  1. Yikes! That's like Jagex is outrightly deciding you can't ever have normal chat abilities! :( ~D. V. Devnull
  2. Smileys are being worked on. :) Laikrob, it just so happens that I cracked up laughing when the timing on these last 2 posts hit me... (LOL  ...) ....... BTW, what do you think of the youtube video integration, overall? :-s ~D. V. Devnull
  3. You mean, kind of like this? [hide=Forum sidebar][/hide] Dang... You sure missed the conversation!!! :o What I was talking about was in regard to the buttons (quote, reply, etc.) in the forum. I was suggesting a background similar to the website's left column background, but rotated, on those buttons. :) ~D. V. Devnull
  4. 12,813 How about RED vs. BLUE ... ??? (Yes, bad pun intended.) :P ~Mr. Devnull
  5. I couldn't say that better myself. It is too true. 8-) TBH, it leaves me laughing too. Heck, maybe they could disable 'Option 1' when the filter is effectively disabled? :-s ~Mr. D. V. Devnull
  6. I can forgive failing to look at lower resolutions, Errdoth... Just as long as you remember to come back and fix it, of course. :P Yeah, once this theme is all tuned up, it should become my permanent choice, possibly even over SubSilver2 ... ~D. V. Devnull
  7. 12,817 ... G'night for now, folks. 8-) ~D. V. Devnull
  8. In that case... This next post is a test to see if I can force it off with a user-posted order. 8-) KicJSFEgB_U&rel=0 (Same video I used before... " " ...) I hope this works, will edit as to the result... here's to a prayer. UPDATE: It works. Now I know someone is missing something here, and it ain't me! :x ~D. V. Devnull
  9. Meh... I really don't feel that belongs in a Stat Signature... It could be an idea for user profiles, though. ~D. V. Devnull
  10. Alright, Clare, you asked for it... Not on FireFox or Internet Explorer, CTRL+O opens up the Open File Dialogue box <*DVD pulls out a towel, and whacks Clare to knock some "reading sense" into her...*> Now that I've ventilated my violent tendencies over this... Look more carefully at Bac_Talan's post. That is a "0 (Zero)" that they have typed, not a bloody "O (Letter O)"... Further, "Ctrl+0 (Control + Zero)" is the correct command in at least FireFox, if not also Internet Explorer, for resetting the font sizes on web pages. :ugeek: ~D. V. Devnull
  11. No wonder I've been having lag with command executions. :wall: I'll go look, thanks for the heads-up. : ~D. V. Devnull
  12. We don't? Well, alright... <*DVD whacks himself on the head...*> #-o Just for everyone's reference....... I was thinking of something that would remind of the left-side border of the Tip.It Website Pages... But, maybe horizontal/diagonal instead, just to give that gentle forum feel to it... Oh well... LOL  (@ Alduron --- Nice to see you up and awake on the Tip.It forums! : ...) ~D. V. Devnull
  13. Well look on the bright side, its not as bad as the last big dataloss we had. (ScapeBoard) Your right about that. I can get used to this, but won't like them very much. It'll just have to be something I deal with. And guess what, it is already partially fixed. Re-Check your options for themes. They're already trying to add some in. 8-) ~D. V. Devnull
  14. Umm... I seriously think NOT... ... However, I'll let you have a nice snooze for the attempt at humor. LOL! <*DVD hands Das a drink, and watches them drink, then fall asleep for a few hours.*> Now, to wait for that nice "angry wood" sample image from Laikrob. As well as her (Are you female, Laikrob? I didn't know!) interpretation of "calm wood"... I may lack the ability to render my ideas, simply due to a lack of learning, but I'll be glad to get help on rendering it. D_V: GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!! Sorry, didn't know I was reading your mind by accident. It looks good. That makes at least a basic option to work with, and/or use as a starting point... :D ~D. V. Devnull
  15. Alright, time I get involved again here, like I was before. 8-) I suggest in the final rendering that for the light backgrounds, a dark text color (or black) is used on those, so that the numbers can be properly seen in the signature image. (Yes, there'd still be the colored shadow behind it to set it off AND blend it with the image better, but having the dark text would definitely look better than the white text being lost in the current form.) The signature image previews that have the yellow, cyan, and orange background are all a prime example of what I'm speaking of. :geek: Seriously, I hope you change it before it goes live. I'd hate to end up with seeing a thread created by some other user, just so they could complain to Tip.It Staff about this. :? ~D. V. Devnull (The "WATCH OUT!" dude...)
