What do you need crafting for in Lunar Diplomacy?
During Lunar Diplomacy, you craft the Lunar clothes from Suqha hides. You're only allowed to craft each part of the Lunar clothes once during the quest, and you cannot craft the Lunar clothes after the quest. If you ever lose your Lunar clothes in part or in whole, then the only way to get them back is to buy them from the Oneiromancer. The cost is similar to the Blue Mystic set from the Wizard's Guild. Since you can only do this once and only during the quest, there was no reason to add Lunar clothes into the in-game Crafting guide.

Pyramid Plunder or Sorceress's Garden?
Pyramid Plunder is also a much more straight forward way to train especially if you're terrible at timing the movements of the elemental guards. I'm terrible at those timing "puzzles" so it's Pyramid Plunder if I had the choice. Completing "Contact!" along with "The Great Brain Robbery" would be the idea quest-combo. This way you don't waste inventory space with anti-poison potions by using a Holy Symbol and the Prayer Book to cure poison and the Sophanem bank instead of legging it to Nardah. You can also recharge your prayer points at the nearby Sophanem temple.

Guide to Desert Treasure
So far I've obtained the Blood and Smoke Diamonds. Here's what I did to defeat Dessous and Fareed: -= Dessous =- Using Canifis as your "homebase", equip yourself as follows. Equipment: Lunar clothes (or your best magic equipment) Runes and staff for about 50 Wind Blasts->Air staff, Death runes Two 4-dose Restore Prayer potions Teleport crystal (or any other teleport method in an emergency) Blessed pot filled with garlic and spiced blood 20 Monkfish (or your best food) Tactics: Turn on Protect from Melee since Dessous can hit 20s with his melee attack. Don't worry about his range or magic attack since it only hits 5s. Your food will keep you alive from his range/magic attack. When you're psyched up and ready for the fight, turn on Protect Melee and use the Blessed pot on his coffin. A small animation will occur, so start Wind Blasting him. He will continuously attack you with his range/magic attack and it will hit almost once every two seconds. Keep an eye on your health and heal whenever your health is around 30 or 35; you don't want to risk dying! Go back to Malak to get the Blood Diamond and bank it in the Canifis bank. -= Fareed =- Using Nardah as your "homebase", equip yourself as follows. Remember, you're in the desert so you'll always need waterskins. This part also assumes you've managed to get the Warm Key by lighting the ancient torches in the Smokey Well dungeon. Equipment: Lunar clothes (or your best magic equipment) Face mask-> buy from a slayer master Two 4-dose waterskins Runes for Water Blast-> Air staff, Water runes, Death runes Two 4-dose Restore Prayer potions Teleport crystal (or any other teleport method to bring you to a bank) 10 Monkfish, just in case (or your best food) Tactics: The fight with Fareed begins as soon as you step through the gate. Turn on Protect Melee and walk through the gate. Fareed will start attacking you so simply Water Blast him to oblivion! Your Water Blasts will make short work of him and you will not take a scratch with your Protect Melee activated. When you've killed Fareed, pick up the Smoke Diamond and bank it. It's quite a walk through the Smokey Well dungeon to Nardah, so teleport out to your nearest bank.

Elemental Workshops I and II were the first quests I did as a member.

Original RuneScape Names
Celes and Celestra were taken so I settled for Celestrana. I have a lvl-3 F2P account named Celestromo that I used to help my friend finish Shield of Arrav. Celestrana is female and Celestromo is male. I'm male in RL but I love messing with younger players' minds and get them confused. I'll do anything for a cheap laugh.

Weekly Poll: What's your favourite kind of RuneScape update?
Although I'm a member, I think the F2P crowd would be very happy if they were given the ability to make their own Chaos runes. So that means: 1. A new F2P quest -- What Lies Below 2. Pure essence after lvl-30 mining 3. Chaos talisman and tiara If these three items were released into the F2 crowd, we would have very happy players. This would probably change the face of RS economy and most likely see way more autoers mining Pure Ess. Personally I hate mining essence to train RC but I wouldn't mind if the price of p-ess drop from 100gp to 50gp each.

Massive increase in players training agility?
The Penguin course is out in the middle of nowhere, meanwhile the Dorgesh-Kaan course is a short walk from Lumbridge and even reachable via the Fairy Rings. When I was going through the Penguin course for "Cold War", I found it was very non-intuitive. Maybe it's just me.

Blood rcing, follow on from mep2??
The writers at Jagex seem to rarely write themselves into a corner such that they cannot continue a certain storyline, regardless of how much time has passed since the last installment of a story sequence. In my opinion, the Mourner's storyline has been concluded according to the conversation that you have at the end with Arianwyn. To remind those who have completed MEP2 a long long time ago, Arianwyn said the Mourners -- or the Death Guards from the quest -- won't go into the Underground Pass and you've also sealed the entrance to the Light Temple. I agree with many others on this thread in that the Blood Altar will be introduced through the Myreque storyline. After In Aid of the Myreque, there are lots of loose ends and plenty of black space to further expand the Sanguinesti region. Some of you may or may have not noticed but the wall east of the Sanguinesti Myreque hideout entrance is broken and is blocked with metal bars (maybe rebar?). This broken wall is a potential quest start point to unlock the Blood Altar. I'll try to post a picture if I ever decide to go back into the Meiyerditch. One more bit of evidence that Jagex has the Blood Altar in the works is the Blood Altar portal in the Runecrafting Abyssal space. When you try to use this portal, you get the message "You're blocked by an unseen force" or something to that effect. If I'm not mistaken, there's a similar portal for the Soul Altar.

