Found this in the RSOF, QFC 15-16-309-64015642: People don't seem to be actually getting banned or such, but feel free to bring more information if you find any. :)

[hide=Patch notes] Graphical: Dororan is now using an updated dwarf model and set of anims. Swimming to a rock on Baxtorian Falls is now using a non-broken animation. Quests & Tasks: The map hint for the beginning of Grim Tales has been updated with the new location post-Troll Warzone. Karamja gloves 4 now give double damage against Wild dogs all over the Brimhaven dungeon. Skills & Minigames: The Big Chinchompa minigame now more reliably checks if a player's score exceeds 1111 for the Completionist cape. It is no longer possible to gain multiple copies of Hybrid armour from one reward-giving interface. Players can no longer get ingots outside of the Artisan's Workshop. Other: The Clan Avatar buff range checks now work more reliably. Wind Rush can now be cast when a Clan Avatar is following a player. The "Ghastly Attack" scroll has been renamed to "Ghastly Request", in line with several other places in game. Crafting Dramen branches no longer delays combat rounds. The Bank Help interface has been altered to prevent some text lining up to make it look like a typo. Typing "//" followed by lots of characters in a private message no longer causes disconnection. A missing space has been added to the Invigorate aura examine information. A typo in Tarn's diary has been corrected. [/hide]

Me too. There's a surprising amount of people in the 40-50+ range, but they tend to not go on fansite forums.

It's the difference between being right and being wrong, which is a big deal. Is it? Considering this forum is all about asking questions and getting the right answer, yes.

That's pretty neat, I like that they tried to give the impression that they don't know how to use the weapons properly.

Here's my Concept Artwork I've won from Jagex!
Will H replied to XxTearGodxX's topic in General Discussion
That's actually really nice, make sure you frame it or otherwise protect it! -
BTS#15: Al Kharid: Rebuilding a City (Jagex Video)
Will H replied to Cowman_133's topic in General Discussion
I have never ever found fault with the Graphical team at Jagex, I'm looking forward to this. It's very interesting how the art style over the last year or two has come together so well. -
Fantastic news! A small bit of my lost respect for Jagex has been restored, it seems that there's clearly some people there who know what's good and right for the game, but they're fighting to get themselves heard. MMG, and whoever else is helping you get things done, we hear you. Keep it up.

Your New Secret Weapon: Clan Avatars! 14 Aug 2012
Will H replied to Mercifull's topic in General Discussion
Interesting. I'm curious to see how common these Orts are, I hope they're not too restrictive. This might turn out to be a nice boost for clans. -
Here's a funny thing, I'm having a birthday barbecue tomorrow with homemade burgers, and my dad suggested getting small cubes of strong red cheddar cheese, wrapping them in a basil leaf, and then poking them into the raw burgers before we cook them tomorrow. Apparently it's a Jamie Oliver recipe. I'm just really curious what they will taste like.

Oh wow, that's just terrible. People are going to just tap you on the shoulder and tell you that something's wrong with your car. Even worse is the "stanced" one. Having wheels that are angled like that, aside from the dangerous increase in tire wear, breaks the aesthetics and aerodynamics of the car. That's, uh, my opinion, anyway.

I say, Good Day!
Will H replied to Spaciouz's topic in Introductions, Farewells, & Forum Account Help
Ah, a fellow gentleman, good day to you too, and welcome to the Tip.It forums! -
Completed it! [hide]That was fun, but I swear the penguin storyline is getting progressively darker and more serious. It started off as a goofy "Evil penguins are taking over the world" plot, but now characters are mentioning slavery, treaties, torture and full blown PTSD. I'm even starting to doubt that the Polar Bears are the good guys now. I love it. Does anybody know what the "surprise for sharp-eyed spies among you" is yet? I does have something to do with Penguin Hide and Seek, right?[/hide]

"Insight Venture Partners" filtered on the RSOF
Will H replied to Logdotzip's topic in General Discussion
Agreed, this is known as the Streisand Effect, which basically means that any direct effort to suppress any information that appears online causes it to gain more publicity. I'm not convinced that the people who ordered the censor are so technically unsavvy to not know about that though, surely there must be more to it. Search engines are a good theory, but even then it sounds like a risky strategy. If they become sufficiently hated enough, say, by actually introducing proper full blown cash-for-coins RWT or otherwise destroying the game, people would likely start Googlebombing and publicly advertising them as "people to avoid if you're a game developer". I don't know, maybe they are just incompetent at basic PR. -
Jagex acused me of real world trading What's going on?
Will H replied to Deathscythe's topic in Help and Advice
My account has been "banned" for various reasons about 5 times, according to these emails. It unsettled me a little the first time I got one until I found I could log into my RS account perfectly fine. I think nearly all of the ones that people have been receiving have a common source. I could smell the phish from a mile away, but it's still not a nice feeling when someone threatens the continued existence of the account you've had since childhood. -
We already have a thread going about this, so please feel free to continue discussion of the BETA there, which can be found by following this link. :) Will H ~ Tip.It Global Moderator

Heh, I'm glad they saw the light. Content like Hati is the way to go, and I hope we see more of that instead. So long as this doesn't involve the SoF, I'm happy. I'm not optimistic about that though, but let's take it a step at a time.

11-Jul-2012 - Social Slayer & Gielinor Games Preparation
Will H replied to Saradomin_Mage's topic in General Discussion
If the whole point is getting xp, then that's something that needs to change. Doing activities socially is much more fun and personally fulfilling than doing it on your own, and Runescape has trended towards this fact, and it's not an unwelcome one. If all you care about is xp, all the power to you, but lots of players don't play the game for that. I certainly don't. -
2012 U.S. Elections - President Obama Re-elected
Will H replied to Range_This11's topic in Off-Topic
http://senateconserv...repealobamacare Deciding your vote for a candidate based on one issue is a terrible way to vote. That's true, but that's how a lot of people decide to vote, doing things like weighing pros and cons and taking into account this and that requires more thinking than most people are willing to do. This is true in pretty much all democratic elections and countries. Unfortunately, "I've always voted for party x, and nothing bad has happened to me as a direct result, so I'll vote for them again" is the most common one, followed by "This candidate has stance y on issue z that I care about, so I'll vote for them". Hell, I'm guilty of that sometimes, pretty much everyone is at some point. -

Rate, not number. :wall: It's like 12 per 100,000 versus 4 per 100,000. E: Also, what counts as health care? Does it include elective surgeries like breast implants or botox treatments? Do you include things like acne medicine or spa treatments? These are things people with disposable income will buy where other countries can't afford x-ray machines. Luckily my mother is a retired NHS nurse, so I posed to her your questions: Acne treatments, yes, but only for chronic cases that can lead to complications. Spa treatments, no. Breast implants, only for the purpose of restructuring after a mastectomy (usually performed as a treatment for breast cancer). Botox, yes, but not for cosmetic purposes, there are some medical conditions that can be treated with the compound. Basically, if you want bigger breasts, you'll still need to go private in the UK.
