Nice guide, and way to be one of the first to get a guide out about it! Do you know whether or not Runecrafting Robes affect your ZMI outputs? Because they could be useful in increasing xp and profit per hour if so at the ZMI.

I'd use it. I killed a LOT of spiritual mages, using wild pies, and was getting really crummy amounts of dragon boots, but when I switch to RoW I noticed a very distinct increase in the amount of boots I was earning. DEFINITELY use it.

Heheh, thats me. I seem to recall wyvern breath being barely affected by magic defense at all, like Freesia stated. However, I did not realize that there were two different kinds of wyverns (I only fought the same single wyvern over and over again). However, I think it's harder to go deeper and do the "Easier" wyverns because you get thrown around by the various wyverns there, while if you kill the one in the alcove you generally get left alone except for that one wyvern. Polybren: You do know theres a safespot after they get unaggresive, right?

this is true, wyverns definately use their ranged attack when you are ranging them, i don't know if they still use it while you are in melee range though (like miths) Yes, they also use it in melee range. But not as much as they do when you're far away as they now have Melee attacks to choose from too.

I don't think it will be f2p for this reason: When something is not specified whether or not it will be p2p or f2p, it is p2p. The only time it is for f2p too, they state that the update will be given to f2p.

Ryderj told me that Mutated Zygomites are a good source of farming seeds. Maybe try them out?

As alphakodes said, staying far away from a wyvern to where it can only use the longrange attack but not the breath attack will result in it not being able to hit anything but 0s. Range Prot means a certain ONE of his styled moves does no damage. I think this would count he doesn't have a range attack. Trust me, I'm CERTAIN Wyverns have a ranged attack, and I have much experience in killing them.

*gives cookie to Woodcut Lvr* :) And I can confirm that Wyvern Breath is not affected by Antifire. Salve Amulets do not work too. And sorry Druminator but Wyverns DO have a range attack. You have to pray range to range them for a while until you can safespot, so I know for a fact it's a ranged attack.

It's actually just two different attacks. Breath is when he spits, and ranged is when he jumps up and a blue sphere (the orb) is made it it's center. And yeah, People use mage protect I always thought was a bit silly as I always took more damage from Melee. Of course, best way is to just not use any protect. Use a defensive prayer, or offensive to just kill it faster.

I don't get 50 kills per trip, but wyverns are still a ton of fun for me! @Wouter828: I know piety flicking is better, however, I tried and I just can't figure it out. All that happened to me was that I ended up using prayer points with no piety bonus. Could someone make a gif or something..?

In order to prevent monotony from driving you crazy, why not do both? Just alternate every 1000 yews to 1000 ores, or something.