Apology for a terrible suggestion
Thanks everyone. :D I'm glad everybody who has posted so far are so positive and encouraging. If you're interested, here's one of my better ideas: Make A Quest: "Elemental Workshop III" I'm still working on this idea and expanding it. Hopefully some of the older and more serious quests can give me some input to make this a challenging quest.

Apology for a terrible suggestion
Hi, For those of you I inadvertently offended with my terrible suggestion, I apologize profusely.   "Bounty Hunter" skill -- Discuss Sometimes a person has an awesome idea that tons of people support, sometimes a person has a terrible idea and tons of people flame. Unfortunately, my idea had far more flamers than supporters and in retrospect, I understand why this was so. The suggestion singled out a group of people -- namely, people with black marks -- and this would ruin the game for a huge number of people. To the people with black marks, I apologize and I hope the marks that you did not deserve are removed as quickly as possible. Happy 'Scaping.

Rule 2 Change: Should Luring be alloud?
I've made around 60M Staking since I got hacked, and then I had 220M Cash, and two Party Hats, Red and White. Roughly 500M? Which I made from staking. Absolutely nothing wrong with staking at the Duel Arena. AND there's nothing wrong with using your skills strategically and being familiar with combat tactics. If a player has a premeditated motive to tell another player to go to a specific place in order to kill them for their own gain, then in real-life thats can be called "premeditated homicide" or "homicide with the intent to kill". (Ok, for all the people who are lawyers or have a lawyer in the family, are in law enforcement or have a family in law enforcement, I may be using the incorrect term as I am not a lawyer nor in law enforcement.) Runescape should be no different. People who purposely tell a player to go somewhere so that they can be killed for their own gain are luring. If you're sitting in the wilderness, waiting for somebody to walk by so you can ambush them, go for it. Ambushing another player is no problem since you didn't intend to kill that specific player because you're treating all targets as equal "prey".

What do YOU think the Easter event will be?(UPDATED)
Egg Launcher. Similar to the colored frog launcher from Mourning's End Part 1. You can make your own colored eggs by just using dye on an egg. Fire away!

What do YOU think the Easter event will be?(UPDATED)
Easter Island eh? How about an Easter Island Head for your house?

Mentality of a lurer
Yes, I know that he's supporting luring. If lurers are taking out other lurers, then I don't really see a problem.

Mentality of a lurer
Wow! I'm glad to see that you're doing something constructive about lurers instead of complaining and whining about them. Awesome!

=-=-Monkey Madness Sequal?-=-=
You have the quest sequence reversed. "The Eyes of Glouphrie" came before "Monkey Madness". march 2005: monkey madness released somewhere in september-december 2006: eyes of glouphry released monkey madness has been around a LOT longer then eyes Ok so I haven't been playing long enough to know about the quest release dates. What I meant was the story sequence. "The Eyes of Glouphrie" felt like it should go before "Monkey Madness" aka a prequel. Can Glough be a decendent of Glouphrie?

A game - The direction
So true, although I don't have and I think I'll never own 12M gp during my RS "career". I don't merchant but I have reasonable enough skills that if I spend enough time training, I can make some money, which is a good by-product for my efforts. I'm in favor of the make-stuff-and-high-alch money making and skill training method.

what is your favorite skill and why
Says guy with no 99s.. Oh yeah, I like magic, combat skills, prayer and slayer the most. \ On the contrary Lobbytrio. I believe Darkmagic1337 meant that cooking is an easy skill to level up to 99 relative to say smithing; cooking doesn't take as much effort in comparision to some of the other skills. Just fish and cook your catch, use the Cooking Gauntlets from the "Family Crest" quest and you're well on your way. Also, brew and drink some Chef's Delight for good measure.

~!~ If Runescape had a sky... ~!~
I don't think a sky would be difficult to create. It can be a flat, animated image on a background layer that replaces the black when you move your camera angle to the ground view instead of the top-down view where I'd imagine most players use. Just don't suggest atmospheric effects like fog or rain. I don't think the 3D Java API was designed to have that in mind. Then again, I'm sure the software wizards at Jagex can figure that out. :-k

Runescape Exposed - Article
Wouldn't that mean everything has a negative aspect though? Define everything? It's just that when being on the internet, it's easy to be exposed to "harmful" things. The whole purpose of the internet is that it's "open". You can expect positive as well as negative things from that. Educating children about the dangers of internet and letting them mature more first is better than blaming online games for being not safe for children. It's simply something that can never be solved. The internet, TV, other games, real life current events like the WAR? Well said to everyone. There are more traumatizing things in the world than a game. Explaining how you should behave on the Internet and how to deal with "cyber bullies" and other negativity that the Internet brings is easy compared to trying to explain why there is war and starving children in parts of the world.

have the noobs tried to frame you too???
If the offender happens to have "Accept Aid" on, teleother him to some far off place like Waterbirth Island. Somebody suggested this on another thread. Can't remember who so I can't provide a quote but I just love this idea. EDIT: Oops, I just read the Lunar spells guide and the person will have to accept the teleport. I guess just teleother the guy to somewhere else.

a possible actual use for the food satchals from ToL ?
These food satchels are dropped fairy common. I usually go to ToL to stock up on seconds (eye of newt, unicorn horn, red spider eggs). I believe each satchel holds the same food: banana, triangle sandwich, cake. I don't understand why people make a fuss over the colors.

What helps you work hard?
Followed by "But you can eat Sharks and lobsters in one go! So aim for them instead!" Sharks and lobsters are smaller than elephants, so sure, why not. To bring my quote into context, you can't tackle a giant task ("...eat an elephant...") all at once. You have to break the task down to smaller, more managable tasks ("...one small bite at a time.") and thus your goal becomes more achievable.
