knives for fast xp, and no feathers, although i personally have always preferred arrows to train range, many people tell me knives are the fastest and cheapest way to go.

I have my def at 80, and it will probably stay there until 99 atk + 99 str simply because i have no real problem, and don't take a ton of damage. Probably when i start training slayer again, i will train def more, but it isn't all that important to me. Def doesn't automatically help you, people with 99 def and great armor can still get hit for a max whip/dds hit, but at 99 str you can hit numbers that you cannot at other levels, and attack means you hit every time, if not miss less. Def is probably one of the easier stats to train (whip can train def too :shock: ) but many people simply would rather hit higher, than be hit less. Who doesn't want to attempt to hit the RS max?

Why update construction when you can update rc (still missing blood and soul crafting after all this time) or other skills like firemaking (pointless skill?) or other skills that have gaps, and many other options that come right to mind. when you think of a new construction room, not much comes up, but for other skills, you have loads of things that could be made.

I used to play classic, but never really got into it like all my friends, thats why i don't have crazy money like they do from saving like 3 santas or such like that. I never really liked RS until RS2 was released, and still took me about a year to really get into playing. So i don't consider myself a veteran or anything like that, plus ive made and abandoned like 3 accounts before settling on an account with tons of numbers :| Now to me, a veteran is someone who has played the game loyally and hasn't quit really for long periods of time, and also does not break the rules, and is a good member of the runescape community.

My greatest moment has got to be when i got my firecape, even though tons of people told me it would be impossible to get now that the monster movements had been updated. Proved them wrong :P

multi logging is really pointless in my opinion, Why would someone be logged in on two accounts, when they only can play one at a time? unless you wanna stage like a fake DM or something like that, but thats kinda pointless.

:shock: NICE!! 92 slayer is sick! and the last levels should go by fast if you don't think about it much. GL 5/10 (remember, your only halfway :XD: )

i suggest just not playing right now, the worlds are basically all full, and they are extremely laggy SIDE NOTE: RSOF are down too, i seem to be getting a white screen atm. :-s

Fire cape truly is one cape that i will always love the most. And gratz also, but i beat ya to it *points to sig* but lets not brag, Jad is still going to be a monster i NEVER want to face again. And that oufit kicks my slayer outfit's hind-quarters :P 10/10

i tried boxing... went from 2m-100k then i got lucky and ended with 1.8m, and didn't want to risk anymore. Good job with those stakes, and hope you don't lose

dang, that is some really bad stuff right there. I kinda feel bad for that guy too, saying he doesn't like playing the game, but needs to to make a living, still, its against the rules

i would buy every barrows set, enough alchs for 99 mage, 10k barrage runes, full dragon, 100k cannonballs and possibly a santa if i have enough left over. If i still have money left, i would buy up sharks and use all of this to train slayer to 99, and 126 combat

yes, it is very hard, and considering that to get to jad, and beat him, each trip can cost upwards of 1m if you dont have all the supplies already, plus the right outfit etc. and, when it gets up to the 360s+ 90s/180s, it is where i had my most trouble. That and Jad can one-hit basically anyone

Actually, i just pretended i was fighting jad while watching the videos on you tube. while the person who films it has the pray menu open, i simply click on the correct prayers while watching jad's attacks, and learn how to differentiate from one to the other, and that is how i learned. For me, it also helped me get past the "freakout" that usually kills me during the jad fight, and before jad comes, its a good idea to pace yourself, and keep your self calm, as well as telling yourself you can do it. that is probably the hardest part, and from my recent experiences in the caves, any instance of a "pray glitch" is not there anymore. but, i would have liked to hear how you learned how to pray switch, if you dont mind me asking :D

your probably in deep trouble thou, after the 360s come, they may spawn faster than you can put on pray, so you might take a bit of damage before you get pray on, but no, the update should not affect your progress

Where do you get the information that pures, and i mean ALL pures even sell their gp for RL cash, and even if some did, it would probably be like .1% of the entire pure population, and pking/staking is only profitable if you know how to do it properly, and usually, the new stakers being made lack experience, and fail. Gold Farmers are people who intentionally play the game to sell their items/gp for RL cash. So, in conclusion, Pures are NOT the same as gold farmers. besides, what kind of gold farmer would spend hours on end training combat to enter a non-exact way to make money? I doubt they would when they could just start cutting yews for instant and exact profit.
