I think it's important for them not to do an update every week. How long can runescape really last if they keep trying to add stuff every week? There will become a point when runescape cant be updated anymore, and then updates will ruin the game. Or updates will stop, and people will become bored of the game.

Thanks for the plug! lol. This guide is awesome, I want to get 99 ranged via slayer (as well as 99 in every melee stat), so this quite useful for when I choose to range.

The guide to which herbs to plant, now fully automated!
Erichermit replied to Troacctid's topic in General Guides
The intro by Evil Dave was quite interesting and the information is useful. I will definitely be using this table to work out which seeds to plant for a good balance of xp and money. -

Is it possible to go back to that clearing where I sweeped the sand? That place looks amazing, I want to take pictures there. -

Hmm. It seems rational to expect that we will be seeing a massive update to smithing coming soon. This could be in the form of dragon metal smithing, but I have a different idea. I think there is a good possibility this place will be used to create our own metallic dragons to fight, given a certain required smithing level, perhaps all the way up to Rune Dragons? -
Oh dear, I've been in that dungeon numerous amounts of time but I've never seen that! Awesome! I'm getting excited for the coming giant quest.

Post all RS Screenshots, Videos, and Sounds here!

Wow, that video was actually pretty interesting. I can't believe he killed a Mithril Dragon with that outfit. -
While doing combat, I always wear on stats based. Good thing I think full void ranged and full bandos looks great. While skilling I like to wear a "humble" looking but nice looking outfit that matches my fishing cape. Fishing skillcape (t) Moonclan Hat Cat Training Amulet Boots of Lightness Elidinis Robe tops and bottoms Ice Gloves For the hand and shield part I usually wear magic secataurs, Dragon wc axe, rune pickaxe, etc. It just all depends on what skill I'm doing. When I don't need an item in the weapon slot I either go with nothing and a saradomin book, or an Anchor. Many people try to wear outfits that flaunt wealth, such as wearing melee armor to woodcutting areas. I don't like this. I like to wear an outfit that doesn't say "I'm better than you" or anything like that, but instead says something more along the lines of "I'm a friendly person"

It has helped p2p's farming runs greatly. The cabbage patch farming patch is now incredibly easy to access.

Many things are fun to me depending on my mood. Basically Temple Trekking, Slayer, Wyvern Slaying, Skilling, and just alching while hanging out with friends seems to be what I enjoy most.

PvP worlds not entirely thought through?
Erichermit replied to thefightingmime's topic in General Discussion
To be honest, there needs to be some way that armor and weapons leave the game. Otherwise they just keep entering and entering but they almost never leave. That is why prices are so bad. That is why I cast alchemy on all my rune and even some dragon armor pieces I earn from slayer! This "hunger" is quite honestly something runescape has been needing for ages. -
"We pay to Lure"? I'm surprised that when bank pins came out, hackers didn't demand they go away because they pay to steal. Ridiculous.

Yay! 2 more to Abyssal Demons! -
You guys are confusing Jennica with Summer. The girl you help in the quest is Summer. Jennica was not taken by the beast, she just died. You never spoke with Jennica.

It is, as someone mentioned earlier, probably a means for Surok to sneak into Varrock and steal stuff. Or something.

The zarosian grave in front of Ardougne church...
Erichermit replied to Snipers_end's topic in General Discussion
Probably because it doesn't make much sense for a Zarosian grave to be in front of a saradomnist church. That grave has been there longer than Zaros has been mentioned in the game, so it's highly likely when they put the grave there that symbol was just a random symbol. They probably recently decided that since that symbol is now the Zaros Symbol, it is nonsensical to have there. Just speculation. -
Ah! That was really silly of me. My brain is a bit of a mush today due to loads of Physics Homework. For some reason I confused the two rings. Yes, that is strange that one would talk to the Strange Old Man while wearing Jennica's Ring.
-
most of the time accidently i guess  ;) But how many people randomly go to barrows in a Jennica's ring instead of a wealth or something and accidently talk to the old man? :o The ring provides a prayer bonus useful in barrows. That is why one would bring it there.

You need to go talk to the gypsy again, I think.

Misunderstood Monsters: Wyverns and more!
Erichermit replied to Erichermit's topic in Archive of Wisdom
Yeah, I've always known Elf Crystals weren't really worth it, but I still can't be bothered to add an altar to my house because Im not sure where I want it. =P Also, I like teleporting to Lleyta to grow the fruit tree patch there whenever I pass by. I'm aware it's much less efficient than the house teleport and I noted in my guide that any one click tele is usable. I didn't realize I made it seem like the elf crystal is the best choice though, I'll fix that right now. Thank you. -
Ooo. I suppose it would be. Unless its safe, i'd put 1mil in there myself, just to own some noobs. Sounds like a new place to train ranged using chinchompas! =D

If money is what you're looking for, I found that bringing the Most powerful people on the hardest treck was worth about 300k gp an hour, with Talon Beast Charms on the side. You might want to consider this, just throwing it out there.

Progress is very slow. I fiddling with it a little lately, but alas I have very little free time. I have to deal with College Applications so =(. I do not believe I will be making any more games after Enex2, I'm afraid to admit, at least not any at it's length. The amount of time I've spend working on Enex2 is immense. I'd estimated close to a thousand total hours. Maybe more. Pretty much I have almost no free time at all lately, and the little free time I do have I've spent playing Runescape. Once things settle down for me I'll have more free time than I can shake a stick at, and I find my Runescape interest lately has been waning. As soon as I'm accepted into College and Band Football Games and Marching Contests end, I shall be able to resume and finish Enex2.

Kent's guide to Slayer mastery! NEW SECTION!!!
Erichermit replied to Inuashakent's topic in General Guides
I absolutely love to see new Slayer guides, as it is my favorite skill (2nd is Summoning, mostly because it ties in with Slayer.) Thank you very much for the information in the guides. It will aid me greatly while training the skill. On the cannon remark, I always thought cannons were unaffected by range level and range bonus, since that seemed most logical. Does this mean I should start wearing range bonus armor etc. while cannoning on a slayer task..?
