ITs nice to see the Bot problem is being taken care of....
It ebbs and flows. And anyway, most "bots" aren't really bots. Macro programs have been phased out, for the most part, and replaced by gold farmers, which are far more difficult to detect and punish. That may explain why it seems they are gone; it's late at night and perhaps their shifts ended.

Offensive Language
Meh, I used to rant and rant about the censor, but I have come to realize that if it were not there, you'd see the legions of immature dip[cabbage]s ceaselessly bellowing "damn this, f that, ur mom sucks this, etc"

Jad with ONLY Mage prayer
If you can do this, you will officially win Duke Nukem's Balls of Steel award. Seriously though, this is a crazy feat, and it will place you above even the God of Jad, Lapin Poika. I imagine it will require at least four attempts.

Should F2P vote for and get Holiday events?
I agree, even though I voted for the Bone Brooch. I rather like how Jagex designed the hood, although I will never forgive the idiots who voted for Varrock as the most recent achievement diary.

ZGS: Why it isn't THAT bad
Several reasons: 1) More practical for doing Bandos Godwars runs... You wear a piece of bandos armor and the Zamorak GS and you can then wear a skill cape for the +4 prayer bonus and +9 defense. 2) Perhaps one is an avid CW player like I am? 3) The Bandos Special is highly overrated. It uses up the entire bar, which is a longshot. You'd be better off using 4x dds specs. And against boss monsters, 3x d hally specs are superior.

Should F2P vote for and get Holiday events?
I honestly think that the only people who should be able to vote in Guaranteed Content polls are people who are either 100+ combat or 1300+ total level. It is stupid to put the fate of an update in the hands of lower levels, who are less experienced in the game. You don't let bums vote on laws, do you? No. You vote for representatives to do it for you, because the average Joe is too ignorant to be able to make the best choice. The same should apply to these votes in Runescape. People with less than 1300 total or who are under 100 combat have not played long enough to be able to know what the game needs, so they are apt to choose things like the Varrock Diary because it is "familiar" or because it "looks nice."

23 October 2007 - Hallowe'en Event - For ALL
It would've been nice to have gotten a full Reaper costume... Of course, without the Scythe.

23 October 2007 - Hallowe'en Event - For ALL
The fact of the matter was, 90% of all mid to high levels (100-126) I talked to wanted the Fremmenik Area, as it is far more vast than the Varrock Area and offers a much wider range of challenges. Most of the people who voted for the Varrock Diary were either swayed by the recent graphical update or they thought it would be easy. Quite honestly, I think Jagex should place a skills requirement on Guaranteed Content polls, where you can only vote if you are either 100+ combat or you have 1300+ total level. This would give Jagex a much better idea of what is best for the game, as people at or above those requirements are vastly more experienced with the game (and are more inclined to know what is good for the game) than level 60s with under 1k total. Why do you think that people vote for representatives to make choices for them? Those representatives are more qualified and have more insight than the "average Joe" on what would benefit the populus. The same should apply to the GC polls... Higher levels typically have more insight on what the game needs so they should therefore be the ones to decide the fate of the updates.

Is runescape really getting bigger?
Indeed. Many of the newer generation of RS players are clueless and immature, and often beg for Jagex to "dumb down" the game, resulting in updates like the 1 minute rule.

23 October 2007 - Hallowe'en Event - For ALL
People in F2P were satisfied. And considering the poll was open to everyone, it makes a bit of sense. 1/4 of population were satisfied, while 3/4 weren't. Truly unfair . Wouldve been exactly the same with the broom  . Stop mocking about you guys not getting your darn broom, maybe itll happen next year. Best solution is not to make polls, as when the options are seen, I can already tell the answer. Look, most of the hoods are fairly hard to get and that's why those low levels wanted the hood, because it looks cool and all that stuff. While I like how the hood looks, I agree. The Guaranteed Content Polls are a mockery. They are skewed because there are far more lower levels who play than higher levels, therefore they will always win the polls. Just look at the disaster that was the Varrock Diary. Any respectable player would've voted for Fremmenik, but because of the Graphical update and the noobs' familiarity with Varrock, they chose that instead.

Bone bolts and how to fix them?
Bone and mith bolts have completely different uses, so mith bolt business won't be affected. Mith bolts and up are used for higher defence monsters/bosses. Seriously, would you use bone bolts against iron drags like you would for mith bolts? Mith bolts are only used for those higher defense monsters because you receive a much higher Ranged bonus with the Rune Crossbow than you do with the Bone Crossbow. It doesn't change the fact that bone bolts are still equally as effective as mith bolts for a mere fraction of the price.

What was your best decision in Runescape?
My best decision was to go to Godwars a few days ago with some friends. In three trips, we got two Bandos Hilts, scoring a handsome sum of 27.1m each.

Is runescape really getting bigger?
I believe RS will hit its peak some time early next year. Because of the limitations of the combat system (99 HP and nothing that actually reduces the amount of potential damage incurred) Jagex has backed themselves into a corner. If one can wield something as powerful as the Godsword at 75 attack, what is there at 80 or 85 attack? It'd be asinine to create something stronger than the Godsword, so that really leaves nowhere to expand. Also, combined with the undefeatable macro problem, Jagex just can't save this game. I give it another two or three years before Jagex starts losing more people than they gain.

Runescape after autoers and bots? some thoughts
The only way I can see the Bot/Macro epidemic coming to an end is if the market dries up... In other words, the problem is so vast that nothing can stop it, short of RS closing down, which I predict it will in another two or so years.

I HATE YOU FIGHT CAVES!!!
Mmkay... Why don't you just be like the rest of the low level noobs and use a halberd or bow to safely kill the Tzhaar behind a gold rock?

Nice shield. =D> By the way, Barrows officially sucks now. Blood Runes are worth 350-400 each, and the armor is less than 500k for most pieces. It's not nearly the moneymaker it used to be. Get three or four people you can really trust to go with you to Godwars and kill the Bandos General. In around 36 hours, I made 27.1m off that. It's much better money than Barrows, albeit it is quite a bit riskier, but that's nothing to worry about if you have a trustworthy team whom you can depend on to get your stuff if you get KOed.

What's your favorite armour?
I usually wear either my Bandos Plate and Tassets with a Neitiznot Helm, or a Spined Helm, Bandos Plate, Rockshell Legs, and Steel Claws.

That day is not soon enough. The day that macroers outnumber legitimate players will come long before macroers run out of names. Do the math problem 36!, you'll see just how many names exist.

Sold this one for 40.9, 13.6 each. That's 26.1 each for two days of [bleep]ing around. Not bad at all. :-w

Seriously, what proof do you have that they were autoers? I'm not defending macroers in any way, i'm just saying that you can't say someone is a macroer just by their name and cb level. Honestly, Jagex should ban people based on that premise. If you are level 3-10 and you reach a certain level in certain skills without any other levels, and you have an asian-sounding name with numbers at the end of it or just a gibberish name like xcv23, Jagex should just ban regardless of whether or not you are innocent. Yeah yeah, I know this would warrant an outcry from skillers, but that's the chance they take by being a skiller. Besides, don't make a gibberish name and actually raise your skills and you don't have to worry. If they adopted this "ban now ask questions later" attitude, it'd be significantly easier to control the macro epidemic. As of right now, there is too much 'red tape' that Jagex has to go through to ban macroers.
