  1. MTK has 350%+ return ratios at 100%. You are still making a profit at 50%. I say dump around 4M there, rest on offers on pie dishes, addy arrowtips, green dhide at minimum and keep about half as cash. A very similar thread here: http://forum.tip.it/topic/267897-iminent-quitting-and-buying-rares/
  2. A new BTS! Let's go on the Announcements forum and see what Albosky, Kiara Kat and misterxman think about it. ... :( 1. "making it easier to get hunter supplies from the penguin areas" 2. Penguins are close to water 3. Aleck's hunter shop is close to water 4. OMG SWIMMING (or possibly a skill based around archaic water scooters :-k)
  3. I managed to buy some splitbark gauntlets today for a small alching/flipping profit. Splitbark, blue dhide and red dhide often dip way below their alch prices.
  4. A safe option would be to keep some of it as gp as a safeguard against deflation and invest some to combat inflation. Put some of the money on MTK and some on offers on pie dishes and other capped items on the GE. Green d'hides on min is good because green dragon bots are heavily outselling the tanner bots. Also, cooked sweetcorn should rise some day. If you try to snipe a rare, you can buy one dump item from a merch clan, put it on offer at max and when GE updates you will immediately see it from the GE screen. Although, I'm pretty sure there are a lot of people trying to make the instant 2b+ (not sure), so your chances of getting a half wine are pretty small.
  5. Yay for the small town of Nokia! Also, yay for the flash from the past.
  6. My way of going to the grocery store: 1.Take keys form the table 2.Place keys on the hat shelf / chair / floor while putting on shoes and jacket 3.Look for keys while wearing a warm jacket for five to ten minutes 4.Go to the store while sweating like a jogger Also, I thought that Brazilian footballers used their real names until I was 16. I once said "I wonder if those two are somehow related" about identical siblings. For some reason nobody waiting for the mass lecture to start said anything during that two second timespan, so about fifty people including the girls in question heard the remark.
  7. The efficient way: 62-94 wine 94-95 shark 95-99 rocktail The traditional / only fish way: 62-68 tuna 68-82 lobster 82-90 swordfish 90-94 monkfish 94-95 shark 95-99 rocktail
  8. -Tan hides -Buy baked potatoes and pats of butter, make potatoes with butter (these don't always sell easily) -Buy buckets/milk/cream and make pats of butter -Buy pie dishes and pastry dough and make pie shells. You can buy half meat/garden/fish pies for healing between training sessions at the same time since the pie dish is worth more than the half pie if you're making pie shells.
  9. Maybe it's because they are both Mahjarrat related. Azzanadra teaches you the anciet magiks and Sliske is thought to have given the Barrows brothers their powers. I'm also pretty sure that the Mahjarrat are the original necromancers according to the current lore. Dug up Pharaoh Queen Senliten's version of necromancing: "If certain parts of the separation (=mummification) process are performed out of order or upon a living victim, the victim will be caught in a state between living and death. They may also be bound to the will of a person who controls certain parts of the ritual or physical portions of the one so afflicted." So I guess the magick and the barrows effect just go against the part that is living while the onyx (e)'s go against the part that is dead ... or something.
  10. I'm just going to refer to this thread the next time somebody says we have too many old school threads. Also, JaGEx should end their newsposts like they used to. "Please may I ask that everyone tries this new system properly BEFORE commenting on it this time (e.g wait at least 24 hours before sending us feedback). Feedback from players who haven't actually used the system they are commenting on, is obviously utterly useless to us." Would there be a "We pay, we rant" riot?
  11. I should have just put check sample size. Sometimes the charm drop percentages have small sample sizes, so the percentages can be off. AZs have a sample size of 13,202, which is reasonable. Confidence level means how likely the the percentage range contains the true percentage, but on RSWiki it usually says 90% even when it should be more.
