  1. <*Runs into Saru's blog and trips over a large vase*> . . . oh, hello! Heh, didn't mean to break that vase. I'll buy you a new one, eh Saru? ~ Morning "Accidents happen . . . " rise333 ~
  2. oh god YES that would make max hit calculators so much easier to research and perfect I wouldn't be surprised if this was the case, and I'd be pretty happy if it was. Given the popularity of 99 strength and maxing, this would appease about 99% of the population.
  3. That has no relevance to Kalafai's post. Zaros is not the god of chaos. We don't know what he's the god of, exactly. The elder god, Jas, created the stone of Jas.
  4. High defense = armadyl. Low-mid defense = void. It depends on how high you can get your accuracy bonus in void, though. Extreme range pots and eagle eye (Soon to be the ranged piety) tip the scales a bit.
  5. You forgot claws + combat familiar + food > SGS + combat familiar I had a hard time on some tasks if I didn't use my EE for specs (that's with barrows armor, fire cape, 10% strength, and combat familiar) when I was lower leveled, but that was before Kuradal's dungeon (which means I was doing multi-combat tasks a LOT). I don't really know if he'd have the same problem I did back then, but if it can be done, claws + combat familiar + food would definitely be best.
  6. Considering that this update is being handled by Mod Chris L, I have no worries.
  7. If you're talking VERY long term, Arma is probably best.
  8. What Larryr did was amazing, to be sure. It must have been a lot of work to run her running company (puns, etc), but Phoenix definitely worked harder for his experience. The only significant change between now and then is the addition of ZMI and summoning, neither of which would've helped Larryr considering the way she/he did things.
  9. I really like the idea. It almost makes herblore seem like slayer. My only problem with it is the experience, which seems a bit exorbitant. As for rewards, I like that you get enough tokens every mission to buy two potions of that level, and I like that the hard missions give a little extra. It'd be cool to introduce items (wearable or otherwise) that aid players when they make potions, purchasable by tokens. All in all, I like it. Seems like a fun, cheap way to train herblore till 83, and gives an alternative to people who might not ever use extremes or overloads, so have no need to make them.
  10. I'm excited for this. It's one of those little things that's going to improve our daily Runescape experience. Like someone else said, crashing, corp beast, bosses, PKing, etc, are all going to be more . . . informational? I don't know what word to use, but it's a good word. It'll be easier to figure out what future bosses are doing to you, but it'll be a little sad to never have the "GWD Experience" again (teams finding new ways to kill the bosses more effectively, making huge profits for as long as they kept it secret or no one else discovered it, though I suppose that wasn't entirely damage-type related). All in all, I'm eager to see the update. Being a competitive player in it comes to slayer, MHing, and PVP, I imagine this would only help me.
  11. If you can sell the SGS for soul split, do it. That said, SGS + combat familiar > claws + healing familiar. If you need the SGS to use a combat familiar comfortably, you might want to get it. But spending the money on soul split would be infinitely better.
  12. String jewelery or hunter kits, yeah.
  13. That's the plan. I'll probably get 99 ranged by slaying (cannon and steel titan).
  14. SUPPORT!
  15. Yeah, onyx (i). It's a pretty big risk, though, so be careful.
  16. EDIT: D'oh, totally misread what you wrote. Revised response below. Melee gear has traditionally been the most expensive of the classes, so I feel it's appropriate. People sell their banks for Bandos, so imagine what they'd do for an even higher bonus? The ranged armor would definitely be the cheapest (just as ranged gear as always been) as it requires cheap supplies and fairly easy skills in comparison to the other two. The mage gear has the highest level requirements, so it'll be pretty expensive, but wont have as much demand as the melee gear, which requires pretty difficult levels, a large initial investment, and will be supported by what is essentially "Melee-scape." EDIT: @Saru: It's GORGONITES.
  17. Can't say I did. You should go through the thread and look at everyone's stats. There is a trend.
  18. Yeah, I agree with this. It would be pretty OP if the cap was raised anymore.
  19. Been really close to this for a while. all combat stats over 95 now.
  20. Lol, that's actually pretty perceptive of you.
  21. It's better than a geyser and is invaluable any time you use combat magic. Get it. It's also useful for bushes.
  22. Protect magic doesn't help against metal dragons. But yeah take a sip of antifire from now on. Prot melee alone= no difference anti-fire alone = reduction in damage taken anti-fire + Prot melee = 0 damage taken problemo solved? wat.
  23. You should expand on this. As it stands, you're basically just saying "lol HORSES@@@@@@@@" There's no substance. That said, I'm not interested in dual-wielding two rune shortswords.
