  1. Theres plenty of short easy novice quests for them already. The only people who do all the quests are the serious questers anyway. I concur. I am sick of these random sequels... And the newest HAM quest this month.... NO ONE GIVES A RAT'S [wagon] about the HAM storyline.... Why do they keep expanding it, instead of finishing the storylines that numerous people have requested for the past two years?! Plague City MM/Glough/Glouphrie Rise of the Red Axe These three storylines have not been updated for over eight months... Get with the program, Jagex.
  2. Wow, this is an example of how pitiful the RS community has become. An update isn't even out yet and people are already fantasizing about ways to exploit and take advantage of it. However, that is good thinking, but I doubt it will work how anybody expects. Just wait and see before you devise strategies
  3. They need to step away from combat-themed quests, because they are doomed to be a disappointment. The closest thing that came to a challenge in a combat-based quest was the RFD bosses... If you had to fight them all one after the other, resetting if you left the arena, it would've been a true challenge. However, as it is, you can leave and restock on food, negating any challenge it might have given. I want more quests like Monkey Madness and ME Part 2, that are largely puzzle based.
  4. Rofl, yeah.... A company that delivers FPS games would team up with a company that delivers RPGs. :boohoo: Uh...Valve has loaned the Source engine to several RPG's. It's even used in racing and puzzle games. Srsly? I didn't know that. :ohnoes:
  5. Rofl, yeah.... A company that delivers FPS games would team up with a company that delivers RPGs. :boohoo:
  6. You know, it would actually make Castle Wars far more interesting if they designed it similarly to TF, in that you could chose from several different classes when you click on a portal, that have various bonuses (A Scout class would have a significantly reduced base weight, a Medic could heal himself and teammates for more HP than normal, a Sentinel would have increased attack attributes but not be able to run, an Engineer could set up various traps and lay barricades that have increased hitpoints, etc) You could use CW tickets to upgrade classes so that their abilities become stronger.
  7. To be honest, it could be 100x bigger than Keldagrim, but if it has no teleport or easy method of reaching it, it will be just as underused and vacant as Keldagrim.
  8. Due to your apparent lack of grammar skills, I'd say you're actually quite stupid. The irony is killing me. Would you like to buy a period and a shift key? Then I am Helen, the most beautiful woman in the world. FIGHT OVER ME, MEN! :XD: Roofies should do the trick. :uhh:
  9. Yay, more stuff to make ranged and melee even more overpowered, while completely neglecting magic. =D>
  10. +1. Until I got my first Skill Cape in April, I had to keep up with every one of those stupid quests :x. Fremminik Isles was ownage though, one of my favorite quests ever. Some of the recent quests like Grim Tales, Path of Glouphire, and Back To My Roots are pretty high level. However "high level" to Jagex is like 71 WC and 95 combat . So what? Those aren't levels that just everyone has - they can take a fair amount of time. A quest aimed at level 110s would be pretty damn limited. Similarly, they're going to have to build up the quest requirements slowly if they do ever reach a point that will satisfy the 100+ or 110+ bracket. Honestly, a quest that required you to be level 110 combat to start it would make the Quest Cape actually somewhat honorable to wear. You forget how many people achieved 110+ during the PC Era.
  11. SUMMONING. WILL. NEVER. BE. MADE. It would lag the hell out of the game; Java can't support something like that.... It would be like world 2 falador, everywhere, if people could summon NPCS. I think it'll either be the expansion to the east (Asian-themed lands), the "high level island", or the release of MechScape.
  12. Around February, they churned out half-baked quests like there was no tomorrow. It was sickening, to be honest. I am glad they toned it down.
  13. Most likely, the "big success" they refer to is either MechScape or the High Level Island that was talked about so long ago.
  14. For one, I don't think Jagex knows their game well enough to figure that out. Secondly, I do not think they will be able to use the shop to buy players' items... Seeing as their accounts are currently configured so that the server prevents them from trading with other players.
  15. So do you think I should hold on to my bandos stuff and my GS or sell them?
  16. How do you think the Great Exchange will effect the prices of the upper-end luxury items, such as rares, dragon armor, bandos/armadyl armor, and godswords? Should I sell mine in case the prices drop?
  17. Why do they keep focusing on THIS storyline, when it is more developed than all the other ones. They need to finish the Red Axe and Mourning's Ends, FFS.
  18. The GE update has the potential to turn the economy inside-out if Jagex doesn't put some sort of restrictions in place. As stated in another thread, people with a lot of money could buy up all of one type of item and then resell it at a much higher price.
  19. I think they may be alluding to the "high level island." However, knowing Jagex's loose interpretation of "high level" in the past, level 80s will be allowed on the island.
  20. That is so hawt! I want 1  Why do mods get to have all the fun -.- THEY DONT... its just they have more time in their hands that is wasted in rs... That's where you're wrong. When they become a mod, they get a mod account and they get to choose what he wears, from every item in the game. He didn't train himself to 99 slayer. :wall: Correct. Mod Accounts are special accounts that can only be operated from the Jagex Building. They can modify their stats as they wish and give themselves any item in the game, and even items that aren't released yet; however, Jagex mods cannot interact with other players other than talking.
  21. Gotta hate the noobs. Kinda like the level 78 I saw get a 3rd Age Kite from a clue chest.
  22. I remember back a long time ago when I was convinced it was Karajama. I still pronounce it like that even today, despite know it is spelled Karamja.
  23. Heh, the first person to 99 hits was Ifckedurmum, who was banned shortly after achieving 99 hits :P I remember Zonghui, and the race between Gearshifter and Lilyuffie88 to get 94 prayer (I think that is what it took... Don't remember.. Anyway, it was for 123 combat, which was the max back in RSC) I actually trained at Taverly Blue Dragons with both Gearshifter and Lilyuffie88...
  24. Sorry about not cropping, but it would take away from the picture if I cropped it. This kid made about a page full of spam threads and then they all showed up hidden at the same time. :-$
