1.0 My names Craftin Fury. Well my user/character name is. My real name would be Whitney. A girl. This is my first guide. I decided to write a in-depth guide on Berserk Pures. I have seen a few guides here and there, but nothing (with the exception of a few, one being another guide on this site) Nothing that really gets into what a Zerker Pure can really do.

Zerker Pures, pretty much the P2P version of a F2P's Rune Pure (A 40 def pure) Zerker Pures have alot of advantages over F2P's Rune Pure. Zerker Pures have the stats and the power to be a main at 45 defense. They have access to many quest's and you generally need higher skills stats to go these quest. Honestly a 99 Skills stat wouldn't hurt a Zerker Pure. But if your goal is Pking/45 Def Main/ or trying something new. Well keep on reading.

  • 2.0 The General Breakdown

What is a Zerker Pure. Well if your not sure by now or have no idea heres a perfect example of one-

Example: Stats

2002655899740805821_rs.jpg

Combat Level: 103

Everyone will have there different ideas of how your set up should be other then the defense factor. Considering 45 defense IS the point of this type of pure. Alot of people have different views on Attack/Strength/Mage/ and Range. Alot of people will agree on 52 Prayer though. If you believe in a 60-99-45 or a 80-90-45 or even a 99-70-45, our ending goal will pretty much be the same for this guide. I'll do my best to keep all options open seeing everyone has there own stats they prefer.

  • 4.0 The Questing Breakdown

Before we get into the nice list of quests that you can do understand this. Before you do a quest, ALWAYS check your defense exp and double check if your going to get defense exp from the quest your about to do. If your going to, figure out what level your going to get. I CAN'T STRESS this enough. 45 Defense looks a lot better then 46 or 47 unless thats what you would like.

Zerker pures have several ways to train there stats. One of the best and fastest being Questing. Many of you may hate quest but know there are some your going to have to do, if you want all the goodies. You can get exactly 45 Defense with quest. If you want to train, then get the essential quest out of the way first though assuring you wont accidentally get over 45 defense. I perfer taking my time and doing the quest to assure I wont want to go back and regret it. Think about it this way; A quest becomes a pre requirement to a new quest to unlock something new and nifty that you really want. But you didn't do the quest before and it gives you 5k defense exp, getting you 46. Now you would be kicking your self in the butt.

  • 6.0 Training

A great form of training for Berserker Pures is Slayer. Between the better exp and the drops, slayer can prove to be a very handy stat for training. But if you don't enjoy Slayer (Although its a great skill) some other suggested spots are-

Example: Common P2P PKing Inventory.

2003583941912264297_rs.jpg

Both of these set up's have PLENTY of things that can be inter-changed to fit a persons fighting style. Pretty much this set up is Whip until 1/2 to 1/4th health then pull out the DDS and shoot for a KO. Using Smite, and Ultimate Strength. If you prefer more pots, you can change it. This is just an example. Sara Brews and Super Restores are always a good option if you know how to work with them.

Places to pk that are best for Zerker Pures is really NOT to much farther then Greens, up and around there. Remember a Barrows Pure thats a few levels higher with same Attack/Strength can eat through your low defense. Edge is pretty much where you'll get some of your past fights.

F2P:

***From more experienced PK'er, they say its better to PK with Monks Robes with Rune in your inventory and demand for a no armour fight.***

Either way, heres an other set up, for the sake of having some type of picture at least.

Example: Common F2P PKing Outfit.

2001464006273776724_rs.jpg

Once again, just an example. F2P there are a few different ways to PK. Alot of people prefer using a Rune Scimitar + Rune Two Hander. Use what ever you like or how ever fits your style. Alot of people also like Range + Rune Two Handers. If thats the case a Rune Full with Green Dragon Hide would be a good route.

Example: Common F2P PKing Inventory.

2001481197954808025_rs.jpg

Once again, changeable depending on your own style. Just find what fits you best.

Tip: If this helps you, remember to have your prayers on and pot up, then click on another emote or prayer you can't do yet. So you always 100% ready for a fight.

Tip:There are PLENTY of Zerker Pure PKing videos out there. Just watch a few. I like to download them, better quality in my eyes.

  • 8.0 The Wrap Up

60-99-45 or 80-90-45, or whatever you prefer Berserker Pures have there pros and cons. Zerker Pure have a massive offense backed by some of the best and most powerful gear offered at there level. Armed with the ability to pull of alto of quest that 1 or low level pures can't pull off, Zerker pures can be quite powerful. Zerker pues take time to create. Between all there questing and mini games, they can be quite the headache. But when you pk your first whip or something amazing like that, kinda makes you forget about all the headaches along the way.

Take your time. Enjoy, its only a game. :D

9.9/10 :D

A few things you can add:

Always be ready by activating a prayer you can't use yet such as chivarly and having smite and your att\str prayers on. You dont lose prayer until you attack someone or move this way.

Sara brews are very usefull if your HP isnt too high, just bring some brews and some super restores. Works good for dm's and edgeville pking too. If you manage to get vengeance, don't forget to bring the runes for that too. Or, you can have a freind cast other-vengeance on you.

DONT STAKE. You will win sometimes, but even with your high attack and strength your defense will be eaten away.

Most of the good fights will happen in edgeville, everyone and their cousin has a zerker pure now so be prepared for high hits and early deaths if your not quick enough.

You don't need to get a beserker helm, or 45 defense for barrows gloves. The quests will bring you to about 43 defense. Beserker is good though.

F2P Pking: Do wear full rune, do demand armor off. You will get plenty of ko's :) if your members runs out for some reason this is a fun way to pass the time.

+1

Really nice guide, but i suggest adding the penance helmet (Yes i know it's a zerker pure but it's a free headgear). Also adding the pest control skirt as a free to pick up leg gear. (Yes i am a cheap mushroom.).

Suggestion: switch Infinity with Mystic armor. Add painted rune kites/helmets, they are untradeable so you can go pick them up just like defenders/torsos.

Compliment: Quite much better since i last posted here <3:.

I'll do you one better, I'll Leave the Infinity and add Mystic Armor. I know some people like the Inifinity Boots so. I forgot about painted Rune Armor. Will be added. Ty.
