WolfhunterXZ Posted March 2, 2007 Share Posted March 2, 2007 Well, I know that this of course has not much to portray towards Members, but I'm posting this here, unto the effect that more people browse and post within the General P2P forum than within the General forum. So... I bring you, another (random?) topic about what you do during Runescape! The question: What song(s) reminds you of old times while training/hanging out on Runescape? The discussion: Which do you think may be some of the best music to listen to during Runescape? I have a few songs that remind me of older times. The big one being "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" by Daft Punk. Back on RSC when I was F2P (I was F2P for about 4 years of my accounts history, lol.) and I was training on the giants in the Edgeville dungeon, I was listening to that song over and over, it drove my parents crazy! Also, "In the End" by Linkin Park, reminds me of blasting the song during the Summer in Jr. High, going up and down the cooking guild (RSC btw), cooking apple pies, as well as mining coal (rapid clicking anyone?). And for some reason the song "Yellow" by Coldplay just makes me happy, and reminds me of all the happy times with my old friends I remember from RSC (Mostly all who are gone off my list.) and of course all my new awesome friends from Tipit who I've met and hung out with the past year and a half. As for the best kind of music, I like a different type of 'metal' along the lines of viking metal such as Iron Maiden and Hammerfall. I also like to listen to DragonForce because most of their music talks about medieval times and medieval adventures such as with dragons, quests, and all that good stuff. -Wolfy P.S. Now I watch south park on itunes or listen to whatever is in my playlist. tomdavies90 Posted March 2, 2007 Share Posted March 2, 2007 Naive and She Moves In Her Own Ways really, remind me of RS because i used to have about 10 songs on my comp when i played loads and i would listen to the same 10 over and over again, those are the 2 i still like and every time i hear them it reminds me of RS. the same way Franz Ferdinand's first album remind me of the school french trip, it was the only album i listened too over the whole week Sig by me.... gonpost Posted March 2, 2007 Share Posted March 2, 2007 Ah yes...there are certain songs that immediately create images of rsc and earlier rs2 in my head when I hear them. Godsmack always reminds me of rsc, especially their song voodoo. Some of the early NIN like PHM remind me of when rs2 came out. Whenever I hear Manson I think of when I killed 1,000's of green dragons before they became popular... Oh there's so many.
