Also getting back into anime but I'm watching Attack on Titan and finding it pretty enjoyable. I tried to read the manga once I caught up on the episodes but the artist is kinda shitty. It was sold to me as something that subverts a lot of shitty shounen tropes and it's doing an alright job of that so far.

pain and grain - at first i was skepitical about how i could relate to a wheat farmer who lost everything he had and had to get it back through bloodshed but this film definitely proved that an unconventional cast of characters could still work inthe hands of an experience director 10/10

cod4s campaign was really good. they had the mix of story and gameplay just right for an FPS, and nothing they've done since has really compared to it. it might not have the same impact on you, having played all the sequels where they just rehash the same things that made cod4's campaign so popular over and over again, but think of it kinda like seinfeld.
