well......im starting to releize how this game isnt realy that fun....i mean what is there that is actualy fun in this game? to me im starting to think this game is more like work and not realy a game...because after all games are ment to be fun? what do u guys think?

Make money (god wars), train, peekay, clan wars..Pretty much it.

 

 

 

And yeah obviously games are meant to be fun.

 

 

 

But runescape is more of a 'invest time and you will reap fun in the end' game.

If you are finding it boring, then just quit. You might not think it is a good idea, at first, but trust me, it is so much better once you have left RuneScape, and are doing other things.

There's something eerily fun in running to the nature altar over and over? I don't know why, but I see it as a way to relax and chat with friends who are online.

Many things are fun to me depending on my mood. Basically Temple Trekking, Slayer, Wyvern Slaying, Skilling, and just alching while hanging out with friends seems to be what I enjoy most.

go to c wars, sing in varrock center, challenge noobs to a noob fight, follow people around and talk in foreign languages, or just bug people :thumbsup:

i get most of my pleasure finding interesting and efficient ways to train skills that most people don't think of

 

that and quests, this game would be boring to no end if you actually did not enjoy the quests

 

that and erm... distractions + diversions and stuff along those lines

 

 

 

i hate repetitive grinds

 

So i do take pleasure out of reducing the time i spend grinding

of course you have to work in order to experience all the fun stuff in the game and that has always been the main aspect in runescape. but i have to slightly agree with you. taking a break relieves all the boredom and you will eventually end up finding yourself playing again. works wonders for me.

Honestly, I only grind away on rs while surfing the web chatting on here or msn, or doing what ever. Then when I want fun I play something like cs lol...

 

 

 

I took a break from '04 or '05 I think it was, till about 5 monthes ago an started re playing rs, got to 108 (just about to hit 109) in that time, and I think I will take a break again, not sure how long. Prob play on an off but not as much, summer is here, which meens nice weather. Ya need a break from rs once in a while.

Slay, kill big bosses, Castle Wars, Clan Wars, chat, FoG (the noobs are hilarious,) PKing, 1-iteming... 'tis all good! (Yeah... kill stuff basically.)

When I played I used to just log off if I was bored, and go play some other game or walk my dog. I usually find something after some time off RUnescape.

if u find it boring it is a sign to move on. i used to love rs and now not so much anymore. the only joy i have is pking and thats wat im training to do.

I get my friends santa hat and dress as santa and Taunt noobs in world 17 with "Santa hates you!" and give out free coal.

 

 

 

Its a fun way to pass an hour or 2.

I like to improve my character, set and achieve goals and such. If I've just messed around for a bit and did nothing substantial, my hours seem wasted.

Increase total level by increasing lowest level skill, Fist of Guthix, Duel Arena, and Great Orb Project.

ATM I'm ranging Aviansies in the GWD and I find it immensely fun! There's something about 500k gp p/hour whilst earning decent range xp that really does it for me.
