The forum might be degrading a bit, I can see that happening. I've only been a posting member of the forums since early 2006, but part of the problem is the GAME'S fanbase In my opinion. If you've noticed how things have been getting 'easier' to progress, and the overall shift in targeted base of individuals to the younger set by jagex, it's not hard to imagine that communities of the game will suffer from the 'newbie crowd.' I say suffer on the intellectual standpoint, because in my experience (coming from a first-person perspective, me as a 6th grader and me now) the younger set are going to pump out more simple-minded topics because few kids really want to think introspectively about things. Is it something to blame? Not them for their nature, as if you think when you were 10,11,12 what was on your mind, definitely not some ingame economy or the psychological aspect of leveling, but probably just to talk. I wouldn't go around blaming the kids for being inherently children (kinda their job, eh?) but it certainly may be part of the problem of the degrading quality that comes from inexperienced minds. A solution you ask? Strict age limits. HAH, I'd hate to say it back then, but from what I see it might help. The subject of lying about age is easy, as often people slip up and tell their real age, and then get Banned. Stricter modding is another option (and less profiled as we're not thinning the community by a stereotype.) If neither of these work, then maybe just making a new forum. An option, but would it be worth leaving Tip.it? The choice is yours. As for the above choices, the administration, I feel if they wish to make the community more intellectual, should choose one or both. There's my 45 cents

I feel ya man. It'd be nice if they took a month to work on one project diligently, checked it all up, and put it out. Something Monstrous, like a new dungeon with superhigh monsters (team combat anyone?) and a new set of armour for all three combat types (75 or 80 lvl req.) However, remember how construction happened, all of a sudden? Could happen with some big update too.

I missed the game more than I missed her XD XD XD As for no-lifing. Not very intelligent, but neither is doing highly addictive drugs yet I betcha we idolize at least a couple of them in our lives. I think he means the more mentally inclined. Which is an obvious yes. Those mentally inclined can appreciate a game devoted to mental stamina, while mental lightweights bypass the game, looking for a new 'quick fix.' The mentally inclined are not always 'smart' but do fit the 'nerd' category, which is connotative to nerds as the nerd stereotype constitutes both a mental inclination (usually stereotyping a physical distancing) and high intelligence, generally book knowledge.

SO I just got my hands on 'suffer' by bad religion. A couple songs into it, sounds like their best album (or up there with generator). After that I had an airplane flight and listened to against the grain, which is right there in the middle of their peak (87-93 IMHO). Both great albums, but I think against the grain has more moving songs. Any comments on my claim? Any others I should check out? I think we're throwing around the word 'honor' here. There is nothing dishonorable about using PC, it's a legal addition to the game; like using a gym compared to push ups and sit ups only. This is kind of like the so-called 'honor' in PVP, 'stay there and let me kill you.' Essentially, in Runescape, honor seems to mean "play the game as boring and weighted against you as possible." This isn't life, it's a game, meant to be fun, not boring as hell. It mgiht be and easier means to use PC, but it's not some cheap easy way out that's not fair. If you want to prove yourself, go ahead, but you're more hardcore than Honorable (or just stupid :mrgreen: ). Please don't compare what I said to those(but not all) idiotic PKers who do that. Those who call you Prayer, Defence, and so on Noobs, they have nothing to do with what I said. It does moreso than you think; as while subjects may differ the underlying thinking is quite similar in terms of complaining about things that should be embraced; PC should be accepted as making combat easier and more fun, rather than something only people with enormous attention spans and way too much free time (not a bad thing, but only so many have the time required.) This is much like defense, teleports, running, and prayer in the wilderness; while not added to the mix, they change up the gameplay, making it harder for some (those with so-called 'honor') and easier for others (us who are smart, usually labeled cowards because we don't prefer standing there and die.) People are too stubborn about stuff like that, and from my view it's just annoying. I am completely against all of the Wilderness Honor things, I believe that you should be able to use those things to your advantage. But, I just do not like the fact that people spend all their runescape time in PC and learn nothing about the game itself. They go in and play the same thing enough to be a high level, but are still noobs on the inside. It makes it worse because so many people do this, and end up with no respect for other players. Now that's something abotu this I can get behind; the fact that level 100s are running around being complete nubcakes because they played for what, three months and got easier levels. That is my problem with PC, the stupid people getting easy levels, but the easy level getting itself is fine for me (however, you can't have one without the other, so I'll go with PC because its still pretty fun)

This update doesn't make the game worse, it makes it more realistic and in the end more challenging. I personally think this'll mix things up enough for some new ways to do things, and support this update

JUNE 25TH Over the course of yesterday and today, I made two new levels, first woodcutting hit 66 Then after testing out certain mining varieties, explained below, I hit 71 mining (not going after a goal right now, might eventualyl though) Don't you just love that new Varrock? Anyways, onto what I did. I began recording data on one variety of mining I've been trying out, Mining adamant and mithril near draynor. The data I found is included on the first post under moneymaking experiments. I plan on testing more varieties later.

JUNE 24th... AGAIN I gotz the leet level of 44 runecrafting. Now to woodcut with that nub Salim till I feel up for combat. Here's a pic of me reaching that level.

Not gonna spoil it for you because I'm not a nub, but if you remember the website that spoiled the sixth book (I'm the woman tomarrow, cat) it's around there. As for reading this book... nah, they'll make a movie of it, and I like the talky-pictures better than words on paper.

notice how 'style' seems to list clothes. heh. I'll give it a shot because like everyone else I want to be heard whiteboy fro with a 30's looking pale blue hat, got my aviator shades on, some generic band t-shirt (or play shirt from one I've been in), girl's pants (once you go girlpants, you can't go back =/) and either some sambas or generic vans for footwear. Music; your typical old skool punkrock/hardcore fair, some of the misfits (and subsequent samhain and danzig, which leads into some metal stuff.) Bad Brains are awesome, breaking the color barrier on my kind of music (also leet rastafarians) Some crazy electronic stuff like Venetian Snares (that guy is pwn) A strong distaste for the 'hardcore' pretend (cat) music of today (girly screaming isn't hardcore IMO, neither is cutting wrists). HORSE the band an exception. COuntry is barely tolerable, but not on my MP3 player. Most hip-hop makes me gag, except old Public Enemy maybe. Important Definers - I sing in a Metal/Horrorpunk band, used to sing in a generic rock/noise band. I play the bass guitar, have for tweo years associate with 4chan. Longcat IS loooooooooooooong. I think they should, regardless of if they are. Varrock looks pretty, but with our awesome 40 polygon bodies trudging aorund it doesn't seem the same. I think maybe an update consisting of plenty more ways to customize your character came out, whoa boy, I would be one happy banana
