How did your Runescape name "come to be"?
Warlover replied to Flareboy64's topic in General Discussion
I was young and liked magic so I tried to call my RS Warlock. That was taken but one of the suggestions was War_love67 so I cut the numbers and space and whacked an R on the end. Warlover -
10th August 2009 - Fur 'n' Seek (and Patch Notes)

Main quest took 5mins yet to finish it off properly I've got to get my slayer up 5 levels :( Thats over 500k xp -
Maybe they'll come up with more slayer equipment that combines items like Smellysocks said, similar to the Helmet. But I'd like to see upgrades to the equipment like what a Super Fishing Explosive is to the regular, Better arrows/bolts, a better leaf-bladed weapon, a higher level magic dart. Or even buying the armour that the slayer master used when confronting Lucien, that looked pretty cool. [hide=Pic of the Armour] [/hide] How about a copy of the big guys sword?

He blatently tells the guy he didn't lose 350M, then he looks into it for real and sees that he did and apologizes for it. If you would have looked at the mobilising armies update thread while this was going on there would have been a lot more proof in the form of QFC's and such. It did happen, he lost 350M, Mat K clearly apologizes for him being wrong(telling him he didn't lose the money), and he thanks him for pursuing the issue(him losing 350m). It's extremely obvious what happened...... #-o Look at the image. The jmod never specifically says he did lose the money or that his mistake was assuming the guy hadn't. There's obviously posts tht have been left out between them, but based on the image alone what Mod Mat K doesn't really confirm he lost it, though you could easily imply that meaning to it, but the ambiguous nature of his apologising reply doesn't give any direct, 100% confirmation seeing as it has been taken out of the flow of the thread and thus lost context. What else do you suggest that it means? The apology was for Mod Matt calling Exile a liar. Exile claimed to have lost 350M. Mod Matt retracted his claim which heavily implies that Exile was not lying and therefore telling the truth. All I ever see you do on these forums is poke holes in other peoples posts.

21st July 2009 - The Curse of Arrav (and Patch Notes)
Warlover replied to Xecer's topic in General Discussion
I've thought about this from time to time, and I think that the answer is "nothing." First, players' ability to ferret things out never ceases to amaze me. Second, and more importantly, I don't think that Jagex would allow content to go unnoticed forever. They'd leak it or give a hint or something if they had to. If they went to the trouble to put it in, they'd make sure someone noticed it eventually. That would depend on several factors: 1. How important the content is to them. 2. How large the content is - A single reference to other work isnt likely to be pointed out. 3. How recently it was put in - New secret content isnt likey to be pointed out for a while if left undiscovered. -

I knew it! That name sounds too forced to not be an anagram! Zemouregal's notes about Wahisietel: "A mahjarrat of average power. Keeps himself to himself mostly. Rumours are that he may have Zarosian sympathies. That would be a fun rumour to further spread. The more the other have reasons to distrust eachother, the better. Ali the Wise from the Nardah KB page: "Ali the Wise is a curious figure in the desert: his skin is paler than you might expect, and he knows a curious amount about the history of not only the desert, but also of the secret races whose existence is a mystery. If you need some information about these things, though, he's the man to talk to." =D> Well done to that guy, Jagex get pretty sneaky with these quests. Makes you wonder what else has been put into the game on the sly that we havnt noticed. (I was surprised at how pale he was when I talked to him for this quest....) -
Well recently there where those 4 pictures of a house in what looked like various times of day, perhaps it is linked to that?

Possible hint to more planes of existance?
Warlover replied to sarg1010's topic in General Discussion
Its been there since the Smoking Kills Update I believe. Perhaps its the portal the Mahjarrat came through from their plane, Freneskae, to serve the Icthlarin before they turned to Zaros? -
Too much lag. Not good. Increased Grave Timers. Very Good. The rest. *Meh*....

What was the true point of of the run update?

Cynic!! Nah, this year was all about updating the little things to make the game better, this is just one of those things. -

TBH, If I'd known that all the bug abusers would get away with it, I'd have been at GWD in a flash. But no, I logged off as soon as I realised. I hate me sometimes. -
Doesnt Look that bad, theres a .gif on the Achievement Diary page on the RS wikia showing a person wearing all the current items, all level 3. I think the Level 2 Headband would have fitted better though as it is silver.
-
No pic no proof? Haha! Genius. How about altough most at few NPC's have been around since the start of RS, non have levelled any skills in that time. Surely their should be several level 138 Men/Women walking about that can be pickpocketed for 3gp a time?
-
Well part of Seers 3 reward is an enhanced Excalibur, this might be considered the Diary Weapon

2nd June 2009 - Hunt for the Red Raktuber + Patch Notes
Warlover replied to darkjab's topic in General Discussion
The red Axe isn't tied into this. The dwarves in this quest fractured off from the Red Axe, meaning they weren't a part of it anymore. The Red Axe plays no part in the penguin series. Also the connection with the sea slug is very, very loose, actually in the end the connection seems to be going to be "undone" by the KGB.. (altough a twist can still be there where the slugs actual start controlling the penguins, it would make the story very far-stretched). The captain was under the control of a slug. That's where that connection comes from. What that may mean for the future, I can't say. I'm looking forward to meeting mother Mallum though. How often do Jagex bring quests lines together without some plan of doing it again in the future? [hide=Probable spoilers]> The Submarine could have come up anywhere but they chose Witchhaven. > They made the captain be under the influence of a slug - Another race trying to conqueror Gielinor. > The whole scene involving the Captain was a build up to the dramatic unveiling of the slug. > The whole fish-hat thing was based on the fact the Captain had a Sea Slug on his Head, otherwise it would have been pointless. > The dwarves, rather than been non-specific dwarven engineers that defect, are specifically labelled as Red Axe. > Red Axe is creating an army of Chaos Dwarves, so has violent intentions, with the help of an Ogre(?) Shaman[/hide] Its all become woven together like some of the other quests before WGS -
A 2nd Grandmaster Quest based on the dwarven storyline (and looks like it may pull in Penguins and Sea Slugs)
-
It is a hypercube backpack that pulls from an alternate universe... That makes so much more sense!! Now explain how such technology exists.

2nd June 2009 - Hunt for the Red Raktuber + Patch Notes
Warlover replied to darkjab's topic in General Discussion
Not a bad quest, think it had a good plot with a decent reward for the time put into completeing it. [hide=Spoiler]Think its good how they've tied together Slug, Penguin and Red Axe Storylines so this is almost definatly building up to the next Grandmaster Quest that has been mentioned before (in the Dwarf Dev Diaries I think). Hope its on par with WGS[/hide] -
I Like It. Hopefully a Jmod will spot it on here and make the change.
