If you have Karamja Gloves #3, you can use the route I take.

Buy cheap iron ore on the GE (currently 80ish). Smelt. Sell bars for 200 each on the GE. If you use rings of forging, you turn 11900gp worth of ore into 28000gp worth of bars. 28000 - 11900 = 16100gp profit (before you deduct the cost of the ring). That's a fine profit! The xp could be better, though - that's 1750xp per ring (12.5 * 140).

I do not make blind guesses, EDIT but apparently I do make mistakes. I went and bought 100 hides/claws on the GE and did not get an egg. Apparently, I am mistaken. I could have sworn I had gotten an egg from Wyson...

Not really faster if you know how to kill the mole. But the problem with the nests from moleskins is that they often contain allotment seeds instead of tree seeds and eggs. The nests at MTK definitely have better loot. But yes, you can get eggs from the gardener's nests.

Mages are 1200+, which means you only need 3300 ish logs. I always ask at least 1200 per, and I always get it. Maybe not instantly, but certainly within 24 hours. So it will only take 84% as long to cut the mages as you are estimating (3333 / 4000). EDIT - the current range for mage logs on the GE is 1160-1284. Much depends on where you cut. If you have a mage tree planted in the Gnome Stronghold, then you have 2 mages right by the bank, with one of them being exclusively yours. I was getting 3 loads an hour easy at those mages during my run to 99. It all depends on how crowded it is where you cut. If you go and stand with the masses at Thormac's tower, well yeah of course your rate will drop.

Most useful? I'd list 3 things: (1) The Grand Exchange. Love it or hate it, it's hella useful. (2) Enchanted crossbow bolts, which turned dragons all over Gielinor into Lumbridge cows. (3) A specific shout-out for the bone bolt, which is so cheap it's obscene. Power-ranging is now in the reach of everyone.

It wouldn't surprise me if that last egg was a lizard egg of some sort (and I will be testing that theory at basilisks directly).

This is not against Jagex rules - its like a job; you do market research and you get some trivial amount of payment. But it against the board rules, as it's a referral link. Yeah, I get that part - if you log out on your grave, it disappears. I suppose I didn't explain myself well enough. Let's say I am in game, ranging metal dragons and my power blinks or goes out. I disconnect, and I die there after I have been disconnected, but before I am logged out on the inactivity timer. When does my clock start running? When I die or when I first log back on after I die because of a disconnection event?

I have been reading the Jagex Kbase, but I need some clarification. The help topic mentions a time your gravestone remains visible. Is that in game-time or real-time? That is, if a weather event knocks me off-line, does my time start running down immediately or when I log back in?

Specific comments I have: Same goes for fishing at Barbarian Village. I used to give away all my fly-fishing catch there. That's going away soon. We need a pillar or a store there. Ah, but how do you value the ess when you re-combine them? People who stockpile cheap regular ess could make a killing overnight if it suddenly becomes equal to pure ess in capability. You'd have to have some exchange ratio to make it fair.

When I popped in last night (about 8 hours ago), there were 190,000+ players online. :P Now, half may have ended their members last week. People could just be playing out their last hours. Only time will tell. By this time in January, we should have a better idea of how many people gave up members.

I have had great success buying cheap raw materials and "adding value." For instance, its easy to buy logs in the GE, plank them and sell back for a few hundred in profit per log. Cutting your own is more profit. You can also buy bracelets of clay for 900 or so, mine 28 soft clay and sell them back for 240 each. That's over 5000 profit per load of clay.

The game will always display in 800 x 600 resolution. You can only change your own settings to make that 800 x 600 window either fill the screen or take up some fraction of your screen real estate.

Skillful merchants are making millions off the Grand Exchange, like I predicted beforehand. Of course, you wouldn't know. You tell 'em. People are whinging all over about how pure ess prices will rise... so few can recognize this as a golden opportunity slapping them in the face. Or soft clay with bought bracelets, to name another. But hey, you can't sell iron knives for 40 each anymore, so the GE must be broken beyond repair. :lol:
