There was always time, if one uses the example previously give, as a measurement of change then one can argue, there was time before the Big Bang. Time is fleeting, and those who witness it can say it can hardly be seen at all. If time is a measure of change every instant, one change occurs for every atom in the Universe. 10 raised to the power of 800. How can you even, record measure, compute and analyze those changes ? Hate to be the bringer of bad news but, This is rather subjective, you cant make sweeping generalisations that "boys are more mature than girls, or vice versa" Mature how ? Sexually, emotionally, behaviour-wise, chemically. One could argue you are not mature untill you are past 18, legally an adult. Again this is a self imposed boundary. How can you even define mature ? By the way they speak? By the number of hairs in their armpits ? But to add something meaningfull to this discussion, I think girls generally "mature" before boys.

Vegetarianism is a trivial topic, no one is "born" vegetarian. They are influenced (religion, parents etc...) I agree to some extent morals can be viewed differently based on your perspective. However somethings are universal, life and death. Regarding your example about the American and the British, I wouldn't really know. But as you hae explained it, then definitley.
