  1. FINALLY! ;) 10/10, obviously. What's next?
  2. I'm just annoyed because I can't stand training dungeoneering with the current experience rates. Once this update comes out, I'll be able to tolerate world 117 enough to finally get my rapier. <_< I didn't really care when the clue scroll update was delayed for two weeks or whatever, 'cause clue scrolls don't directly affect the way I play. Dungeoneering, however, does.
  3. 77 agility last night. Going to the beach today with girlfriend and her sisters. Still waiting on batch 1.75. <_<
  4. ALL I WANT IN LIFE IS THE DUNGEONEERING UPDATE TODAY.   EDIT: FMFL.
  5. I like this. Very, very much.
  6. Using a combat familiar and killing whatever's closest is fastest.
  7. Just search Mega Slayer Guide 5 on the RSOF.
  8. TDs and frost dragons eclipse the gp/hr of solo bandos  I think solo Bandos > frost dragons (assuming you can find a world, and frost dragons are way easier) :-k , but TDs > solo Bandos for sure.
  9. This isn't possible when 1) you're soloing (which you should be for everything other than corp. Team GWD is for noobs); 2) your computer crashes, internet crashes, etc. Even though those are low-probability events, low probability events eventually will happen. Team GWD is more efficient than solo at Zil and Arma. Soloing Zil is very irritating, and soloing Arma is not time-efficient because of the tedious KC. Trios are generally the norm for both of those bosses. But yes, if you get a power outage or your internet jacks up, chances are you will be gone for more than five minutes. Solo arma KC with steel titan is around 5-6 minutes, and you can last 15+ kills I know of a guy with a divine who uses a steel titan for KC, then switches to a unicorn for Kree. He can do 15-21 kills using overloads and maxed gear.
  10. Yeah, part of becoming a proficient slayer is finding the most efficient and effective inventory possible; one that will allow you to stay the duration of the task without banking. This is why Guthan's was such a big deal four years ago. Because I've been doing it for so long, I kind of have a sixth sense for constructing slayer inventories without having to think about it. The only task worth banking on his spectres due to the extremely high volume of herb drops and the speed at which you can bank. But that's preference.
  11. Well as long as you have at least +10 prayer, you're going to be able to complete most tasks on a single invent of prayer potions, so Bandos + fire cape is actually the best possible setup for slayer if you can afford the prayer potions. Bandos + SW cape is more economical, though, and only slightly less effective (it's also more invent-friendly, which I like). The goal is to use up as few pray pots as possible, though. I guess that's down to preferences, then, but it's worth noting that prayer bonus doesn't work linearly (as in, the difference between +30 and +20 is much smaller than the difference between +10 and +20). I think it's worth using more prayer potions to have a higher strength bonus. EDIT: D'oh, Bladewing already brought that up and provided examples:

  13. You know, it'd be pretty cool to have a sort of alternate RS3 that takes place during the God Wars (third age). Everyone starts out with a clean account, but (stealing Danz' idea here) your account can be linked to your RS2 account as an ancestor or something. It'd be like Runescape with a clean slate, so they could balance everything better. They could also make it shorter, like you could choose to fight in the war (and choose a god to fight for) or you could be a smith, a craftsmen, etc. There'd be classes, essentially, but with a broad range of things to do within each class (choosing to fight in the war would give you access to all combat stats, where choosing to be a skiller would grant you access to all non-combat stats). The entire game would be like one big RFD style quest that ends with Guthix awakening to stop the war. Sorry for the crazy tangent. One can dream.
  14. I check mine every few days, just to be safe. Yeah, I brew greenman's ales. u mad?
  15. Things like that can be hard to "train" yourself to do. With Jad, YOU MUST KEEP CALM. If you don't stay calm, you'll screw up and probably die. You could also try using void range with eagle eye and a Karil's xbow to get through the waves really fast. That way you wont feel as bad if you mess up at Jad again. It would also be possible to outhit the healers using that gear, but your ranged level might be too low to do it effectively. Anyway, nerves are everything. If you're calm and cool, you're more likely to succeed. EDIT: Another option is to train slayer and only attempt Jad when you get a Tzhaar task. That way you can use a full slayer helm for even more of an advantage, and even if you fail you'll have some slayer exp.
  16. While that would certainly be a fun and epic end, I would definitely prefer that they kept the servers running and just stopped updating. Preferably I'd like to see Runescape end only after all of the skills are jam-packed with stuff to do right up to 99, all of the quest story-lines are resolved, and a plethora of incredibly powerful and unique bosses are introduced with both tradeable and untradeable drops (armors, weapons, and items) requiring up to 99 in various skills to use.
  17. I typically enjoy safe PVP, but I'm not looking forward to playing that much Stealing Creation when I go for 90+ (and eventually 99 construction). :(
  18. It depends entirely on what you want to do. Are you slaying? Training? If general training, what stats? I assume that you're not going to be doing any PVP or MHing, as your combat levels are kind of low.
  19. This is an accurate interpretation, yes. Oh, I read that loud and clear and I definitely disagree with it. If I can fight for a KBD spawn and win on the first world I try, then I see no reason to hop to new world and potentially have to compete with someone who can outdamage me. I say that arbitrarily hopping a few times before you crash someone isn't courtesy--it's a way of giving yourself moral high ground in the inevitable fight. (Which is unnecessary, as there aren't any morals involved as far as I'm concerned.) Oh I definitely agree with you for KBD. I was talking about DKs or TDs more specifically, where they're not THAT crowded and it's a bit harder to crash someone than, say, Bandos or KBD (so I guess it's more out of practicality than morality or whatever). I definitely agree with crashing the first person you see when soloing Bandos or KBD, because ALL of the worlds are going to be packed. That said, I'm definitely not going to fault someone for not hopping at all.
  20. I think it's also the divine :P. A guy with a rune defender + CR/CLS will beat a guy with a divine + CR/CLS, but if both of these players are maxed, it's more than likely they wouldn't try to crash each other anyway.
  21. I'm like 95% positive that he said he slays in Bandos + SW cape. His guide is odd because it's like he's trying to cater to both power slayers and economical slayers simultaneously. It's definitely the best slayer guide there is, though. Interestingly, he says that using spec restores with dragon claws only saves you a few seconds of time per hour due to the chaotic rapier hitting so high already.
  22. If you can concentrate on a menial task, praying at Azombies will get you FAR more c ombat exp/h. With the saved time, you can easily make the cash back. You're right, but what about ranged, magic, and summoning experience? Given that you train almost all combat stats directly through slayer (exception is prayer), plus you get effigies, slayer is actually the most efficient way to train combat. If all you want is melee experience, zombies are better.
