  1. I haven't updated my blog in a while even after finishing TWW but that's because I'm a lazy blah... Still working on 80 base for my skills and I haven't made much progress except for 92 prayer but I have a good reason. In any event, I predict agility will be my next 80. I got 77 for RotM, then 78 through the wonders of Netflix, Arrested Development, and soon to be Futurama I'll be drying up my Skoll boots and pendants. I'm also close to the last crafting level I need for RotM. 56k to go. Good thing I have 4 1/2 seasons of Fry, Leela, and Bender left. So for the rest of this week and next week I'll be working on doing all the Seer' Village Task for the EEE and getting The Chosen Commander and RotM done, after which I'll get a new Bulmung. Now, the reason why I made so little progres in RS is because I got 3 new games in the last few weeks. I preorder Metal Gear Rising: Revengance and Tomb Raider. I also bought Okami HD for PSN so I'm currently playing the last game I got. I haven't gotten far into my games because I wasn't sure which one I'd start off with first, but after falling in love with the colors and music, I decided to stick with Okami longer than any of the other 3. In fact, when I get back to my dorm in about 2 hours, I'll be playing Okami. I might squeeze some Tomb Raider in there once I access Ryoshima Coast and Sei-an. I [cabbage] love the music there! Right now I have to enter Argata(?) Forest which to be honest, isn't my favorite place. Currently in Tomb Raider I have to go find a pack of wolves to get some kit back, but I haven't figured out how to get to the top of the mountain yet which proves I suck. As for Revengance, I'm just enetring the plant factory place. But I'll be making progress on that too. Anyway that's all. Lots of gaming, homework, and chicken this weekend.
  2. My very last game is Okami HD thou I recently got Tomb Raider. So currently I'm playing both. Having play Okami before I know when I'll reach about the mid and end part. I've got to juggle between those two and Metal Gear Rising. Sadly I get paid today, so I fear I'll be buying minecraft...
  3. I am a black lady and I can comfirm this. All I kept yelling was "NOOOOOOOO....[cabbage]! NOOOOOOOOO! STOP! STOP!" By episode end I was so pumped I need to take a moment for reflection...
  4. They all laughed at him in Avatar 1 for getting his cart crushed every episode. He laughed at us in Avatar 2 when we saw he had a multi-billion dollar corporation... Also hai! I'm new here.
  5. You see Jason! I now know everytime you say "I'm sorry [cabbage] but I have no money for you, otherwise I'd give you some", you lie! ARRRGGG!
  6. Combat is actually more varied. Those with the money may use Arma cbow and even the cheapest of use can use black salamanders. Why? They are the same tier and thus share the same damage and accuracy. But a black sally doesn't look very cool does it? Also, the abilities are actually there...havoc is basically a dclaw special attack. The only difference now is that it can be applied to all dual weilding weapons. The zammy spear special attack, that a basic stun now. The Dark bow and Magic bow special, that's the 2 Shot ability. The special attacks are there, just applicable to multiple weapons, with the goal of giving players a re varity of things to use and as mentioned beofre, keep crappy weapon from being 12m.
  7. That assumption was based on what we got told when they released the new bestiary, which would only run on Chrome. I don't know about any others, but Firefox 19 currently has HTML5 support. I'm sure that by the time RS3 goes live we should be able to use any browser we want. This is likely due to a quality assurance thing where they disable support in non-chrome browsers. That or each browser implements some things differently (Firefox can be notorious for doing this sometimes). Probably Jagex only tested bestiary in Chrome. That or they simply haven't coded in work-arounds for the other browsers that don't support features in exactly the same way and the bestiary breaks due to this. Thank you. Kaida is right, I was going off that assumption and being told eariler that Firefox had a bug that they couldn't fix. I swear you guys know all I need to know for computers. I should hit you all up more. :P
  8. True enough. I always thought that their original plan was to release EoC with HTML5 thus making a much more clear distinction between RS2 and RS3, but they were pushed into releasing EoC early at the corporate level. After all, the release of HD with RuneTek 4/5 didn't make it RS3. While I realize this will be both a graphical and an engine update I think the addition of the new combat system (EoC) at the same time would have made it clearer. Just imagine what EoC could have been with six or seven more months of development and testing. Yeah. A lot of bugs that we got with the release could have been avoided and some better feedback from players. With that said, while I am worried I feel this will come out better than EoC did, since we've known for some time Jagex was planning this. But still with only a month or two of Beta testing? Given what you said eariler then it certainly makes since for a June releae and even make since why they extended the time to buy Gold P2P into beginning Feb. But as far as I know, only one browser can do HTML5. Not much of a hassel to download Crome to play but do we really want Jagex to be a first mover into this. I'm excited about it, but I'll be crushed if this turns out as bad as how other content was released because of a rush job.
