yes they have ruined a part of the game imo. and they should fix it with a big change to the way monsters drop items. i mean smithing would be completely fixed if no monster dropped rune anymore, and it was removed from tt's

Just rushing... uhh.. on top of all the void sets, torsos, and capes I've downed, I've dropped like 5 claws, like probably 10-20 whips, about 3-4 or so bandos sets, 2 ags, a dfs, etcetera... hm. It's at least 500m, wouldn't be suprised if it was 700m+. I KNOW I'm forgetting a LOT here. Hell wouldn't be suprised if it was over 1b. I have too much fun with this though :P you sir are a hero to the economy

Well i would rather have tight lipped updates than fan site and clan support w/o any updates.

The only thing that would make it not Lumbridge is the fact that the bridge doesn't have a few buildings by it :S Though the goblins are there. it is lumby, torn down goblin hut on one side, tutorial house, furnace other buildings on the other side. all brought together by the 2nd bridge in lumby spanning across.

it's about [bleep]ing time someone got on my side of the argument. I personally would kill for the old management back. Look at what got done last year compared to this year. hell! It was a big deal that they even apologized for when they took a week without updates to finish up rs hd, look at how many times we have had 2 weeks with only 1 update(or 2 really small piece of crap updates in 3 weeks). i personally hold a lot of blame on mmg, mod mark has been there this whole time and they were on the top of their game till mmg came and now he is changing everything to his liking and not the direction the game has been going for years. If giving up "fansite support" and lame picture teasers of updates that wont come out for 2 years to get my bts, postbag, and decent UPDATES back i am all for it. [bleep] mmg :evil:

Well for me i see capes as suggested goals to challenge myself. I started going for and got my quest cape in 4 days. I then(much later) got 99 cooking from 90 in 3 days. It wasn't for the cape so much as the challenging myself to get it done. but all in all some skill capes are more praised in my eyes, it has to do with: the look of the cape, the effort put in, and what type of person normally wears that cape. what i mean is that prize slayer more than rc because of the looks even though i find rc harder. I also prize a untrimmed fletching or cooking cape more than a str cape. why? because is someone has 99 cooking or fletching as their first cape they are most likely a newer member and i dont expect them to have 99 slayer or rc, but even though str is harder i find that people who get it as their first are obsessed with str and str only just trying to hit high, most of these people are younger and have no patience for skills or their 67 attack and 54 def level as it seems too.

the way to make bosses in runescape require more strategy would be by making it so soloing gave more of a reward than teaming. this would push more people to solo and that imo is much more difficult.
