  1. The way I understand some people's reactions, it's okay to have a huge advantage in combat because you made millions selling things made with a skill, but not okay to have one directly because of the level. In my opinion, this is an excellent-sounding update. I say "sounding" because my herblore level is lame. Plus, the ranarrs in my bank have gone up 2k each.
  2. Well if early dinosaurs had feathers then why can't dragons? Beacause said dinosaurs were closely related to the ancestral bird. Dragons, to my knowledge, are not maniraptorians.
  3. 10x of at least two types of ranged ammo :?: I never buy from shops, so I can't say this bothers me overly much yet.
  4. Pickaxe? It looks like a demented bird head! 'Course, the D scimmy picture from the KB looked like a feather... And the D-full helm has feathers... Oh dear, they're turning Dragon into Duck.
  5. A possible inventory graphic of D defender: I know that it's rotated 180 degrees from the other defenders.
  6. [hide=]Combat: Attack, Ranged, Magic: Accuracy Bonus, Chance of dealing 2x damage while fighting players Strength: Damage Bonus Defense: Opponent accuracy reduction, Reduces chance of opponent attack/mage/range superhit occuring Health: Opponent damage reduction Prayer: Reduced drain rate Slayer: Chance of dealing 2x damage while fighting monsters Summoning: I don't know Collection: Mining: Chance of getting double ores. Acess to rune rock in mining guild. Woodcutting: Reduced chance of felling tree Fishing: Substantial fishing rate increase. Access to a fishing platform from fishing guild, with 1 deepsea (manta, turtle) spot. Hunter: Animals less likely to spot you Theiving: Chance of being caught reduced Farming: Chance of harvesting seeds with usual produce Creation: Smithing: Chance of making mastersmithed items, with better stats (Like, Rune Scimitar (ms) has 50 slash bonus, 49 strength, etcetera). Access to furnace and Anvil in mining guild.. Fletching: Chance of making masterfletched items, with better stats Herblore: Chance of making 4-dose potions Cooking: Reduced chance of burning food, slight speed bonus while cooking. Monsters don't drop them.[/hide] Those above are my ideas. I especially like mastersmithed items.
  7. I have a bad feeling about this... >That's no Rune, It's a Space Station!<
  8. I don't see what's so bad about them. It's called change. Get used to it. Staring at the same thing for years upon years is boring. Change is needed to keep things moving. Change in a game should only be made if it is an improvement. You would really rather a red blob instead of something that look like an egg? Uh, what's that in the upper-left-hand corner? It looks like a Romulan Warbird.
  9. SAILING WILL BE USED TO GET TO A NEW CONTINENT!!! Eh, this stuff is good to know, but nothing really interesting. Yet.
  10. What? I haven't seen a bot since the trade restrictions. Anyways, why are the stores now personalised? :( Other than that, I like the updates.
  11. I usually stick with just "Scotty, beam me up" or "Energize". No, seriously, I usually do.
  12. Enough to be a clear violation of the law of conservation of mass... Well, for hammers, chisels, etc., I think that there must be at least 3 or 4 times as many as there are players in the game. For GP, trillions.
  13. Well, the 3 central things, IMO, are (in no praticular order): Skills Combat Questing I may be wrong, but I think that the thing that sets RuneScape apart form most games is the quests. They have a story, they come in difficulties ranging from a beginner who's been off Tutorial Island for 5 minutes to a player with levels all in the 70s to 90s, and has spent years playing. All my experience with quests in other games is "Kill 7 Blood Demons from the evil pit of Khazad, and take the Holy Staff of the Elements from them" or something like that.
  14. It's only useless if you find getting millions of GP to be fun. I personally play casually, training skills, earning money, or questing when it suits my mood, so for me skilling isn't pointless. NOTE: I don't say that focusing on maximum profit is a bad way to play, I think it's a perfectly acceptable way to play the game. Rather, I say I don't focus on it. For example, my Fishing and Mining are different by around 10 levels, because I find the similar skills to be different in fun-ness. My summoning and Farming are dreadfully low because I can't stand training them. I like attack, on the other hand, and it's over twice as high. --- Besides, on the GE items may take forever to buy or sell.
  15. Eh, support, I see no problem. Plus then the "dancing better for more money" chain could get a new link.
  16. I personally think that Champ's challenge is more trouble than it's worth. So, complete support.
  17. The only way I can see this being a possibly good thing is for max XP to be much higher than current XP (Like, current XP for a tuna is 100, right? Have starter XP be like 150 XP per for tuna, and minimum be like 75.) Because if after only one load, items began to drop in XP, then it would be like, under your idea, 1: 110 per 2: 105 per 3: 100 per 4: 95 per 5: 90 per 6: 85 per Etc, as after only a few minuites you'll be getting a lower XP average. And I think that it should be item made that counts, not bar used. Making a sword out of iron and making a sword out of adamantite is pretty much the same thing, except for physical effort (read: strength) involved. I still fail to understand why it takes ten times the knowledge of how to hit metal with a hammer to make two different types of plate armour... And I think that technique shouldn't matter for fishing-spearing a shark is a totally different thing from spearing a tuna. Melee definitely should not have this (Or perhaps vastly slower) (In RL: Isn't it better to lift weights for 10 minuites than 1?) Same for Agility and Ranged. Also, I think that it would be better for it to decrease over levels (Level 35 gets like 115 XP/Tuna, level 99 gets 50/tuna) And finally: WHY?
  18. IMG TAGS FOR QUICK PIC Im sorry, does that say Wear: Prayer Potion (4) :ohnoes: Fail shooper caught red-handed. :shame: I once tried to wear a tuna. Don't ask.
  19. First I put in "JEDA", because it's my initials. Well, it's similar to my initials. Then, it was apparently was taken, so the game suggested about 10 different names, like "Jeda86" and "Jeda132". I chose the lowest number username on the list, "Jeda45", because I wanted to have the number as low as possible.
  20. Okay, I was just saying that "sailing" means that the involved boat has a sail... Come up with a better name. Please?
  21. There are many factors in what you get from any skill. Such as: Time of day Time spent playing Number of people playing RoW I am almost sure of such- in the mid-afternoon in a world based in the same time-zone as I, I got 50k worth of herbs from Chaos Druids. That night, I got less than 20K. Similar time spent playing, same outfit, same world, etc. In the evening between 8:00 and 9:00, I got 2 clues from Harpy bugs. After spending an hour doing the same thing later that night, I got none. The next morning, I got a clue after 3 drops. Though, the reward stank. Addy dagger, 19 nats, green D'hide chaps ( sans trim or gold trim). Like 5k worth of stuff, previous eve yielded Guthix page and Green D'hide chaps (gold-trimmed) Plus lots of addy and runes.
  22. I'm not sure, but they may be from the Bigtop Bonanza D&D event. You know, the circus thing that changes place every week?
  23. My last 3 TT rewards (All since noon today): Sleeping cap (from LV1) Guthix p4 (LV2) Gold-trimmed Green D'Hide (LV2) Plus ~5k worth of runes and stuff. I've rarely gotten much from clues before, so..
  24. Uh, this is Gielinor, not Qo'noS.
  25. For me, this is solely a result of my lowish combat level, Dragons. Just about any of 'em. I'm only level 87, so about 50 bronze dragons is really time-consuming... (I have yet to kill 4 before running out of food) Same for like 100 blue dragons. (About 10 of them before I retreat) Unless I kill the baby blues, which is just lame.
