And here's what I think is the difference between legal and unlegal. If you press the mouse button (or the 5 and + button) as fast you can for cleaning, then it's legal, and just clicking skills. But if you hold in a button, and that counts as a lot of repeated clicks, that would be against the rules. In the gray zone, but still against the rules. And to be even more specific: If you are to hold down a button while typing, such as holding down a certain letter, you'll notice that the letters will be typed, but only at a certain rate. This is essentially what's being done in the video, HOWEVER, it is being done by programming the mouse, while holding down the button, to click at a rate of 9000x the normal rate. To me, this is the part that sounds fishy to me. Also, while watching the video a few times, I was not under the impression that the video maker was moving his mouse, but either had something that was programmed to move in a certain way, or was using mousekeys to jump to each column. Remember, he was able to move over all 28 herbs (although, not entirely sure, but looked like he only did 24 herbs per inventory) within 0.9 seconds apparently, and doing it accurately, as to not miss one. So, overall it sounds a bit fishy to me. But I still am 100% sure that the mouse is perfectly legal, however, the way it's being used makes it seem like there's more than meets the eye. And also, as atestarossa mentioned about the video by spiritgerm, which I posted earlier this in thread, the same thing is being done, but in a different fashion. He is doing the same thing to hold down a button/key on the mouse, which allows to click constantly. However, it is clear that he is manually moving his mouse around, and is not using the 9000x click rate, and most probably a 1x click rate. This seems perfectly legal to me.

they will still work, they just won't receive the full benefit of the 2.7x multiplier so gold gauntlets give a 2.5x bonus so for the first hour you'll still receive 2.7x but after that you'll only receive 2.5x, something like that Wrong. As confirmed in the QA about it they will not work. As with all other xp boosters that do not work they IGNORE the boost and look instead to the bonus weekend xp. So you'll start at 2.7x normal gold xp and go down to 1.1x normal gold xp regardless of gauntlets or not Correct. We won't be seeing the use of Gauntlets, SC, BA Horn, or anything of the sort. Even the 1.1x overrides all items that give bonus xp. However, if you happen to use a SC tool, it won't degrade.

Temple Trek/Burgh de Rott Ramble correction
Codguy replied to Sister Nicci's topic in Completed Website Corrections
Well, I'm actually curious if this is a bug. I've never experienced this before. And you just said that it's only happened that one time (if I'm correct by your implications) and have tried other times to see if the Undead Lumberjacks would spawn on that event, and never did (except for that time). If that's correct, that it seems more like a bug/glitch in the Activity, rather than something that is supposed to happen. If you encounter it again, please tell us. This would be interesting if this proves not to be a bug/glitch. -
Ah, ZMI. Yes, it should give the bonus xp during the weekend. There's no reason for it not to. And for xp/hour... Well, it depends on a lot of things. Your concentration, speed of RCing, mousekeys or not, RC level, full bank or not, and pouches. From 85-91 RC, without mousekeys, I got about 55k xp/hour, which you can view how I did it through my . With mousekeys, I wouldn't be surprised if I could get close to 60k xp/hour. There are of course other guides on how to do it efficiently, but it's one I've personally made, so I can vouch for it :P However, most people tell me that they get around 40k xp/hour around level 80, which seems like a decent average for most people. So 40-45k xp maybe.

I'd love to be able to attend this. But at the same time, odds of winning are slim to none. So I'm just going to ignore it lol :P

As mentioned by Olly, it seems as if the video is showing unfair gaming by use of a macro. I'm unaware of how to program something that can make an action, such as cleaning an inventory of herbs or dropping an inventory of items in 0.9 seconds. However, the thought behind using a high tech gaming mouse to use programmable buttons and keys is legit, and is used by a lot of high leveled players. I will probably be making the G5 mouse as my next mouse, for more of a gamer's perspective. However, for a video that shows how cleaning herbs with the use of mousekeys/mouse should look like, the first few minutes of this video will demonstrate it. http://www.youtube.com/user/spiritgerm#p/u/4/gryRTDTfE4o It's clearly showing a different action in this video. Anyways, the mouse should be legal to use, however, I believe in the video posted by the OP, there is some illegal play involved. That is at least my opinion, and I hope that Jagex at least looks into the video a little bit more.