  9. And thus my choice to save some money for a 3ds instead of buying the gold pack comes back to haunt me. Not that I regret it :twss: My $75 paid off...but I wished I saved it and the $120+ i spend on Tomb Raider, Revenagance, and Okami HD to buy a 3DS for the FE and soon-to-be Vita Coffin which is the new pokemon. And I just heard Donkey Kong Country Returns will be on the 3DS too. :|
  10. [hide] Because fanboy and fangirl like to take every chance they get. So either continue to tell them to [cabbage] off or ignore them. Back to topic, I just watch this video (yay subtitles) and now I am pumped. However, having RS3 coming in the summer doesn't leave a lot of time considering we are in March. I'm incline to think this is a late summer summer release. I am excited about everything really, but I wonder how bad having only done selective quest effect you now. It's been discussed that your character doen't really move on until you finish every quest beofre TWW so having done it, every quest I do now before TWW is a flashback. Will they just work on the bases that you have to do every quest from TWW or will you still be able to avoid a good part of them. Also I wonder what the first quest would be? Early summer is feasible IMO. I mean we've known they are working on html5 and subsequently RS3 since before EoC, the bestiary has almost been out for a month and that uses some of the back engine and we've heard for Mod Pips a while back april beta was planned. As for TWW: TWW and all its prerequisites (aka basically most quests in rs) are the past and will soon have heads up when you start to say this. Playing them now is essentially a flashback to things that have already happened. Ground 0 no quest Rs as it stands now assumes all the events of those quests have happened and will build on them even in noob level quests. [/hide] Oh. I did not realize there was a planned April Beta. I haven't kept up with most news until later in my P2P (as most of it didn't apply to me). As to TWW, I guess it doesn't matter if you've done them or not then. Good thing thing TWW was made an easy requirement to start, it doesn't a good job telling you what you need to know without spoiling too much. I don't think so. This would be a perfect way to entice people back while they're off school. If this gets delayed until August they'll have lost a lot of potential membership revenue that could have been generated by releasing it in May or June. That's true. I didn't think of it that way...but then even as a high school student, I played more than in the summer oddly... I know they've been working on it for a while, but I'm just worried something will go wrong as usual. Even with the time alredy put into it I don't want it to head down the path EoC did in terms of how it was handled (rush job). I'd be fine with a delay despite it being announce. There are some videogames I've played that I wish developers delayed long.
  11. I like the firework around that rock. Looks like you had a party. :D I also see your windows 8 and raise you a new hard drive

  13. Damn. I guess I'll have to work up to gettig that then. On the same note, what would be a near equal/equal range weapon to use? I have heard that Armadyl Cbow isn't bad as well as Karil's. Which would you all suggest? And I'm curious as to why (if you wish to explain). The royal crossbow is a tier 80 bolt range weapon, so and equal weapon is the chaotic crossbow. Armadyl and Karil's are tier 70 but good range bolt weapons. However, Arma is expensive and Karil's degrade so a much cheaper alternative to both is the Black Salamander. It is the same tier so it has the same accurancy and damage. But like Karil's and bolt racks, you can only use Harralander tar as ammo. As for TWW question, that is not all the rewards. You get a cosmetic item and 6th age circuit for doing all those listed quest above, as well as new slayer monsters which also drop new gloves for each class and a pet. Also doing RotM allows you to upgrade your Bulmung to a stronger weapon which I hear is good alround and great on Dags.
  14. and thus my $75 at the end of Decemeber paid off. Too bad I'm at work and can't watch this now...or can I?
  15. I forgot to mention murmur is only marginally better at .1% but nearly 8x the cot as a ranging amulet. Exp quest rewards for TWW: Pale lamp granting 250,000 Prayer experience (requires at least 80 Prayer) Glossy lamp granting 110,000 Slayer experience (requires at least level 70 Slayer) 3 Ancient lamps granting 100,000 experience in three different skills above level 75. 3 Static lamps granting 50,000 experience each in any combat skill above level 65 You can prayer at Guthix's alter 1 time for 100k prayer exp (requires 90 prayer) I hear if you don't have the lvls for some, just destory them and reclaim them later.
