Do you know how running works? In the old days, players traded essence to crafters, the crafters turned the ess to runes, and traded the runes back to the players. Now, crafters assist players who make the runes themselves, but the crafter gets the XP. Runners already have talismans, because you need one to get into the altar. -.-

Now they've put an end to what we asked them to put an end to, and you have the nerve to say they went "too far"? Do your homework on this matter. We wanted RWTers gone. They're gone now. Why aren't you satisfied? First, count the number of autoer rants before the update. Then, count the number of rants about the update. Yep, Jagex went too far. Fortunately, they'll more than likely take a few steps backward (still keeping ahead of the RWT line) once their subscriber count dips below 1,000,000.

But wouldn't the person need rune bars to be able to "receive" the gift? nope, they'd need runite ore and coal and smelt the bars thru him neither of which are that hard to get Of course, if you'd ever mined runite ore, you'd know that the price of a single ore is over 12,000 coins and that I would not be able to give even one to another person. They would not only have to pay for the ore, but they'd be paying more for the armor now that the price for the raw materials needed to make armor far exceed those of the end product. In the end, they would have been better off buying the entire set themselves for much cheaper than I could ever have manufactured it. Unbelievable. I'm willing to bet 20m that Jagex will raise the difference-between-trade AND the drop cap to at least 50k. Of course, if I'm wrong, there's no way I can give you the money.

Well, if you don't have time to write, you should just revise what you have so far, like I've been doing. Every professional writer revises their stories. There are a lot of problems with formatting. You have to indent whenever a new person speaks. But I like the story itself.

Am I the only one who noticed that they're giving information about the development process, but not a lot for the actual skill? Oh, and the chicken came before the egg. :D

First, it's not an FPS. Second, it's time-consuming. They're very smart for not choosing a game where you have to work for levels. Why should you work in a game? Jagex needs to make RS a bit less grind-based and add some more (challenging) quests (that... actually take skill) with nice XP rewards.

I'm going to have to agree with you, Qeltar. With rares, people are encouraged to accumulate vast sums of coins that are otherwise quite useless. As a result, they are not enjoying the actual game, but are obsessed with obtaining money.
