  1. My summoning seconds ended up being for something I don't have the level for and dreadfowls. Something I'm ridiculously high level for and am best not wasting the time making. (Why oh why couldn't I have gotten something useful like snakeskins? I currently need those.) Oh hey, guess I read that somewhere. Sources can't always be correct ;)
  2. Vulxai, it was switched to Varrock back when Jagex decided to make Draynor, Lumbridge, and Varrock more friendly to lower levels. So they decided to move the Air Altar just west of Varrock West Bank. And this is understandable, since when one little thing gets changed, it means that many guides end up needing a tweak. By chance, could you post a link of the specific guide, since you weren't all that specific? I'm sure that would end up helping out the Crew a lot.
  3. For teleporting use, I'd find Brimhaven to be the best location. However, I use Port Sarim, but not for teleporting, as I don't really need the extra tree. I only have it there, as it's very close to Cabbage Port/Draynor bank, and I just replant it as soon it's done growing. I get enough seeds from MTK to keep the process going. Easy ~20k xp :) And Calquats are worth it. A great amount of experience, for not that much money. Do it, and make sure to have the payment (8 poison ivy berries). And speaking of payments, make sure to gather the payment for your Spirit Tree. It's worth the extra time to gather the materials in order to make sure it survives. It's a lot of Farming xp :D
  4. Yes, I'm sure that the Oo'glog pool effect will get changed one of these days, however, at the current moment it works ;) But also, I think that it would be far to difficult to include a drop log from the box. As far as I know, you can be given any two Summoning seconds (assuming you have the level for it to be used), which, last time I looked, was mentioned in the guide. However, it might be useful to mention the price range of the ingredients that are given out, which is commonly 50-150k. With a drop log, it would just be listing all of the seconds, and researching the number of items you can get, which would take a very long time to do so.
  5. Got 93 Fishing today, and almost 87 Mining, will get that tomorrow. Decided that while mining, I will also be superheating my gold, as to get cheap and fast smithing xp. I consider this fast, since it really is just me getting smithing xp while mining at nearly the same rate. Also... Dun dun dun, I sold my purple phat... I sort of miss it, but at the same time, I don't at all. Anyways, with it, I'm up to about 413m cash and also got a Focus Sight and a Hexcrest as well, to make a full slayer helmet. Yay. My next 99s will be a mixture of Mining, Fishing, and Hunter, hopefully... Trying to knock the gathering skills out of the way, and getting my money up. Then I'll focus solely on Agility, Slayer, and Runecrafting. And then finally the buyables.
  6. From my experience, getting a positive or negative effect from Evil Stews both have the same chance. Of course though, getting higher levels boosted or lowered have a difference chance though.
  7. Rocktails are presumed to be very good, since you get a decent amount of experience (about 35-40k xp/hr) as well as decent profit, at about 2200-2300 each now. However, if you want speed, without dropping, then you might want to consider Shilo powerfishing. And as lots of other people previously mentioned with Rocktails, using a Granite Lobster or Ibis to help speed things up, as well as fishing in w84 and wearing a bit of armor with preferably an Enhanced Excalibur to heal hp if you lose any. And buy your Living Minerals. Enjoy fishing!
  8. Around 80k with the Crystal Saw. Would be 15-20k xp less without I believe. Possibly a bit more actually.
  9. It does not revert, it is just a normal saw when using it with Sawmill training. However, I disagree with what Zaaps said. I know for sure that is is twice the experience of actually cutting planks. But I'm not sure if it is faster or not. So use a Crystal Saw if you have it, no doubt about it. The experience difference per hour will probably be ~15-20k xp, so it is worth it. When I tested Sawmill training out, I got around 80k xp/hr at 96 Woodcutting.
  10. Mousekeys have actually sped up my Runecrafting by about 200-300 essence per hour. Just depositing and withdrawing from bank. Most people do not use mousekeys to withdraw from pouches, as it's pretty easy. My best essence/hour rates are ~3,450 ess/hr with Graahk, ~2950-3000 ess/hr through Abyss using all pouches and familiar. Haven't tested out Astrals. But, do a combination of Deaths and Bloods, whichever is closer when you enter the Abyss, and then do Astrals at 82.
