Great_one
as you know the stealing creations rewards were recently updated, all combat equipment when worn now gives double the exp as normaly. as most know by now, you may just wear one item to get this boost even though your time will expire faster. so if you can wear just one item and get double xp, what slot would it go in? the best answer to this is the helmet slot, why? because helmets give the least bonuses of course. so you could wear all normal armor with a slight drop in stats to get double xp. lets put this into some game changing situations. example #1: chinning, while previously it was posable to only get about 200k xp/hour while chinning, with wearing a ranger sc hat you can now get 390k xp/hour for the same price! but their is a down side, you will go through about 5(not tested) helms in that hour, but you will save 700k gp. now grant a good sc player will only get enough to charge three of these said helms an hour, and this is where you ask yourself, do i lke chinning or playing sc better? if you answered with the second option, you are also prone to save around 400-500k and hour instead of chinning. example #2: bursting...basicly the same as chinning, you get alot more bang for your bloods
The_Gabe
Isn't 5 helms=80 minutes of sc? It's pretty balanced imo. Three months banishment to 9gag is something i would never wish upon anybody, not even my worst enemy.
x_bow80
I never tried the mini game or had interest in it until every started saying that the rewards were amazing... You said that if you were using them for range, you would go through about 5 helms. Correct me if im wrong, but wouldn't that take way longer to get the helms than just to make the money back doing something else? wolfmon56
Training in my secret spot: I got (around) 10k per 5 minutes and got (around) 70k experience in 30 minutes. it took 30 minutes for it to go from 100% to 0% also. Takes awhile to get, so it is fast, but counting playing sc it even outs.
Assassin1357
I could manage at least 4-5 or more tools per hour before the update. Im not sure if scorings been changed or not. So if I did use 5 tools an hour and saved an hour of chinning that could be beneficial since I don't make 400-500k an hour which I would save by using the armor. Pballer007
Its more or less even. Even if it was perfectly even 60 mins of SC = 60 mins of training. Its still not even because you have to go to bank, get your gear, walk to your training place. This all takes time. I like the SC update alot anyways lol. meb
Well my plate and legs lasted me half an hour at Fire Giants getting me 25k controlled xp (so 75k total) in the process. It's not worth it for regular combat training, but if I ever decide to chin 99 Ranging or train my Crafting I think the clay equipment will come in really handy. For regular Slayer training it's not worth it though. Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks. Mylez
I think it balances out. Those players who want extra exp will ulitmatly have to put time into SC, so it's swings and rondabouts. :)

Krampell
I used the sc wizard hat when killing Rock lobsters with Ice barrage yesterday. I got around 600-800 xp each barrage, but after around 10 casts the hat went down 10% in charges, so you have to bring alot of them if you want it to be worth it. Ultimately chinning and bursting are about insane xp/hr for high costs, if you slow that xp down you're somewhat defeating the point. Hopefully jagex doesn't change this as it's not really overpowered for regular use and i don't see it as a huge difference maker for chinning/bursting, for one full void's been said to be the best for chinning. chaosoffar
Well, either jagex nerfed the xp from the helms or it's been overreported. Trying it out myself I came up with the helm only being good for an extra 16.5k roughly. So you'd need over 10 helms in your example. So even if you're really good and can manage 4 helms an hr(well close) that's still only 66k xp an hr, nowhere near chin lvls.
Kyrushi
I actually find it balanced sence you must play stealing to get the rewards, on the bad side, the xp limit makes them a bit frusterating =[ I use my clay for hammers to help with smithing. I cannot use the hammer as many times as i used to forcing me to play several games of stealing. So really, the dubble xp just makes up for the time you could've used on the skill without playing the game. Don't get me wrong, i still love the game and will continue to play it for the tools, but i think it was better before this update. 70+ all skills [|||||||||||||||||-------]

Ravenkana
For a lot of combat situations it takes much longer to get the items then the boost it gives. It's very nice for skilling, though.Well, for some skilling. From what I hear, the rewards are not useful for mining, woodcutting, fishing, or hunting. They're best used with expensive production skills like smithing or crafting. If the CORPORAL beast is this hard, imagine how hard a GENERAL or COLONEL beast would be. a corporal is not even an admirable rank in armies that use that ranking system. Yeah, it is a pking minigame, so any arguments anybody makes will probably be biased. The best way this will end :Everybody just says,"I'm not arguing with you anymore, goodbye."The worst way this will end: I don't really know, psychological warfare? Worldwide thermonuclear war? Pie eating contest?

Roberthree
recharge costs are the same on all pieces. use whatever you want. I barely touch my sacred clay helm/weapon. weapon for obvious reasons. Helm because I normally am killing dust devils for range and a slayer task for melee. Yesterday i used my Melee brawling gloves + sc armor and went to train on lessers in wildy. My gloves lasted me 22 minutes and my plate and legs dropped to 60%. I got 155k attack exp in 22 minutes...  Signature made by me ^^Proud owner of a Fire Cape!
brice1b3
hey if i got the morphic tool hunting net and trained hunting with it, would it only work with buterflies?
jords
I have done some tests with this and I found out that 1 morphic needle will make 112 green-leather bodies that is 336 green-leather used at level 80 crafting, I know you can make 1k bodies an hour with is going to take up 9 morphic needles, 9 morphic needles takes 2.5-3hours of stealing creations. So for 3 hours minigame for 1 hour crafting is not worth it. I have tested it on smithing too, I tested using 75 smithing I was making Addy arrowtips, I found out that 1 morphic hammer lasted 516 Addy bars and I use about 1k Addy abrs an hour so for 40 minutes of Stealing Creations I gained over 1 hour of smithing thus making Smithing shorter with this minigame. I also tested on construction I using 73 construction I found that you can make 49 oak lardars using the morphic hammer, that equates to 392 oak planks used you can do this 3-4 times an hour. However it takes 1 and half hours to get all the morphic hammers. 1 and half hours work for 1 hour construction I personally think is worth it as you save a lot more for only few extra hours work. My tests wont be 100% accurate because of the level gaps but I'm sure it will help those considering using Stealing Creations for gaining levels. Just a quick conclusion for those who didn't read above; Skill ---------- Method ----- --worth it? ----- Time taken to gain tool for 1 hour training --time saved Crafting ----- leather bodies ----no -------- 3 hours*---------------------------------losed 3 times Smithing ----- Arrow tips ------- yes ------- 40 minutes------------------------------- gained 3rd Construction - larders ---------- yes ------- 1 hour 30minutes*-----------------------lossed 3rd NB on time saved, Saved 3rd means instead of 60 hours it's 40 hours. Lossed 3 times means instead of 60 hours it's 180 hours. Lossed 3rd means instead of 60 hours it's 80 hours. Although I still feel it is worth the massive saving on Construction and also times given directly above are just examples it does not mean Crafting will take 180 hours it clearly wont take that long I gave 60 hour as an example because they maths is easy to work with. *Time rounded to nearest time some may be faster some may be slower. Thanks for reading.
