I'm also new to it like you, and we have similar stats. Personally I use dhides, dboots, neitz, sw cape, glory, rol. For weapons, I prefer karils xbow + cmaul. This way, you never have to worry about switching shields, but sometimes the missing accuracy from a defender can make the darklight take a while to hit. But I just swap on piety and it hits pretty often so I don't worry about it.

Wolpers are going to be cool to use, as I don't have enough charms for 96 summoning yet.

There always seems to be that debate when I poke my head into General Discussion. So I am just going to research which has the best spread of dps for all attack styles as I will be training all three melee during slayer. I thank you for your advice though. I used protect melee with barrows. It didn't use mage that often.

You shouldn't run out of special attack power. Although I had spec restores and specced every 5 seconds, you still should have no problem using the spec when needed. Also, try wearing barrows armour and protect from melee. Remember to trap the defilers so more doesn't spawn. A full inv + familiar's rocktails would be good, this also allows you to use super potions since you won't lower your stats with brews anymore.

Well, first you say it's an opinion, then you state your last sentence like a fact. Regardless, I disagree. It's not a general experience for people. It probably happens once per player, then he/she learns how to not risk when doing clues, and/or how to tank out ice barrages and run away.

It definately cuts down on the profit part. I for one can manage a profit with even a K/D ratio < 1. But i'm usually very careless, and don't run very often because I know I'll make it all back eventually. Guess I gotta change my style and adapt, but I guess this separates the average PKer from the really good ones.

I think I fixed it! I build 4 parlors in a row, to the east of my study, and 3 parlors north of my workshop. I think the entrance was northeast in the POH "plane", but it was relatively southeast in my POH. So the rest of my house didn't load. I've made it so it pushed the entrance towards the middle-southeast ish, and alot more of my house loads at once I teleport in :thumbsup:

Whenever I enter my POH, I end up at my portal. Pretty normal you might think. BUT, if I have to go one room north, or east, I run into "Loading.. please wait". This is a huge problem because my chapel is in the eastern room, and my workshop/dungeon/throne rooms are north. Right now I'm going to 95 prayer, and everytime I load, it's 4-5 seconds, and makes the game lag a little. This is starting to get frustrating and in the future, if I decide to have more POH parties, it could be a problem again. I've already had some complaints about it in the past. So, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to fix this. Maybe I could build some rooms to the south and west, but I don't want to move my throne/menagerie/workshop unless I can be sure to fix the problem, because I don't want to spend millions building another gilded throne :unsure: All suggestions, theories, etc. are welcome!! EDIT: Here's a screenshot to explain what I'm talking about. As you can see, if i take one more step east, I'd have to load. The most eastern room is my throne room, northeast room is the workshop. South are 2 studies and a glory. I'm thinking of moving my chapel south of the glory room if there's nothing else I can do to solve this problem.

You should invest some into MTK if you haven't. Then invest the rest of the money into farming herbs, or merchanting. Although the market is volatile right now, so don't flip on the GE.