Impetuous Impulses Update data?
Codguy replied to noloafing1's topic in Completed Website Corrections
Isn't that the item rumored to create the gree gree of the gorilla with the blue face? Pure speculation here of course. @SportGuy - I'm not familiar with Impetuous Impulses from before the update. I never really did it. You are totally correct! I used it for another greegree and it does create the gorilla with the blue face...not a rumor after all! thanks for your help! Do you happen to have a picture of any of this? And if you made the Gree Gree, could you take a picture of this for us? It would help us out a lot! -
lordkafei, I see what you mean. I believe something didn't completely get converted when switching all the HP -> LP and ratios, etc. I've noticed there have been some other monsters in the Bestiary Database that have incorrect ratios as well. So we'll be looking into this and see what we can do. Obviously, the ratios should all be 10x what they used to be, since LP is HPx10, while the level of the monsters have stayed the same. So, as I've said, we'll be looking into this. Thanks for noticing this, because of your submission, we've noticed other monsters that have ratios that are incorrect. I'll be leaving this open until we fix the problem, just in case anything comes up. -Codguy

Thank you for your concern jw125. We've noticed that some of the ratios are incorrect in the Bestiary Database, and we're currently looking into it. However, I would like to ask. What do you mean about moving the decimal point to the left? An example would be the Living Rock Patriarch: Level of 200, with 4,000 Life Points. This would make the ratio as 4,000/200 to be 20. So by moving the decimal point to the left by 1 digit, that would make the ratio 2. Is this what you're implying? Because currently, as far as I can tell, the ratios that are incorrect, are the ones that are still HP/level, rather than the LP/level that we've been converting. -Codguy

This is correct. However, thanks for your concern about the item 1337inside, and trying to give us the best information possible! I will be locking this thread since everything is already solved. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to PM me. -Codguy

You can also kill the Saradomin Spiritual Warriors in the main area, as they will attack Zamorak monsters, and be attacked as well, which will mean less damage taken. Not saying it's necessarily the fastest, but it's something to consider.

It's pretty easy to buy them at max on the GE if you get your offer in early. But other than that, the above options are probably the best ways. I usually pick up a few every time I do a WFS trip as well. So lots of Crimsons + profit + water talismans = good.

Just for another person's opinion, this noob's response is pretty accurate :D

Thanks for resubmitting about the Ivandis Flail. We'll look into this ourselves just to confirm, and I will do so myself if I have some time today.

As aspeeder mentioned, the bonus xp from the gold gauntlets won't work, so with the bonus xp, your best bet will be Mithril Platebodies. There really isn't any other viable option at your level. If you don't have much money, then you could do iron platebodies... However, it's just not worth to do something that low of xp/hour with such a great xp boost. So in my opinion, it's either Mith Platebodies or something besides Smithing.

Should be about 6 minutes per dose, and make sure to pot when you see the warning message. I died because I wasn't paying attention to my chat box yesterday (no worries, got back without a problem and finished the task without banking). Berserker should not work because, as stated above, the potion is not boosting a stat.

The mousekeys are specifically set to deposit pouches and withdraw seconds. I can't remember if they worked for making the pouches as well at the obelisk, I'll have to check if the jump will get to the right option when at the obelisk.
-
Ready for it?! 3,600 pouches per hour for me. But if you're fast, 3k is really good still, so expect 3k and lower. I only can achieve 3,600 pouches at maximum speed with mousekeys at about 25 seconds per trip to the obelisk, and paying 100% attention of course. Remember, every second counts when it comes down to 25-30 seconds per trip.

Swap the 500 Swamp Titans with the 1200 Granite Lobs, and then it seems about right. Also do Talon Beasts first.
-
Just to further confirm, after about 20 kc, you won't see any benefit. So only train there if you really want to train on those monsters... For some reason.

You're too noob for Blogscape.
