  1. There's quite a lot, but I think the one that I'd want is smoking and allowing tobacco smoke (or the chemicals therein) to reach a non-smoker. This includes unborn children, for which there should be even harsher penalties.
  2. Within reason, yes they have. They've solved the problem, anyway, so now it's just a question of putting the pieces back together. Lawsuits would have not been worth Jagex's time because: 1. Most of the time, they don't know who/where a company is exactly. 2. Proving beyond reasonable doubt who/where the company is would be almost impossible. 3. RWT companies are too small and were too numerous. Taking down one would have been urine in the ocean. 4. A lot of countries would not consider RWTing illegal, or wouldn't consider it significant enough for them to take action upon. 5. Lawsuits are expensive, especially international matters which might not be won anyway. 6. Even if they took a lot of companies down, the supply would be reduced, the real-world value of coins would rise and more companies would be formed to replace them. 7. It would be quicker, easier, more efficient and cheaper to make in-game measures against RWTing as a whole. I have not seen a single identifiable bot for about 7 months. I think Jagex has done all they can to take down RWTers.
  3. I'm more of a red wine person, one of my favourites being Chateauneuf du Pape. My favourite beer is probably Guinness, but nothing beats the stuff which you get in the brewery in Dublin. Finally, my other favourite alcoholic drink is Rum & Coke, but only if it's proper Coca Cola, and preferably Mount Gay Rum. On the other hand, I can't stand Gin & Tonic. Unlike a lot of people I know, I don't enjoy being properly drunk at all, and that's without the hangover.
  4. I've been though a lot. Yo-yos, Crazy Bones, Beyblades, Yugioh cards, Pokemon, Diabolos, Scoobies, those tiny skateboards, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga (everybody, including me, played this game), Dragonball Z, Top Trumps, rubber wristbands, Tamagotchis, and obviously RuneScape. Some of the crazes I never tried because they were not my kind of thing, such as Beyblades, Yugioh, Pokemon and those tiny skateboards. Others I dived into when they happened, such as the Mario game, DBZ, RS, and Top Trumps. The rest I tried once then never did them again. Crazes can be fun.
  5. I agree with you. The spaces between important areas should be stretched, but I have serious doubts whether Jagex would consider it.
  6. At first glance, I thought it was some kind of South Park reference. One thought process later, and I could tell this was going to happen. 'Annoying little niggles' + RSOF link nearby = Inevitable. Jagex, you dug the hole. Now dig yourself out of it.
  7. There are some things which I would like to see on the GE price graphs, it's a good idea which deserves expansion. For example, I like the idea of a graph which tracks multiple prices, but it will work especially well if you could select a logarithmic scale, otherwise you end up with the graph which the OP has just shown, which is not very clear for low value items when put together with comparatively high value item. Since it's 'Upgrade Year', or so I've heard, we can expect some improvements to the GE database to make it more intuitive. Actually, it's probably possible to do this update ourselves, in the micro-helper.
  8. It shouldn't be removed, I think the proposed 5 minutes is ideal. If you don't do anything in-game for longer than that, you may as well not be playing. But there is the issue with the browser crashes and randoms, where the shorter auto-logout comes in handy. Solution: 1. Remove random events which can kill you. They're not needed and are a nuisance anyway. 2. Set the standard auto-logout timer to 5 minutes. 3. In areas where the monster population are aggressive to the player reduce the timer back to 90 seconds if the player is in that area. This includes PvP areas.
  9. But does it give a something in turn for training it? After all, fletching produces bows for alching and weapons for ranged. It doesn't have to be money, but it's just that a portable range isn't that great, especially when the lowest level log has no benefits over the highest one. So, yes. It is, for general use, pretty useless. It's more of an activity requirement than anything. If only Jagex would properly update it with something that's for general use, and isn't another requirement for another activity.
  10. Rule number 36 of parenthood: Don't use your child's name to make a statement. Use it somewhere else, sure, but not on a kid's birth certificate. :shame:
  11. You are one very smart and very correct person. Jagex's Runescape is a business, they won't give-in to the wants of F2p because their goal is to basically persuade the F2per's to pay some money to get such updates. If Jagex just gave things to F2p willy-nilly, there woudl be less incentive for players to move to the membership status. Whilst I do (partially) agree with letting F2p get some benefits, there are good reasons for the balance of Free-Paying. Cheers. :D
  12. I can confirm that Marvin is correct. That's a legendary name. :
  13. It's worse: This is awesome too:
  14. Only one that I know enough about to make a comment on is Scotland and Wales, and for that one I see no need for their independence. They are almost governed separately anyway, it's just that the government needs to sort itself out and stop giving reasons for the pro-Independence movement to campaign about. I think it's a good incentive system.
  15. Oh boy, the Internet is never going to forget this one. On a serious note, they shouldn't have taken so long with the arresting thing. They should have released him but removed his reporter's license. They know how extremists like to feed on things like this.
  16. No need more more acronyms (although I like the idea of BYT). You could just say 'Hyt, merry xmas!' or something. Quick, but understandable, as long as you know what Hyt is. And by God you better know what Hyt is. *glare*
  17. I would probably quit for a long time, but I'd try again after about a year. Whether I'd keep on playing again, I don't know.
  18. I'd really like the dragon kite, but only if we get to have a set effect if you wear the lot with a dragon weapon. Super-powered specials ftw.
  19. That would a great project if enough people get together and put together some high quality information.
  20. This man speaks the truth. This poll was a no-brainer, coolest clothing for me.
  21. Yeah, but it's not continuous, and it's insanely dangerous too, it's like some kind of 'extreme skilling'. God dammit that gold selling banner ad has come up for the hundredth time today. -.-
  22. Investing is a bad idea, with an item so obviously overpriced in today's climate, prices aren't going to go stable quite yet until the price has really dropped to around 8 mill, hovering over the chainbody, which is a cheaper alternative that serves the same function equally well (good looks). There is no real price manipulation here, it's just common sense.
  23. My life is forever changed. Wait a minute, I already have one of those booklights... :ohnoes:
