  1. I've always disliked doing clues, and I still do, but I feel that they're more worth it now, so . . . I'm trying.
  2. I'm kind of amazed that anyone could have missed the point of your post. Plagiarism -- internet or not -- is bad. I hope you find the support you need. Have you tried emailing the administrators of the newer sites and asking them to provide citations for their content? It's a worth a shot.
  3. It'll make you back more money than you spend on it, guaranteed. ;)
  4. still too little for bandos book, paying 3m for a mith defender :[ maybe like +7 str and +6 accuracy, still not better than rune defender but good enough for people debate about it and buy anyway Well DFS has +7 strength, so I don't think the book should, too, personally. I like the idea of moderate accuracy and lower strength but with a prayer bonus.
  5. IMO, +10 to ranged attack and defense for law book, +10 to magic attack and defense for ancient book, and +10 to all melees and +2 strength for bandos book would be good. Unholy book would still be useful for using multiple combat styles, and the new books would have niche uses. We need a non-chaotic, ranged-specific shield, and the book of law should've been it.
  6. I assume, then, that critiques coming from players who have done all of those things are perfectly valid?
  7. Cat staff provides unlimited cats (cat spellbook, feline barrage, string yarnball, teleother sphinx, Bob contact, etc).
  8. First time poster wants me to visit a strange site? Sounds legit to me.
  9. I don't see anything unique tbh ... just upgrated vestments. Some of the parts have higher prayer bonuses than anything else (might just be the wreath; CBF to look right now). All of the other 3A sets boasted at least one item that was best in its field for some time (coif, mage hat/ammy, kite). That's what I mean by unique bonuses. Kind of like how 3A ranged is a cross between Karil's and black d'hide.
  10. I would think that people who crash realize that they, too, can be crashed. BTW, people who crash typically have the means to prevent crashing, and maxed players with maxed gear tend not to crash each other, so . . . I guess that leaves you to crashing lower level crashers? Let me know if they exist.
  11. I REALLY want Bandos and Armadyl d'hide bodies. I hope they don't stay unbuyable for long, but they're actually useful for something, so . . .
  12. Mom: Take out the trash and mow the lawn@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ Obtaurian: [bleep] off mom I'm doing a 5:5 large with Saru and he'll sexually assault me if I log off now! like that amirite?
  13. A lot of the new rewards are useful for GWD if you don't have Armadyl or Bandos armor already. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the update. Still not a big fan of clues, though.
  14. 99 herblore (currently 88), 99 prayer (currently 95), 99 magic (97), 99 ranged (94), 99 smithing (low, L), and some boss hunting gear.
  15. It's much better and cheaper to use Ahrim's and a SW cape. You only need around +20 prayer for maximum effect. Everything after that is useless. 3A druidic is another ultra rare, ultra expensive cosmetic armor set with unique -- but useless -- bonuses.
  16. They definitely wont get banned. I have to wait till tonight to see if I got the bug, unfortunately. With my luck, it'll probably be fixed. <_< I did make 3m off of climbing boots, so I'm all out of karma points I suppose. EDIT: To the post above mine, I'll paste my reply from your locked thread: The new blessed d'hides and god books are pretty useful for GWD. Almost all previous TT items were mostly cosmetic, so I'm not surprised that these are, too. I wasn't expecting most of the items to be rehashes of former items, but I'm not upset about it. I think it's kind of cool, actually. 3rd age druidic looks pretty cool, too. No complaints. Like the other 3rd age sets, it has an item or two that has superior stats to previous items, but nothing game-breaking.
  17. Glad I'm not the only one that thinks that. All of these are either uneducated opinions with no basis or just sporadic thoughts you threw together in one post in hopes a lot of people would reply to get some sort of recognition you've been so desperate for. Thirded. The new blessed d'hides and god books are pretty useful for GWD. Almost all previous TT items were mostly cosmetic, so I'm not surprised that these are, too. 18. Volatile tool combined with an elite locator from MA, perhaps? :-k Would be an interesting way to train.
  19. Holy [cabbage] I did not think of that.
  20. This. Training gear to get maxed stats is cheap, and you don't NEED elite armor to MH effectively. People who argue that "crashing is bad because how r the low levels supposed to make munnyz?!" are delusional. The only expensive skills are prayer and herblore. If you have maxed melee, 99 ranged, a chaotic weapon, a high summoning level, and some cheap gear, you can make a lot of money at TDs without 95 prayer or extremes. Hell, you can even make a lot of money at Barrows. Need to max combat? Go do some slayer. When you're done you'll be very close to maxed and most likely have the money for a high prayer or herblore level. When done right, slayer is the best way to train combat. It will also teach you about low-scale crashing and competition.
  21. A lot of the rewards look really cool. I want a fury kit and armadyl d'hide. Glad to see that 3A druidic is pretty much all looks and no stats (though I think I remember the legs having +1 prayer over proselyte legs and the wreath has a big prayer bonus). A little disappointed that the unholy book is still the best god book. The Armadyl book, for example, could have had a +10 ranged bonus, +5 prayer, and no other stats. Zaros could've been +10 to magic, and Bandos could've been +10 to melee stats. It would've made them useful for specific skills and preferable over unholy book when training just one skill. The god bows might be pretty good if they're shortbow speed. New rune trimmed armor is pretty cool, too. EDIT: I logged in and went to Bork, forgetting that I already had a level 3 clue banked. L0l.
  22. Like I said, it's easily possible to pick drops and charms up without spending any extra time whatsoever. You should really learn how to do it; it's a useful skill.
