I think people forget that P2P would also be getting the space + more. So, this idea gives members 12 or more new slots, and, we have quite a few of them come in and complain about it. o.O It doesn't inconvenience them that F2P also gets a little space along with theirs, and, it does give them more bank space. Honestly, I don't see why people are so opposed to the idea? I will reiterate a point again, it is not like the spaces are being REMOVED from the P2P bank space.

But if MechScape has been in development for as long as your evidence says, it would have been announced long before now on the corporate website, and perhaps even on runescape.com. Have you ever thought they want to keep it a surprise/secret until it is very close to being finished before they release it? Maybe they don't want to deal with members whining on the forums about how they are so slow, or they want it now. Jagex has kept secrets before. Hunter is a prime example.

Hmm, lets look at it form your point of view. Mechscape is just a myth. So, Jagex registered all those domain names with "mechscape" names in them for pure fun. They also must be hiring employees with a sci fi interest just for pure conversational reasons. Also, Jagex must have registered a trademark for Mechscape, because it sounds cool. Not saying it is definite, but, it has a lot of merit.

A pile of gold pieces next to the stump, and a fire roasting a fish on top on a spit roast type thing. hammer and anvil under the fire and in the corner some coal & iron ores with a rune pickaxe stuck in. runes, a magical staff and some blank runes and a tiara (air) right next to the blank runes. I made a rough sketch of what the the idea, and, if you want, you could move some items around for a better fit / look In the background, I am liking the idea a grassy landscape with the full moon out. I would definitely do flesh crawlers, hill giants or hobgoblins. Hill giants are crowded unless you do the hill giants in the maze. Still, I meet very little pkers in that area. But, rule is, if you see a white dot, log and get on your scout. Hobgoblins, best place is in the wilderness, but, you could also do the peninsula or the ice cave. Hobgoblins also drop a lot of limpwurt roots which, can fetch about 1k a root. So, you could make quite a bit of money if you bank them.

Ok, according to the latest statistics, there are 1 million Runescape subscribers, and 10 million free players. Do you honestly thing that Jagex would drop almost 91% of their players? Ok, look around in all of runescape. How many autoers do you see compared to normal players. At extremes, there are about 400 bots in one world. I am over estimating here. So, there are 72 F2P servers so, 400*72 is 28,800. Close to 29000 bots playing. And there are 119,794 F2P players playing currently by my calculations. 28,800/119494 is around .2404, so, 24% of the F2P players are macroers. Not the half or the majority as most people are saying. And remember, this is a large overestimation. If Jagex would step it up on banning bots on the free server, the bots would never go to P2P, so, you would cut bot killing costs by not having to go from the top link of the chain down. You could kill the flow, and pick off the remaining stragglers that got in. With about more than half the people playing daily being F2P players, I doubt that Jagex will get rid of F2P any time soon. And, if you are going to flame me on my statistics, don't say I pulled them out of my [wagon]. Because, I took the time, unlike some people flaming F2P to look at the facts. I went to the runescape site, pulled up a list of the F2P servers, punched in all the players in every F2P server. I also know there are 72 servers, and, a rough estimate (over estimated) is 400 bots a server. So, some of the facts are rough, but, I based the 400 upon the amount of players in the wee hours of the night, and most of the players then are macros, because, the normal players have gone to bed.
