  1. To all those having problems peeing and playing Runescape, you should invest in a laptop, a wireless router, and play on the toilet. Problem solved. So every time nature calls you have to lug a 5 pound laptop around your house and then back? C'mon, there's much more elegant solutions. Yes, a Dialysis Machine. Just last night, I was surfing the web while mining gold. I zoned out in another window for a couple of minutes, awoke with a snort, and found myself in lumbridge when I logged back in. Not because the random I received killed me in twenty seconds, but because I logged out while fighting it. Courtesy of the timer.
  2. Well, how about severely reduced exp? Or, when hitting multiple targets, average the damage dealt.
  3. Well, for some skilling. From what I hear, the rewards are not useful for mining, woodcutting, fishing, or hunting. They're best used with expensive production skills like smithing or crafting.
  4. Bull [cabbage]. I'll have you know that MMO's are well known to be full of articulate, mature, selfless, thoughtful people, both young and old, who would like nothing better than to sit down to a nice meal and give reasonable compliments to the matriarchal member of the family. I don't know where people get these false impressions on the internet. Ah, Omali, I knew there was a reason I missed the TIF boards. Your divine wit and legendary humor is what tethers me to this place. This man speaks nothing but truth! Actually, I find him droll and trite. And increasingly annoying. Indeed, this sort of behavior does nothing but detract from a game's atmosphere and prestige. But, given that it is not officially against the rules, what can you do about it?
  5. Hallucinations created by illegal fungal concoctions?
  6. Following this, a portal opens and out pops the ole' Grim Reaper. Announcing that a place must be held for SC during his... inconvenience, he takes your Santa Suit and, with the help of his new manservant, teleports away to Varrock to placate the crowds after giving you a Homing Hourglass that leads you to the frozen north where the tuxedo'd captors are holding Santa. You overhear their plans- they hope to learn the secrets of flight through Santa and his magic sleigh. Though you have no idea what to do, you charge in and try to save him. You are handily captured and tossed into an icy prison. While pondering your fate, you notice a carved block of ice, in the shape of a man. Next to it lies an old, tattered Wizards Hat. Thinking that something knocked it off the sculpture, you place it upon the sculptures head and it comes to life! Chilly the Iceman is not, unfortunately, a happy jolly soul and smashes his way out of the prison and through the Penguin's HQ. Given this opportunity, you proceed to escape, free Mr. Clause, and away on his sleigh. The two of you return to the G.E. to find that the reaper's best are not good enough- with limited experience with children, he gives Jack Skellington type gifts. And the sleigh is all wrong; instead of nine reindeer, there is but a single large, malevolent hellhound menacing a group of carolers. Santa swoops in, stops the toys, wrangles the dog, and boots grim out on his bony bum. He then proceeds to dole out children safe toys and, as a reward for your services, gives you a spare set of his own clothing, magically fitted to be suitable for a smaller person.
  7. What do you mean? Like Hp Restore?
  8. I hope the imp is a permanent reward. I'd rather have him then a santa suit.
  9. Looks like someone's been veeeery naughty...
  10. Oh we'll see when Dragon Sword comes out with a special that makes people laugh in the face of DDS and D claws. When you put it that way:
  11. Romania So why don't you punctuate your sentences with "Bleh bleh!" or "I vant to suck your BLOOD!"? Oh, wait, sorry- that's Transylvania. Transylvania *is* in Romania, jackass. Oh, really? I must apologize- my Eastern Europe Geography is not up to par. Terribly sorry.
  12. Romania So why don't you punctuate your sentences with "Bleh bleh!" or "I vant to suck your BLOOD!"? Oh, wait, sorry- that's Transylvania.
  13. Instead of Longsword, I think you meant Shortsword, the most useless and least used weapon in this game. I actually like the longsword more than the scimitar for aforementioned reasons.
  14. I believe that, according to Jagex's website advertising rules, you are to say NOTHING! Sucks, I know, but them's the breaks.
  15. I'm not sure if you've already noticed but you can use the free-teleport once per day. But you can still charge your lyre from anywhere if you have some raw sharks or something so I guess it's still alright. I realized that it's once daily, but how often do you need to go to your kingdom? Once per day. Tele there, fill the coffers, please the plebians, and tele back, without the business of POHs or raw fish.
  16. I think the problem is simply poor testing and Jagex's faulty logic. Of COURSE players were supposed to know that something described, by Jagex themselves, as a reward for a hard achievement diary is OBVIOUSLY bug abuse and we should all be glad that those who use it simply lost millions upon millions and were not banned.
  17. Or they're making new content. Though they DID remove the Hallows Eve music, and gave a fix to PvP worlds. And Stealing Creation should be updated in a week or two.
  18. Sorry if this has been posted before, but the lyre's free teleport is going to be REALLY handy- now you have a free, bankable teleport to the next best thing to your Kingdom! Huzzah!
  19. What outfit is that? Please tell me...? Please? I'd be glad to. Fire Cape (I have to use 99, no fire cape yet) Verac's Helm Master Wand Ahrim Robetop Dragonfire Shield Ahrim Robeskirt Dark Gloves Dragon Boots Seer's Ring You forgot the horribly expensive staff that is destroyed in an hour.
  20. He said that they are unable to accept other religions, and that therefore he would not be surprised if Saradominists killed followers of other gods, not that all Christians go around killing people. That said, this probably isn't the best path to go down. And it really wouldn't surprise me if there was some link, I've been suspicious of those Temple Knights for some time now, especially after some of their odd behaviour in the sea slug series. Really? All I noticed was that one guy being possessed by the slugs. I think the Temple Knights are a real force for good, to reiterate. I think it's the White Knights that are evil. Or at least seriously corrupt.
  21. "Yes, yes, there's a lot of good stuff here. A lot of good stuff. But... I have one concern..." This thing where players are capable of hitting six or so squares away with the spec, is that intentional? I mean, if other melee weapons are capable of the same, then this was intentional. If not, than this is a glitch/bug and Jagex will fix it in the next couple of weeks or next May.... I have a bit of experience with specials, but not enough to verify whether this is a glitch or not, so I'll let the experts judge.
  22. Let's not bring religion onto this forum, please?
  23. But FMA is cool and acceptable to other nerds and has a moderately large following. Runescape is abhorred by many nerds and is considered a little kids game, and for increasingly good reason. And they don't HAVE to show the logo on the shirt- it could be put, unobtrusively, on the inside tag.
  24. It's going to be a piece of expensive, outdated armor that will have stats that suck so badly vampires cringe. Though I have yet to do it (still gotta finish Mourning's End, Dream Mentor, and get the allotted quest points), from what players are saying, this quest was not all that difficult. It sounds like Recipe for Disaster was longer and the boss fights were not all that difficult. Indeed, the people who've had the most difficulty are those who lost the Elite Black Armor.
  25. The T-shirt is bleh- you could easily get one with a similar design from many other sources. Now, if it LOOKED like the dragon plate, with no logo, then it would be a bit cooler. And I've been tired of this advertising for a while- it's not like with Homestarrunner where ALL the money comes from merchandise.
