Because the slightest movement would cause it to scratch the disk inside it. :lol: Alot of my friends have a ps3, but they all said it gets incredibly hot when they play it. My xbox doesn't get hot like ever.

My xbox doesn't get hot like ever. Mine doesn't get hot. Okay, fair enough, my first broke somehow after 7 weeks, but my current one I've had since around July last year. Since then I've played GTA IV for 8+ hours on countless occasions. February 16, 200917 yr Yeah, I hardly ever feel my PS3 heating up. Although lately it froze twice in short succesion, but Idc, I turned it off and it worked normally afterwards

FO3 still freezes for a couple seconds at times, could be more to do with loading still... PSH and CoD5. PSH was worse, I had to unplug the PS3 since it wouldn't turn off manually. I'm not sure why CoD5 froze though, but there a normal push on the button turned it off.

It also fell off our 4 foot ledge that it sits on next to our TV and nothing happened. Both were while a game was being played. And my CoD disk remains unscratched.

February 24, 200917 yr Although the Wii has a few standout first party games. (Brawl, Galaxy, Twilight) No game on the Wii has truly impressed me and the 3rd party games have pretty much been a turnoff for me, as well as the Wii's disappointing WiFi capabilities. I have been a Nintendo person for so long, but I'll have to give this one to the 360. Bravo - an awesome (yet pricey) Online service, wide variety and selection of quality games, and the system is pretty cheap too (both price and hardware wise). Although some 360 enthusiasts are total jackasses... (reads above) The PS3 doesn't really appeal to me, at all.

I'm just wondering what exactly doesn't appeal to you considering they have mostly the same AAA multiplatform games, near identical graphics either way, both have great exclusives, online support, psn/xbl games, and yet the 360 appeals to you but ps3 doesn't? I own all three systems and I use both 360 and ps3 when i have time, not wii though :lol:. but I just don't understand that if you say the 360 has alot to offer, why would you say ps3 has nothing for you AT ALL when it has pretty much exactly the same stuff as 360 and a bit more?
