The smithing update sounds stupid. The skills is currently useless and the update wont change that ? Where are the new untradeable weapons/armors ?
-
No, they actually email now. I got an email regarding the ban of my pure, though the email had no links, just told me to check the ingame inbox.
-
I stopped caring about reviews years ago. I like it, and i don't give a crap what others think.

70-85 herby is going to cost me 50m. Remember, don't buy herbs now. People are panicking and prices will return to normal a couple of days before the event.
-
Herb supplys already bought out. Not good, not good.

Jagex Limited receives growth investment from new investors
FIREWORKS replied to pal2002's topic in General Discussion
Hopefully Jagex will keep the direction they're heading in at the moment (getting closer with the community). I'd hate if 2007 happened all over again. -
Why If Jagex did that noone will continue botting on the account, because they'll get perm'd the next time they'll get caught. They'll just create a new acc. Perm banning is the only solution. I support perm bans on first offence. No reset [cabbage] ( except when dealing with rwt, i think removing the items is fair enough ).
-
Simply banning the offending account solves this dilemma. I think a total wipeout (no pun intended) would be better. Remove all exp (except HP which would go to 10), all completed quests and all the items on the account. 1. Person won't need to create new account. 2. Jagex can keep an eye on an account that has been charged with botting before. 3. Removing everything would leave the player with pretty much the same stuff as if the account was just made. That is absolutely pointless.

Mtk + dailies + farming herbs can get you your 30m in a month for basically doing nothing. You can easily skill/slay on the side
-
I support this decision. I don't really see the harm in this as long as they're resetting the botted stats. Anyway, they're not even offering this option. Me and my friends, we have all checked our banned acc's, no way to buy them back. Sure, but have fun with lvl 10 flat...

What's the highest amount of peoples online on RS?
FIREWORKS replied to deyan2's topic in General Discussion
I think that the new peak (players returning because of free trade/wildy) has been already reached even though the updates haven't been launched yet. Everybody who's interested has already returned and started prepping. I'd say the amount of players will start going downhill again about a month from now. -
Seems like i'll be buying a crapload of gold ore...

Wilderness and Free Trade Interview!!! - Answers On First Post!
FIREWORKS replied to n_odie's topic in General Discussion
 Somebody doesn't know how basic industry works. Not a big surprise, from somebody who thinks buying out X item to cause an artificial supply/deman imbalance is "merchanting". Don't worry bro, nobody will miss the guys buying out antifire potions. Free trading is coming, your fate is sealed, banned or not. Actualy, I never mentioned buying anything. And may I ask, What "industry"? We are talking about a game here. Anyone who thinks Runescape is anything other than a game eather works for Jagex (It's there business), Is praying on people who are to lazy or unwilling to play the game and thus get whatever it is they want (RWT), or are in need of psychological help. It's a GAME. If you want antifire pots, do what it takes to make them. Or be willing to pay the price to those who did the "work" and made them for you. But don't got all bet out of shape becouse some people want to play the game in a diferant way than you do. If they want to prentend that they are some kind of Runescape Walmart or something, let them. Just play the game and ignore them. Everything in this game can be had by anyone willing to to do what it takes to go get it. That's the whole point of playing. To earn the rewards in exchange for the effort you put in. And this brings me back to the question I asked before. What "drought in supplies"? What is the reason for you not being able to play the game and not get or make what you want? Is the game to hard? Is it to boring to do the "work"?Do you not know how to do it? The guides here on Tip.it are exelant in helping with that. Or are you really taking an online, Java based, computer game that seriously?:ohnoes: What does the whole thing have to do with the fact that the game's java based ? would you take it more seriously if it was written in c++ ? -

It is to stop people from manually dropping their items when they're going to die for sure, just to spite the person who's killing them. I guess. Exactly that, dropping items they'd otherwise lose (or protect over other items) so they can often run back and pick them back up when they die. Except that right now, you can't drop anything worth over 1k while in combat...But If that's the reason, I'm satisfied, because it sounds fair. It sounds stupid. :P Instead of the person killing you getting your stuff, your friend can pick your stuff up for you. :P Are there any answers about what will happen to shops? This will affect me a lot because I'm buying 1k yak hides a day atm and selling them for 700gp each (for around 2.5m gp profit/hr, more if I sell the hides for more) and if they add unlimited stock back or something this won't be possible. Also, what about the chaos tunnels? They've moving some stuff out but I haven't read about them. Also, I don't think bringing potions/borrowed into the wilderness hasn't been thought through: what if you wanna go in the chaos tunnels or kill the KBD/Chaos Elemental or something with borrowed dragon claws and overloads? Nothing about these changes sound good to me (they didn't initially either) and If there was a referendum now after seeing the big picture, I would expect it to be pretty close compared to what the results were. The same applies for killing steels and irons in Ghorrock. I guess if you want to take extremes there, you're euchred ... One of the trusted fansites (can't remember which one) was given an updated 'dynamic map' by Jagex that showed a new entrance to the Ghorrock fortress from a non wildy area so it's probably safe to say that extremes will still be allowed there. Link please. -
11 with juju is way too high. I usually get 8-9 per patch with juju/scroll/secateurs/supercompost.
-
4m per hour ? I don't think so. I'd say max 2m per day.
-
L O L This is ridiculous.

400 commons caught, no ugune.
-
To think of it, 07 was probably the worst year for rs.
-
Been playing since late 03/very early 04 and i prefer the game the way it is now. Only a certain shift in community would be nice. And wilderness... I sure did love merching back then but GE is just too convinient. Anyway, people have always complained "RS SUCKS NAO, BRING BACK *2yearsearlier* RUNESCAPE" . Back in 07 everyone complained "BRING BACK RUNESCAPE THE WAY IT WAS IN 05" Yes, the whole efficiency crap is killing the game at the moment.
-
Getting ugune seeds is hard at that level. I've recently caught circa 250 common jadinkos, i've gotten plenty of different seeds, but 0 ugune seeds.
-
This is one of the stupidest things I have ever read.
