Are you saying some places don't require resumes? Because I was wondering how it worked. There are some big chain stores where they take applications, but I never know when the right time to hand them a resume is :???: @dan & blake, ok I will try that! Do the floors by yourself on c1 small. Also, try and find a prom 2h to bind, and upgrade your beserker ring to t6 or so. With that, you should be good, and be sure to bind a shadow silk hood over your platebody if you can find one.

Cool story. Now explain to me why the pre-elites can't become elite and compete with me. I certainly didn't have trouble doing it. Hell, I still consider myself to be pre-elite at 137 and near-maxed stats. Let me ask you something, on your way to becoming level 137 with the elite stats+equipment+resources, did you stop and do other stuff? Or is all you do just train at armoured zomebies/ soul wars for days on end just so you can become an elite player? I'm betting on the former. And at this time in the game, the thing to do with your friends (or without) is minigames or boss hunting. Its what the majority enjoy to do. Nothing is stopping the pre-elites from becoming elites, but it's not going to happen overnight, and as a result there are always people in the pre-elite bracket. Also, nowadays, the elites have MUCH better things at their disposal, so it's much harder for a pre-elite to fight with them (doesn't mean we're going to bend over and hop for you everytime we see you). When you were a pre-elite, it was probably AGS as the hardest hitting weapon, with no extremes, no turmoil, etc. That makes it harder for someone to crash, since piety + a weapon like BGS or whip/defender was pretty common at Bandos. I also remember teams asking for 110+ combat instead of whatever it is now. What I'm trying to get at here is times have changed and elites have gotten more powerful, while pre-elites have found it harder to catch up. And leveling up takes a long time, also there are new waves of people becoming pre-elites everyday, which to you it will seem like the pre-elites just stay pre-elites.

I don't get you guys (stonewall, xpx, obt, etc), you guys are saying there is no right to owning a place, its fine to crash, it's called being competitive, etc. BUT, why are you guys saying "oh, hey, the 120 should hop for the 138 because it's overall better for Runescape."??? The 120 has the same amount of right to be there as the 138, now obviously he's going to be outpreformed and will get pretty p/d off at the 138, can you blame him? Also, I doubt he cares what's best for the rs economy as a whole, he plays the game to have fun just like the rest of us. Why do you guys get mad at others for not hopping? When did that happen? I believe that Christmas 2007 is being referenced. I think it was an earlier one, they spawned little imps (the ones that were level 2), all dressed up in holiday items and some got stuck in between walls and behind banks or something. It was pretty cool

I think you're taking this efficiency thing a little too far in this situation.

Just sell the unstrung version of the gold amulets, as people will buy them to train magic. And yes, buy water orbs + battlestaves.

For mage, I'd suggest a mix of string jewellery, burst/barraging (either rock lobsters or pvp minigames), and maybe stunalching and plank make. That way you'd have a mix of different things to do, and it makes training mage much more enjoyable imo. I tried to grind away using plank make, gave that up after a couple thousand casts, then tried string jewelery and gave that up after several thousand. So I ended up doing a mix of the above over time to finally achieve 94 :grin:

That works when you're not dg'ing with a bunch of idiots who are too busy making being scared to go into a gd first. Or they don't ggt when you tell them to because they're busy making armour; or they don't have any laws/cosmics :wall: Most of the times, you will have to do a bunch of stuff yourself if you want to go fast.

That's exactly my point. What bothers me is people who keep complaining that runescape was better before update X, or before they implemented this or that. Without new content, the game dies. Not all new content is good. Example: 2007, removal of the wilderness and free trade. That killed a part of the game y'know?

I gave you proof though. Anyways, the MLB is an old weapon, and is seldom used, it's ok if you didn't know about it's special attack (maybe you started playing later than me idk). None of us know everything about the game, so it's good to listen to other people when you're not very sure, instead of denying it outright.

Magic all the way. Cstaff + stream + ext mage + castlewars brace/fsh/fero ring = epic damage.