  12. RSWiki -> Desired Monster -> Charm Percentages -> Take average percentages -> Multiply by amount of monsters -> Check confidence range to evaluate accuracy 1800-1900 Golds 1500-1600 Blues 800-900 Crimsons 800-900 Greens
  13. [From RSWiki In the early days of Runescape Classic, there was only one type of pickaxe available, named simply Pickaxe. It looked like a Steel pickaxe and could not be equipped. When different types of pickaxes were released in May 2003, all Pickaxes held or in the bank became the Bronze pickaxes that are commonly found today. Here's the update for sleeping bags and pickaxes on the RS website http://services.runescape.com/m=news/newsitem.ws?id=95&allcat=true
  14. Bert updates after 23 hours and 40 minutes nowadays (down from 24 hours, updated in the update where Soul Wars was introduced). RSWiki also claims that Arhein takes the same amount of time to update, although idk where they got that time unless they timed it.
  15. Does anybody have any ideas on how high karambwan will go now that the price cap has been lifted? Also, should I try to sell my karambwan for something like water filled jugs or some other risings or should I hold on to them and sell on the GE when the price gets high? I have 11k raw and 5k cooked karambwan.
  16. ok but i only found 1 4 tanking and the setup was to over priced for me so can u give a set up plus invent that dont go over 1mill and perferbly i want to tank Killing snakes north of trouble brewing is combat related and only requires some method of curing poison every now and then. Just do that for 600k/hour and some farming until you can buy decent gear. Also, fletching can make a lot of money if you just keep an eye on the market. Dragon bolt making and rune xbow stringing are often 1M+ per hour (although to train for an hour you will have to invest 30M on the bolt tips or 20M to the unfinished crossbows).
  17. Is it possible to boost your herblore to make better potions? You could make a naturalist pot -> strong artisan pot -> 100ish smithing if it is. I know it wasn't possible when the skill was released though. Gorgonite spear and blood runes
  18. Three possibilities: 1.Dungeoneering is considered as a combat related skill like slayer 2.They haven't implemented shattered hearts yet and will do it when lamps and ToG start giving dung exp or whenever they have the time to. 3.The final award for shattered heart is somehow dungeoneering related.
  19. You can currently make over 1M/hour of crashing junk by making emerald/ruby/diamond amulets. 3M+ for diamond. You can make about 1,3k per hour of these. Idk if the gems are buyable though as there seems to be an odd peak in the middle of the crash atm. Usually there is no way to make more junk than regular gp though. Why don't you want to make 1m+ gp per hour instead?
  20. Fishing: Rocktails are 45k exp per hour and demand very little attention. About every fifth load I just watch my inventory get filled up over the course of 15 minutes. Cavefish and monkfish are both good choises to get to 90. With monkfish you wouldn't have to worry about finding safe spots monsters. Prayer: Unless you have a partyhat or some edible rares that you no longer want, then 99 prayer would probably be the slowest to get from these three as it requires a lot of moneymaking. Consitution, not HP :-P :Slayer, armoured zombies and soul wars are the only things I know of. You have access to a new slayer master now and you can do some of her tasks in a slayer-task-only dungeon. Also, idk how to say this, but it's now possible to change your rsn and the names of permabanned players are available... Not that there is anything wrong with your name. :D
  21. The tip.it main site has a good guide to new members. Since there are so many things that you could do (try new skills / open new areas / try members activities etc.) I'm going to just link to the guide as it offers a quick run down of the most common things people choose to do when they first get members.: http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=new_members_P2P_guide.htm Slayer offers a good way to train melee, ranged and magic while giving you variation in the monsters you kill. Also, since you listed prayer, you can go to west Yanille in world 31 to find people with altars in their house. Go inside their house and use dragon bones on their altar to receive 252 exp per bone. The RSOF (Runescape official forums) is a very popular forum and you will have to bump your topic by making a post on it every now and then to keep it on the first few pages of the subforum. Usually people will only look at the topics on the first few pages.
  22. http://www.runescoop.com/html/rs_MMServiceSinisterKeysVH.htm
  23. You can: - Run as many sinister keys as you can get from the GE - Make all the pie shells that you can manage to buy the pie dishes for - Farm herbs and limpwurt - Pick Papaya fruits and cactus spines - Buy battlestaves and unfinished broad bolts - Get your daily seaweed, pineapples, sand, pure essence and do MTK (raw fish and herbs) Although limited, all of these are over 1M per hour and the money will start stacking up after a while.
  24. Banking at Bounty Hunter with the games necklace would be quicker. I think using a war tortoise + food would give more kills per hour than a bunyip. This guide is good, but idk when it was last updated: http://forum.tip.it/topic/168906-a-draconic-guide-v1-4/