  11. Why thank you :D nub stfu ihu omfg go dai I LOVE YOU OMFG MARRY ME PLEASE. Thanks broskiemcbroster bro, grats on 99 Con :D Like Oaks  Congrats Cod on getting Level 99 Woodcutting!! Welcome to the Club  =D> Hehe, I'm not fond of the club, but I'm glad to be in now :D
  12. Congratulations Saru, I know you've been wanting this for so long :D Now spend some time doing something fun, without grinding :)
  13. While studying tonight, finally leveled up 99 Woodcutting. What a simple skill :P Took me longer than I had expected, but whatever, got it nonetheless. 12/24 99s, 2259/2376 total
  14. Oh I got 98 Woodcutting a little while ago, and will get 99 today :D
  15. Ended up getting close to 650k wc xp today because I stayed up late working on homework :( Oh well, less than 300k to 98 Woodcutting.
  16. It draws it's information automatically from the Grand Exchange as soon as it updates. Maybe the reason fruit bat pouches have the same profit is because they really do - did you check the Runescape Database to make sure? Well I did just now and it is in fact correct -.-. Actually, it doesn't auto-update  And Cod, Wtf? 4k an hour with kyatt? Mousekeys make banking incredibly faster.
  17. Although this isn't an item to be added to the calculator, it is probably a good idea to add Curses to the calculator. My recommendations would be to add Leech Strength (Initial) and Leech Strength (Final), with 5% and 10% bonuses respectively. Also, Turmoil (Initial) and Turmoil (Final), with 23% and 33% bonuses respectively (but up to 9 levels added for the 33% bonus). I wouldn't be surprised if this has already been taken into consideration, but I noticed it wasn't on the calculator, so I thought I would mention it. [crew response: Per your suggestion we have added the Leech Strength curse to the list of prayers. Unfortunately, we cannot add the Turmoil curse as there is no accurate way to factor it in. We also added the Leech info to the Ranged max hit calc. Thanks for your post.] [additional crew response: Just a heads up - Turmoil has since been added as of May 27, 2010]
  18. How are you RCing your natures? Abyss or Graahk? Because with Graahk, you can get over 6k nats per hour. My best has been 6,832 natures in an hour. :D
  19. You should add in Belladonna as well. If you collect them, they will enable a bit of herblore xp (at 82) with quite a bit of profit. I calculated 55 will give >10k xp with 181k profit or something. So do it. Plus the experience adds up.
  20. ya but ima pro nolife 99 wc nao so dun even wery Getting back into Woodcutting, and trying to merch, but not doing so hot lately >.< oh well, will start fresh tomorrow and hope for the best. Also trying to do more herb runs, as I haven't been doing it much in the past. That way I can ensure a bit more profit, and some herblore xp :)
  21. Been spending a bit of money lately, but all in good taste. Bought a Berserker Ring because... I wanted it. Hah, and then I bought 90 Smithing with Addy bars from 88. So, today I spent my day watching the Superbowl and smithing Addy Plates, and ended up with 90 Smithing! 21/24 skills are 90+ now :D And all my buyable skills are 90+. So, I will be getting 98 and 99 Woodcutting next, while throwing in a bit of Stealing Creation every so often. I decided to use Stealing Creation from 90-99 Smithing, as it'll be about 4 hours longer overall, but, it will save me 52m. So I'm down for that. I'll need 120 hammers, approximately, and I will be gathering them every so often until Summer, which is when I will be maxing out my buyable skills. So for now, 99 Woodcutting coming up, continuing to merch, and Stealing Creation every so often. After 99 Woodcutting, I will be getting 90 Mining, and possibly 99 if I continue to enjoy it, and possibly Fishing in there too. We will see how things go. I will also eventually be getting 90 Agility and Hunter to finish up my 90 skills. 2257/2376
  22. My suggestion, trying out a method similar to that of which has already been posted, and test things out. You'll learn what to bring, what not to bring, etc. And the more experience at it you get, the more you'll be able to figure out how to minimize your supplies for each chest. However, a great way to use a Black Salamander at Barrows, which is what I do, is to Barrage (or some sort of freezing/snaring spell) the MELEE brothers, and stand diagonally from them, and you'll be able to attack them without being attacked back. A great way to reduce prayer and food consumption. I usually end up doing 9 chests on 2 prayer pots and ~10 pizzas. I could do more, but, meh. Anyways, good luck with Barrowing, it's a lot of fun :D try things out, and adjust to your preference.
  23. With the run energy update, you can RC through the Abyss in hides without using Energy Potions :) By the way, heeeeey! :D I finally got 91 Runecrafting! Hah, well, technically 92 as well... It's quite fun :P
