  1. If your magic level is high enough and you can use the chain shortcut (as well as afford Karils), try food. Sure, you can make profit still by using prayer. Or you could make even more profit using food.
  2. Thank you, that excerpt from you guide was quite helpful. Please note that I only have 79 summoning, thus I cant summon a Lava Titan or Unicorn. A Ice/Fire/Moss Titan is like a mini-Unicorn, so maybe I should bring that?
  3. Ive been playing Runescape since the summer of 2001. To me this account is mroe than just an account on a online game. It's an acheivement, and it's something I've grown up with. I couldnt dream of selling it.
  4. Thank it, it would seem proselyte is the way to go. How about familiars? Titan? Tortoise? Some kind of combat familiar? Bunyip?
  5. What is a good rc level to where assisting people making Air Runes is worth my time. I'm currently 75 RC and a member, previously I was doing ZMI. Should I do it now or wait until level 77, or is it even worth it at all for a member?
  6. Yeah, Im torn between Karils and Proselyte. What would the item setup and familiar be too though?
  7. If there was a Skeletal Wyvern familiar, the bones would likely be used. It'd bring more profit to my Wyvern killing, that's for sure.
  8. I want to solo the KBD for my 60 black dragon's slayer task. I don't want to argue about this, don't suggest another method, I want to do this. What would be the optimal (preferably melee) setup for me? My combat stats are as follows: 90 Attack 92 Strength 89 Defense 90 Ranged 71 Prayer 84 Magic 93 HP 79 Summoning I have a Slayer Mask and Dragonslayer gloves, so using those together results in a VERY hefty strength and attack bonus for me against the KBD. I also have a Dragonfire Shield and a Whip. Im unsure as to what to wear in all the other spots besides Head , Gloves and Shield. Im also unsure as to what familiar to bring. Your advice is appreciated.
  9. One of the reasons that firemaking is so looked down upon is that it is so useless and there aren't really readily available grinding methods that seem to do any good for runescape or you character like other skills do. I believe Jagex is working on changing that though, what with beacons, cremations, and pheonix pyres, firemaking is starting to be more of a Mini-game skill and less of a "skill that you sometimes need for quests."
  10. The release of the Pheonix is exactly what I needed. I'll use that to level fm! 7.5k fm xp a day is a worthy amount :D
  11. Lol bacons...yum. Beacons actually don't give less xp, they just give a static amount no matter what kind of log you use. So you get extra xp if you use willows, but less xp if you use yews. but.. compared to xp per hour, is it better than or worse than maple log burning?
  12. Yeah, I don't think I'll stress too much about 92 fm unless I can find a viably standable way. I guess I wont be using orbs, but maybe shades for a bit of fun, I cant see that being fast xp though. I heard that you can earn fast xp by lighting beacons, is that true?
  13. The monetary difference between monkfish and shark is very low while the exp difference high. You'd be making almost the same amount of money per hour, and the exp is valuable, whether or not you think so at this point in time.
  14. Alright, so right now my options im considering are Suck it up and burn maples. Spend a little and burn Eucalyptus Burn the hardest shades Light Dorgeshuun bulbs. Does anyone know what the fm xp per hour would be burning shades and the fm xp per hour for bulbs?
  15. Thanks for the advice but I was more looking for something gameplaywise that is fun. Is Shade Burning or Dorgshuun Lamp replacing a viable method, or is it too slow to consider? I dont want to spend forever on this.
  16. No, this isn't a rant. I just cant stand it. No skill has ever drove me so crazy before. Maybe it's the extreme repetetiveness. Maybe it's the fact that there is no reward as you do it. Maybe its the fact that theres little to look forward to while levelling. I want to get 92 fm for that awesome inferno adze, but I cant stand this skill, It's more boring than anything. What is a more interesting way to level firemaking?
  17. If you can get at least 20 points a game, which shouldnt be too hard, that means 1 proto axe an hour. I calculated that one morphic axe is worth 17.5k bonus wc xp, so that means playing the game is worth 52k or so (give or take some I dont have a calculator on hand) an hour. That's not bad for something that's fun.
  18. probably runecrafting, since I don't enjoy training it, and could then use that level to generate fast income
  19. I'd never complain a bout a Wyvern task :) I always use Duradel.
  20. Progress is very slow, but thankfully I don't have much left. I'm trying my hardest to get it done. I hoped to set a deadline by christmas but obviously that didnt work. I'm also having trouble uploading any beta versions of the game as my internet wont stay connected long enough for it. =( Thank you for being interested though! It's near completion.
  21. I personally really like The Abyss and Walking to the Port Phasmatys Farm Patch from the Ectofuntus
  22. Theyre the second hardest 1 on 1 non boss monsters in the game. 1st being mithril dragons.
  23. This happened once to me, but I got kicked out by my ring of life. I wouldn't abandon my team like that. They weren't lying either. I was skeptic and they showed me proof -.-
  24. while I agree with using cannons on tasks... How can the cannon be made for the purpose of Kalphites and Dagannoth tasks, when the dwarf cannon came out before slayer? ;)
  25. It looks more like the dying man in God Wars is an Elite White Knight, notice the helmet shape is the same but the color is different. Much like regular black knights and white knights.
