Unions
As everyone says, it's a double edged sword, although I generally dislike unions, and some I completely resent. I don't think there's never ever been a union representative that I've ever warmed to or generally agreed with. I'll admit I don't know very much about the public sector as I have no intention to go into it, but can someone explain to me the logic behind public sector pensions? Wouldn't it be simpler, cheaper and require far less commitment on the government's behalf to simply pay the equivalent amount in wages and let the people who work in the public sector set up a pension or let them do with the money as they see fit?

Hitting through teleports?
I'll add my support for always using Teleport to House tablets in the overworld. It's by far the best one-click teleport you can have. I'd say everyone should use them, but that would make them more expensive to me

Bonus XP Weekend 11th to 13th March
Goddamn, this thing always brings the game to a crawl for a month. Seriously, I'd trade in the bonus xp for lower prices any day.

law running is back!!!! free laws for you
I guess the whole Zamorak Robes thing is a tradition, but not law running itself. Anyway, I'm happy that people managed to get together again to get it working, although having fairy rings without requiring a staff, I'm not one who needs that many laws. Natures, on the other hand, are a different matter.

New Magicks for Members Only
As I understand it now, PvP's pretty much sorted out balance wise. Also, isn't it the point that Nomad's spells extend far beyond what any normal human could and should possess? I mean, he's level 699. Now, if there was a magic book dedicated to PvM, filled with really cheap spells, then I'd be interested.

Jagex Limited receives growth investment from new investors
i have observed the opposite - until dungeoneering and nex, everything in runescape was a solo effort, and using the GE made being a runescape hermit completely possible. Hasn't been a solo possible game since godwars part I. Some of us just linger because we can kind of see a small glimpse of the old game and don't care about runescape gp. RS as a community is slowly morphing into WOW which is nothing but a bunch of ass-hats. WoW = good game, bad players. How can you say that and have a Tip.It account which was made well before the trade restrictions? You seriously can't remember how bad it was back then, or didn't you play RS? The community hasn't morphed in the slightest, it's just as filled with scammers and 'ass-hats' as before. Stop looking at the past with rose-tinted glasses.

Prepare to Invade Israel,
Ah, fair enough. It's an easy mistake to make. Alright, if we're talking about military presences that are permanently in and from the middle east, yeah, nothing really beats Isreal's. When a country has seen that much constant conflict and tension, it's not really that surprising. Sorry, this is one of my pet peeves, but please try and spell Israel correctly next time. Sorry. I wonder why the spell-checker didn't pick up on it?

21-Feb-2011 - Attack of the WildyWyrms!
To be brutally honest, I often wonder if people just say that certain 'high level' content is 'easy' just to make themselves seem better at the game than they actually are. It's like that Four Yorkshiremen sketch. But I digress. Jagex should prioritise things right. The Hati Wolf was fine because it was a novelty, gave a decent reward, and is likely to return next year. The lore of it was pretty nice too. These WildyWyrms, as fun as they sound to do once, feel completely pointless. They don't contribute anything to the game. That said, there's something about that 'WildyWyrm!!' poster that cracks me up.

21-Feb-2011 - Attack of the WildyWyrms!
Agreed 110%. It actually pisses me off that my money contributed to this sorry excuse of an update. yeah, if there going to pit the effort into making new bosses- something that runescape badly needs- how about they make them permenant, and you know, actually worth killing? Runescape needs more bosses? That's news to me. I would think that what the game 'badly needs' would be the Smithing update, fixing up neglected content like Trouble Brewing and Charm Sprites, or adding more depth to some non-combat skills like Firemaking, Fletching or Thieving.

Iraq. Excuse me, i'm going to go bang my head against a wall for the next 4 hours. Maybe it will knock some sense into you and you'll realize that America has massive military presence all over the Middle East. But we are not in the middle east. The continent we live on is no where close to the region of the world we call the middle east. If our army is not from the middle east, then it is automatically knocked out when competing for the best army of countries in the middle east. We're not talking about living in the country, we're talking about occupying or otherwise existing within the country, there's a difference. A huge part of the US military influence is in the middle east right now, fact. Also, I'm more concerned about Lebanon and Bahrain right now, as far as I'm aware, Israel can hold it's own. Hezbollah could never summon enough military force to put enough of a dent in the place.

We need a new emote
Honestly, we need a great big emote update, including some two-person emotes like a handshake, hug and hi-five. That would be awesome.

18-Feb-2011 - You brought back the Wildynow you can prove it!
Nah, you're just focusing too much on the negative. We generally like the game and the content that Jagex puts into it (for example, the recent Skill Bonanza update and Quest were well received), but we will equally point out when Jagex does something... less than smart. This is one of them.

2006 runescape vs. 2011 runescape?
Put it this way: I wouldn't want to go through another 2006 after seeing how far the game has come now.

18-Feb-2011 - You brought back the Wildynow you can prove it!
Now hang on, there's no need to be spiteful. It's a badly thought out idea, but at least there's good intentions.

No, I'm not going to link my Facebook account with Runescape. It's not out of any kind of insecurity complex that some people here have going on, it's just that I think that my Facebook account is about my public life, talking to people, social events and so on. Not silly things like games that I play in my free time. It's like those stupid Farmville posts, nobody cares about your progress in a game apart from the people you play the game with.

Auto log out.
If you anyone thinks this is an issue at all, I dread to think how they would have dealt with the timer a few years ago when it was about a minute or so of inactivity. Also, if you've been playing the game for 6 hours straight, there's probably something very wrong with your playing habits. In all of my time playing this game, I've never had that come up.

Jagex needs to upgrade their GE servers
It won't load for me now. It's never been a problem for me before, though.

15-Feb-2011- Skill Bonanza
After eating obscene amounts of that stuff, bought for a tiny sum from the natives, I proceeded to cut down dozens of trees, mined out the natural ore deposits in the area, paid vast amounts of cash to the sawmill to get some planks, killed half a dozen cows for their sinew, smelted a dozen metal bars using unrefined coal, slaughtered 26 yaks for their hair which I spun into rope, then defaced several spots of natural beauty with hidey-holes and rope racks for the convenience of abusing a rare bird species or taking shortcuts through prior undisturbed routes. After all that, I still get that warm fuzzy feeling that I did my part to save the rainforest.

Microsoft enters "Strategic partnership" with Nokia
I don't care about Windows Phone 7, but I do care about Nokia. They produced some fantastic hardware in their time, and they really should have gone with Android. The combination of the two would have been beautiful.

Why do you think Jagex made 99s Require so Much EXP?
Firstly, fletching isn't that fast, it's about 200k. It might be one of the easier skills, but it's tedious. Secondly, you've completely ignored the time it takes to get the money to train the other skills that that rate. Just because physically getting the experience is a fast process doesn't mean that training the skill as a whole is fast. If it was, everyone would be running around in herblore and construction capes. Often it costs in the hundreds of millions of coins to get into the real meat of a skill (see: Prayer). I think that as it is, the amount of effort required to get a 99 in a skill is alright. It's difficult, and demands long term commitment, but it's not completely unreasonable.

Real life firelighters?
I knew they existed, but I could never find any shops that sold them. You can make them by getting a few handfuls of a salt (different salts make different colours), dissolving them in water or alcohol, soaking some logs or whatever you are burning in the solution, then allowing them to dry. For extra realism, add a coloured dye to the solution that matches the colour of the flame. Chemistry is a fine thing.
