    It seems that small rares are having this little buyout because people have dumped their herblore/xp weekend supplies and tt items and are looking to snag a rare with the new cash. I wouldn't expect the buyout to last too much longer, as all of that stuff is already crashing.

    grimy you forgot, c) your fighting an opponent that is hy/tribridding don't ever underestimate an extra 6 def in mage range and melee Wouldn't an onyx (i) be better than a berserker (i) if you're using a CR? Not unless your opponent has extremely high defence. I have a rapier and both rings, and I find myself using berserker on everything but miths and corp (when I use z spear instead of rapier anyways)

    My gear for 135 drags per trip without cannon. I slightly tweaked your setup and found the extreme def REALLY helps out if you sip it every 2 attk/str doses.

    As you prefer pvp, CLS would be the most useful. For the monster hunter and slayer, rapier is almost always better.

    Being a past ubuntu user myself, the learning curve isn't bad at all (and you can install it on your hard drive). Most of the basic applications have step-by-step installation instructions, and once you figure out how to manage the console, you're in pretty good shape.
