Navigation to world page= 3 pages of adds and if your f2p, 4 pages. That's 3 more then what they get from ss users. 3 more ads= more money. More control over the game = less money. It seems as if they are trying to ballense(Sp) things out, and still have a mighty iron fist over the game... . To be honest...it looks like it IS a win-win situation for JaGeX. What is up with this, seriously though. No dynamic sigs? I think jagex has become a little to greedy with money, and desn't like the fact that people are manipulating software to their advantage, and not jagexs. I'm predicting the account suspension for playing for eight or more hours though. Several people are saying this, why?The sigs probably take up a considerable amount of bandwith and add nothing to the gaming experience, i like the sigs but can live without, Jagex is a company designed to make money, this is merely an attempt to cut (uneccesary) costs and is perfectly justified. As for no bookmarking I never did it but i can see why this is annoying for people who used to bookmark. I don't think Jagex will limit the amount of time you can play a day as there is no way to justify this other than saying we want more money for giving you less, which they wont do. Tip.It's calculators are unaffected by all of this. So are most stat-lookup tools\kits\irc bots. Each time you have to click a button or type in a command to look up a skill, it sends a single request to the system telling it to look at runescape's hiscore list. It doesn't automatically look for them or automatically keep them updated on the screen for you, you have to request for it to look up the name. First, you are not using one of your own polls but rather a poll from a fan site, tip.it to be exact. Secondly, the poll options were limited, so it is completely biased in favour of your interpretation. I have already canceled my account with you and I will encourage others to do so as well. Why are you so threatened by 3rd party applications such as mine and SwiftSwitch? I have written to you in the past on your own forums as your feedback mechanisms are too limiting to provide valid feedback only to be ignored. I have in the past suggested, and now once again suggest that you offer certification for 3rd party applications rather than continually updating your rules to outlaw them. If anything you should be flattered by the work done by your fan base but instead you alienate them by making their works illegal if you find them threatening in any way. You have every right to do as you choose, but I will continue to work on Metis as I see fit and I will let my users decide if they choose to continue using it. This short-sighted, knee-jerk reaction to applications such as Metis is in poor taste and I hope that you come to your senses as you have in the past and re-think this update.
