It's definitely not for everyone. But if you can afford it, the Sara GS lets you do things you simply cannot do in any other way.. even with Guthans. I can do assignments of 150+ Aberrant Specters with a single trip and 1 p pot with the Sara GS. Guthans can't be used there, and would be a hassle even if it could. Other monsters... I've done tests where without the Sara GS I could kill 150 in a trip, and with it, over 400. It completely revolutionizes Barrows. You can go into Ahrim's crypt with no prayer, spec him to heal and get a few prayer points, then put on Protection from Mage to finish him off. Same with Karil... saves a couple of whole p pots per trip, and is faster.. and time is money. Besides, what else am I going to do with my gold, spend it on a useless Burger King hat? :) If you have the money, the Sara GS is worth it. ~q Yeah, I could afford one if I sold my bandos plate, tassets, Zammy GS, and DFS. But tbh, that's not worth it to me.

I was referring to both the Saradomin and Armadyl GS. Sara is down to 110m now, but I still would rather buy 1k prayer pots and full guthans. That's like 14m, and it will very likely last you until 99 slayer.

I prefer my Zammy Godsword. A special attack isn't worth paying double or triple the price, tbh. Also, I do cws frequently, so Zammy is a big help there.

Mmkay, I bought 2.1k d bones, which will get me to 81 prayer.

I am currently debating to raise my prayer from 78 to 81 (optimized 123 combat)... I have around 4m spare cash, so I could afford it... Should I go through with it? Also, what is the formula for how many points each pot heals? I seem to remember it being every 3 levels is one point.

Well, I agree mostly... However, high levels have a right to moan about the Assist System, not because it devalues levels (it doesn't) but because it created a mentality that begging is totally acceptable. High levels are plagued relentlessly by lower levels who follow and beg for assistance. A simple way for them to fix this is to make the 30k exp work for both parties, in that someone cannot "give" more than 30k exp total each day. This would effectively stop people from going from person to person leeching off their resources. Also, they NEED a toggle follow option.

I keep saying that Jagex needs to add a random that gives around 1k defense experience for completing it. I hate pures because most of them are immature, belligerent [wagon]. I am all for phasing them out.

Two brews!? Ok thats really like overkill. Not sure about for higher lvls, as a lvl 100, one brew works good enough for me. The max hit from dark bow can't actually KO you at one shot. Its attack speed is so slow you probably can drink brew 3-4 before he attacks again and at most around 6 arrows at you before entangle timer runs out. Most people just use dds spec since thats what dhide is weak against. Abyss bracelet is a real waste of diamonds.. really. I like tip 4) though : Eh, well... I somewhat agree with you; this is just what my friend does. He doesn't care about the extra inventory space, as he double-crafts natures so it makes a marginal difference in profit per hour. Also, he is power RCing to 99, so he values safety over efficiency. It's pretty damn hard to die with two brews. Losing pouches and having to get them back consumes a lot of time that could've otherwise been spent RCing.

It's a bit bizarre that your melee stats are that low, when you are 2016 total :anxious: Grats on the prayer levels :mrgreen: By the way, it's not surprising that she was able to get two prayer levels in one day. As long as you can stand the constant clicking, prayer is one of the fastest (albeit the second most expensive) skills to train, especially if you have someone light the altar for you. It's actually somewhat calming to train, too.

RC Pking is fine. However, being an asshat about it is not fine. I mean, why add insult to injury? What's even more irritating is that with stupid Miniclippers like that guy who killed you, if you bank and get full gear, they will just call you a noob and teleport away, instead of actually fighting you when you are prepared. Honestly, though.... I have a few tips for anti-RC-PKing. 1) Wear Karils Armor... Yeah, so it is around 400k to replace... If you are careful, you won't ever die. If you are worried about replacing it, just wear an abyssal brace. It's totally worth the risk. 2) Bring two sara brews. Your stats don't matter, so the brews are ideal. I guarantee they will not be able to deal 160 points of damage before you can teletab/run to the mage, unless they are 99 ranged and get an insanely lucky special attack with a Dark Bow. Hell, if you ever see someone wielding a Dark Bow, teletab out immediately. 3) If they teleblock, run. If they tangle, teletab. 4) Watch for any people around you level who are sitting by the building with men in it, as well as people standing around in level 3-4 wilderness. That building with men in it is a scout spot for RC Pkers; they wait there to look for potential targets. If they see you appear at the glory spot skulled, they wait to see if you run out there and then reappear. As you're banking after they see you reappear, they run out to the hill and pot up, waiting for you to appear on the minimap so they can tb you. Sure you'll lose a few spaces by bringing the brews, but it beats having to get back your pouches. You may look me up and see that I am only a lowly 55 RC, but I got all this advice from a friend of mine who is 97 RC. I believe he is level 115; his name is Tylerthe, if you doubt I am telling the truth. That kid sometimes abyss RCs in a black cav, just as a taunt to RC pkers; he's insanely difficult to kill because of these strategies he uses.

How about this? The range in cooking guild bank is even more overpowered. The range is just 3-5 steps from the bank and of course a range would burn less than a fire. The fire in Rogue's Den is still closer to the bank, and your cooking level is largely irrelevant for much of the way to 99, as at 67 cooking + gauntlets, you never burn lobsters, which are the primary food used to train.

berzerker has same str bonus as neiteznot, bandos has same str bonus as torso so its not worth it Bandos > Torso by 8 slash defense, around 28 stab defense, and 30 crush defense, as well as around 70 ranged defense. Oh, and it gives a complimentary +1 prayer bonus.

Honestly, the fire in Rouge's Den is overpowered. It never goes out, and it is literally one to three steps from a bank.

ZGS is already back down to 44-44.5m. I was lucky and was able to ride the merchant [bleep]e; I paid 43.5 for mine a while ago, and sold it today for 47.5. Then, two hours later.... Bought another for 44m.

When the ranting and raving has devolved to mass-spamming and the thread is going so fast that rational people can't discuss issues without their threads getting lost, then it has become chaos and anarchy. And it has. [/hide] Such threads are locked, like on any forum. As long as things are under control, it is not anarchy, nor chaos. Not only have these threads not been locked, one of them is stickied. Despite that, dozens of new threads on the same topics are created every hour. All of which are devoid of any thought or even understanding of the topic at hand. It gets a bit better during the day when the kiddies are at school not getting an education. The update accomplishes nothing that wasn't already there. The only negative aspect to it is that it encourages begging; however, that is seldom what all the irrational masses rant about. Honestly, it does not devalue skills, because I guarantee that no level 99 smith will "assist" a random level 20 noob in making full rune. There is no difference between "assisting" a low level in making rune and just making rune and giving it away. It's the same thing, only because of the package it is presented in, the noobs fly all over it and accuse Jagex of "catering to the noobs." Granted, it is by no means perfect, as mentioned earlier with the "begging" epidemic.

This update changed very little, as 95% of people would rather catch their own sharks than have someone else do it for them, as by doing it themselves, they receive both the exp and the resource. However, this update seems to have encouraged begging and made it seem like an acceptable practice, so now many high levels are being constantly harassed by noobs to "assist plz."