  16. Nice humor. LOL  ... If you can come up with a sample of this "angry" background, I'd love to see it. :) ~D. V. Devnull
  17. What about the "buttons" on posts? Can we submit changes to those? But of course. Suggestions are always welcome. :) Well, Laikrob, I don't have quite enough creative talent to do it... But may I suggest a calm 'Wood Background' on the some of the more apparent buttons on the Tip.It theme? I do think that would make it look a lot nicer. :-s ~D. V. Devnull
  18. Harrington, I support this idea. Sad to say, I've experienced this, as well as not being able to properly convey my feelings about some of the updates. (Jagex really blew it when they didn't allow F2P some minimal forum abilities.) So this would be a definite blessing to the RS Community. :) ~Mr. D. V. Devnull
  19. True, but it does help some of us to know when something gets handled and/or ignored... Sometimes, getting that prompt to check back can allow discussion between the reporting user and the Moderator, so the reporting user can understand why the report got handled/ignored in the manner that it did... In turn, this prevents several useless reports happening about the same item, and can also prevent a user waking up one morning with a warning in their inbox about reports. 8-) ~D. V. Devnull
  20. Just noticed the "TO:" thing on "Compose PM" is no longer functional. (Whoops... hold it... I see that on the side now!) NEW BUG: The "Manage Foes" area is missing. Without that, you've effectively taken away a user's "Ignore" option! :o CANCELLED BUG: The UCP's friends list seemed a little messed up. There was an "Online ... No Friends Online" listed above the only friend I've added so far on these forums. However, it seems to just be grouping by online status instead now. NEW BUG #2: No longer able to add several recipients on PMs... Not good, if a user needs to speak to several people at one shot, and without building a public thread. Can we at least allow a max of 3 recipients??? :-s NEW BUG #3: Aaaaaaaugh!!! The links in the page no longer stand out enough!!! PLEASE, for the love of whoever your deity is, FIX THIS!!! :? NEW BUG #4: YIKES!!! Look at the line for moderator info! The first item in that line, "Moderator:" has been left black, and falls right into the background, like as if there was a pit there!!! PLEASE FIX QUICK!!! :ohnoes: NEW BUG #5: Name colors for Admins, WebSite Crew, and TET Members all need brightening. Right now, they are hard to see. :wall: And where did this whole thing about Leo Laporte come from? :-s ~D. V. Devnull (Sure took enough edits before I ran into these new bugs!)
  21. You're welcome. Glad I could help jog the brain cells back into gear. ~D. V. Devnull
  22. Are you sure you wrote the right code into the function? Including the exact video that I'm using ( ) for my examples, it should be laid out like... ...and the related videos disable is working here. Make sure you're using a "0 (Zero)", not a "O (Letter O)"... 8-) I can tell you what's wrong with it... One of the related videos to my choice is Machinima.com's "Halo 3: The Bag Boy" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XfC69UMQLeQ&rel=0) ... Sad to say, the suggestive imagery and language used is a bit off the deep end. Maybe you don't see it as bad yourself, but think about all the little sub-14 kids whose minds could be polluted by this. :uhh: (Tip: Not trying to bite your head off... Just noticed it sounds that way... Sorry!) That could be a good thing, unless it lags slower systems. :P ... But I like it. ~D. V. Devnull
  23. Since they asked for it, I shall respond....... In short, the "Mr. Green" emote is generally used to signify "Envy of others", or makes a good alternative in some cases to the standard happy face. :) ~Mr. D. V. Devnull
  24. I support this idea... However, I also suggest there be a toggle switch for telling others about your level-ups, as well as a toggle for hearing about other's level-ups. :-s ~Mr. D. V. Devnull [Edit due to a text color issue...]
