  1. I'm almost done with the final dungeon now :D I've finished the first two thirds of it, with the remaining pathway left. Each third has its own really difficult mini boss, which I am reluctant to call mini as they are harder than anything you've fought so far. So yes, valtier can expect an epic confrontation here. One of them has a strange quirk to it, as the boss actually doesn't have ANY offensive moves. But he's still one of the hardest battles in the game. The dungeon is packed full of little puzzles and reflex challenges, and the monsters are fairly few but extremely poweful. For example, that reaper thing shown in the picture has 999 speed, str, and attack and cannot be harmed by you. It's ability to kill you in one hit is offset by the fact that it misses about 75% of the time. A little bit of strategy makes short work of this monsters though, but not without a likely causality or two. That part you're seeing is the forest section. Most areas of this dungeon are done on a panoramic floor.
  2. Someone has checked it before for me and it worked just fine. Are you sure you stood in the correct spot? Only ONE square is a correct spot. Granted it was probably a glitch and it's possible that Jagex removed it.
  3. While redoing the intro cutscene I also decided it was a nice opportunity to try out a puzzle idea I had been thinking about. Here you play as the main antagonist for a moment as he tried to put this bloodstained puzzle back together for malicious reasons. What the puzzle is supposed to look like it shown above (One piece is missing so as to allow movement). The goal is to make the puzzle by sliding blocks. Block can only be slid into an adjacent empty space. The arrow cursor is used to select a block to slide. It's just like those treasure trail sliding box puzzles, except that it is only 3x2.
  4. Nothing set in stone as usual but I hope to have it out before christmas.
  5. It'll never be completed because it is an ever advancing guide. It's actually four guides in one, which means it's completed four times over. Eventually it'll contain 5 guides. Then 6. etc. etc. Misunderstood Monsters is not itself a guide, but rather like.. a bookshelf where the books on it are standalone guides.
  6. Yes! Yes!!!!!!!! AOW!!!!! I never thought I'd be able to make a guide this good lol. Especially not my first one O_O. Coincidentally don't expect a new addition to the guide for quite some time as I've recently fallen out of Runescape and into Game Design. I hope to finish Enex2 and then go back to Runescape, which will include more guides. Thank you for the support and the readings everybody.
  7. A lot of those alien things look very interesting...
  8. The town of Chilinry is out of the way. Built on the Fimbeln Glacis, a inhospitable but pristine and beautiful mountain, it very rarely gets visitors or contact from the outside world. It is for the most part, self sufficient. There is a yearly stock up of goods from below the mountain in summer to last them fall and winter. Word was that Chilinry was failing and the people were not able to provide enough food for themselves due to a infection of the food, but everything seems to have solved itself inexplicably. Oh and I found an awesome final boss theme (in response to Mage's questions on the matter.) :D
  9. When you say turn based, do you mean like.. Fire Emblem or Final Fantasy Tactics? When you said turn based I may have assumed a different meaning.
  10. Ah, why not use the game making program I made to make Enex2? http://tkool.jp/products/rpgxp/eng/ good luck on your project.
  11. The Fimbeln Region has been experiencing rumors of Necromancy being secretly practiced in the area. This is encouraged by the way that Ancient Beasts and people who died up there seem to be.. getting up, walking around, and attacking passerbys. In a skeletal fashion of course. Just a another battle system clip, I also wanted to show off my usage of a skeletal wyvern (named Wyvern Bones in Enex2). Before anyone accuses me of copying Runescape in any shape or form, I'd like to make this disclaimer: I totally stole the idea of a Skeletal Wyvern in an icy region from Runescape. I didn't feel it was a crime to base one monster in Enex2 off my favorite monster in Runescape, so I went ahead and added them into the ice region. I also have non-undead version of Wyverns too, which are basically Dragons with the ability to change their Elemental Affinity. Other (undead) monsters in that area will include Frost Skeletons, Charred Skeletons, and Shadow Wisps (That's the floating skull thing).
  12. Amazing. Not only did you make me laugh but you also showed me some nice moneymaking methods (which I will be using sparingly if at all due to the lack of experience involved, but I still might.) I'd highly recommend this guide to everyone if it didn't mean that these items would become Junk.
  13. Sometimes I love these chores, sometimes I hate them. It all depends on how limited my time for that day is.
  14. It'll be a while before I release another guide but Im considering Scabarites, Black Demons, Warped Tortoises, and Brine Rats at the moment.
  15. Anything with Zelda in it or Tales of in the beginning of it.
  16. The beginning of the guide talks about that. When I started writing the guide (It took me a long time to get this done), Cave Slimes were very underrated. They were discovered and made popular before I was able to release my guide. I didn't want it to go to waste so I decided to publish it anyway. Sorry that Cave Slimes weren't as interesting as Wyverns or Terrorbirds.
  17. Still not yet  In a way I do, I have a lot of great songs I have yet to use, but I want to make sure the final boss music is absolutely epic, so Im going to keep searching.
  18. Hey Everyone, Progress is back! I really really hope I can finish it before I become drawn away from it again.
  19. I'd like to announce I've added a new guide, Cave Slime. Im a bit overdue for it. I'll also be cleaning the guide up in the future to update equipment.
  20. Theyre just for fun, nothing else. I hang on to them just because I think theyre a little fun to collect, but if you don't care about that then just drop them. Sure, you get a little xp for applying them, but.. Don't even worry about it.
  21. So many people are freaking out that Jagex is having a US Thanksgiving "Event"... It's not an event people. Nowhere did they say it would be an event. Theyre simply going to make some turkeys run around with a little minigame to play. I don't think theyre giving an event clothing or anything, it's more like a mini-event.
  22. I think this is the most interesting place for me to alch my 500 or so air battlestaffs (going to switch to making water staffs now though to increase profitability) Notice the lack of a antifire shield :D Oh, and if anyone is wondering, yes the Mithril Dragons are still aggressive to meat that point.
  23. Quests are probably my favorite part of playing Runescape. I absolutely cannot wait for this amazing quest to come out :D
  24. Perhaps as the pking worlds are around for longer and longer, the real pkers will start the reform and rejoin.
