  1. Familiar with this message? Thanks to ImageShack for Free Image Hosting They are a royal P.I.T.A. when you are powerfishing. Is there any way to disable these with the new chat features?
  2. * BTW, Selig was in Washington talking to George Mitchell (the steroids investigator) tonight. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2965348 Can't wait for the day the BALCO testimony is unsealed and they strike the record.
  3. To get more specific, Davey has your wrench.
  4. I do like the bigger chat window - that was long overdue. But the clan features really don't apply to me.
  5. If you are perm muted, can you chat to people on your friends list? Clan chat should behave exactly the same.

The easy way around this is to find what you want in Wikipedia, scroll to the bottom of the page and use the External Links as sources. 8-)
  7. There were special circumstances, though. The Soviet delegate was boycotting to protest a different issue. The Chinese seat was controlled by the ROC (Taiwan). The US won the vote because the Soviets weren't there to veto it and no one else wanted to. Thus, the UN went to war in Korea. That would never happen again in a million years.
  8. The poll isn't really valid as long as all the answers are pre-filled.
  9. The Indian arsenal is estimated at 30 - 35 warheads. Pakistan's hoard is similar. Nuclear Weapons - India Nuclear Weapons - Pakistan There is no "button" to push here, the Pakistanis keep their weapons disassembled and India has disassembled components also. These two contries have a history of fighting, so disassembled arsenals is probably a good thing.
  10. This shop is so out of the way... Why not move it to the other side of Falador, nearer to the Guild entrance? That way, people going between the Guild and bank could sell their gems as they passed by. The Gem Trader in Al Kharid gets lots of business because of where he is, between the Chasm and bank. Location, location, location...
  11. I'd support this. Since we seem to be in the 1800s in some portions of Runescape (incandescent light orbs), I don't see the harm. The medieval aura is shot anyways.
  12. The Party Room is not northeast of Falador, as the Jagex site says. Rather, it is due east of the Gardener's house, inside the city walls.
  13. Crisis Over - I am in.
  14. Well.... are you? http://www.anesi.com/fscale.htm My score: 3.1 (You are disciplined but tolerant; a true American.)
  15. I personally don't think it was scamming. The Jagex KBase says that the gloves will get you better deals at Karamja shops. People selling maples there were just getting the rewards from the Karamja achievement diary. It's not like it was a high-level perk; the lowest level gloves got you the better prices (http://www.runescape.com/kbase/viewarti ... cle_id=169) People just figured out how to turn it into a cash cow and Jagex intervened.
  16. I am not selling nearly as many rune hatchets now, so it's costing me money. But I am on dial-up and I hated that axe head event. It hurts too many real players.
  17. It was a well-kept secret... but when topics like this appear, then the cat is let out of the bag. =D>
  18. Now I can buy a dragon axe without fear - people like me (on dialup) hated that axe head event.
  19. Edge bank - never crowded like Draynor is.
  20. Well, at least Jagex did finally fix PC... even if it was too late... kind of like closing the barn door after the cows had gotten out  The real tragedy is my axe handle collection... all gone... :boohoo:
  21. Yes, but forums and friendslist are also down. Woot - now they are both back.
  22. Televisions are different from monitors in one important aspect: A computer monitor is laid out like a checkerboard. There are sharp rows and columns; say 1024 x 768. So vertical lines are always sharp. Television is different (at least, old televisions are). The screen is set up like a honeycomb; there is no way to draw a sharp thin vertical line on a television. Look at your TV with a magnifying glass and you will see what I mean. So if you intend to use your TV as a computer monitor, you will likely be disappointed. Now new HDTV monitors are like computer monitors - laid out in a checkerboard. So if you have a new TV, what you are wanting to do looks a lot better.

My mom had hers cut out - she stayed in bed for 3 days afterwards. The dentist also gave her prescription pain killers; I forget the name. Wisdom teeth removal is no fun, but you should live through it.
  24. Trolls, trolls and more trolls. Several quests also use the area.
  25. Razmire's store buys items for the high alch price (if he doesn't have it in stock). So if you get an addy 2h from a chest and you sell it to Raz, you get 3840 coins, without having to spend the money on a nat. You get a mix of mith, addy and rune items from the chests, along with other loot (level 3 clues from some). Fine cloth was also a good item back in the day, but I think the demand for it has dropped.