  16. Alright, I see. Well as I said, I do not forsee myself getting the level/tokens needed for both CR and CS for a few weeks/a month, so I don't necessarily need to make this choice right now. On the note of Chaotics, I should get BOTH Rapier offhand/regular before getting any other ones, correct? Still trying to figure out what the best amulet/boots are if anyone would like to inform me. :P Also, I have decided that for the first weekend atleast, I am going to quest (finishing off all those new, weird F2P quests, right now) and maybe even do some more coming into next week. I currently have 183 QP and want to probably get that up to ~230/250 depending on what I can do levels-wise in the next few weeks. Priority-wise, which quests should be MUST? Temple of Sennisten, I have on my list, as well as the World Wakes, what other quests/quest lines are extremely beneficial that I should do ASAP? I also will be buying 70 Prayer this weekend and hopefully getting it even before questing (this will depend, I guess). Questions in bold for TL; DR. As mentioned before, do all the quest you can. The ones that benefit you the most are quest that give out free exp to use on any skill and quest with weapon items. Because of the added benefits after TWW you should do the goblin series. You won't be able to do RotM but I suggest working to get there then doing it. I don't know what quest you've done but you should go for every quest related to TWW. That is The Chosen Commander, RotM, The Void Stares Back, BoD, and Firemakers Curse. Ideally a quest cape is what you'd want since many of the good rewards come from the end or near end of quest lines. Priority priority wise, do Roving Elves for the Crystal Bow and TWW for the free combat exp. For boots and amulets considering on a budget. Melee: Dragon boots and Glory. If you happen to own Bandos boots before EoC then keep them. Best: Steadfast and Saradomin's whisper Magic: Ganodermic boots and Arcane Stream. Best: Ragefire and Arcane Stream Range: Spined unless you can afford Arma and amulet of ranging. Best: Glaiven and Saradomin's murmur. Ring wise you'd want to do all the quest for the 6th age circuit which is the best ring in game and hybrid. Otherwise you can buy a Berserker ring to save money. Note: Waterfiends are hard to kill with a crystal bow, so you'd do better to buy a black salamander and kill Black demons.
  17. The Wilderness is the Wilderness and I get it. I shouldn't enter it for the rewards it has if I don't want to die. But honestly, I just want to spy on one of two pengs. I don't wanna mine rune rocks or train on monsters out there. It's not very fun when pk'er takes cheap shots at you knowing you won't fight back. The serious lack of honor is what bothers me at even that level bothers me. I'd understand if I had something on me to lose. But it's not like the pengs give me money on the spot. So it really just waste my time when that happens. But it is what it is, and as said before, you must expect death to go in, so I just dust my shoulders off and die until I get what I want.
  18. I wasn't saying the I think as a whole they were good. Just saying some seems good. Also I missed a whole lot of lore because I still have a whole lost of quest to do. So granted I don't know much about the White Knights I can only go based off what I know, or remember. Also, I know the H.A.M guys are over the top and I wasn't really counting them at all. But whatever...*shrug*
  19. It appears all of Saradomins follws are looking kinda crazy right now, but not all of his followers are like that. In fact, all of the white knight appear to be strictly good, including Sir Owen. And almost every Saradomin prist I talk to seems to be against killing. Which begs the question, where would some of these followers loyality lie if they really knew thier god? But to answer your first question, Saradomin. Then feed Zammy to Zaros. I like Zaros (Guthix more) and Arma seems pretty chill.
  20. Congrats! But let's make that 8 more years, yes?
  21. Hello. Welcome back. Unoffical TIF friendchat be HYT (Serpent Eye).
  22. 1) While fletching is a PoP related skill, it does not get you into PoP. You need a 90 in fishing, herblore, prayer, slayer, thieving, or runecrafting. If you want to get to PoP quickly, get to 90 fishing. Otherwise it benefits you to get 90 herblore or prayer to do special missions that would put you 93 fletching to use. 2) Barrows is good armor to own for training and boss hunting. Using the best training spots, with the best exp rates and being all, in total the repair cost would still be less than buying bandos. This is speaking just for training to 99 in str. A godsword is also a good weapon for melee. For magic, invest in a staff of light or better. If you somehow make more money, get at least an Ahrims wand. Dual wield has also improved so you could look into that. To train your combat stats, do it through slayer since you'll be looking to level that anyway if wanting to get a lot out of PoP or 99. Also, do more quest. For example the crystal bow is a good range weapon making it a great quest reward. 3) Yes you should get Chaotics. Best way to dung is still in large dungs with 4 other people. Also do sinkholes. 4) Test abilities on lower lvl monster and see what you like. All the abilities, including defense. Then build your bar accordingly. More than likely, depending on what you are doing, your bar will still change, so don't build a basic bar thinking it works for GWD and slayer. I suggest each combat style bar should have one stun. 5) You can skill whenever, just know you won't be able to do certain things until a certain level. For example, unless you have super antifires, it's better to block dragon task. Also, solo GWD is hard without 92 prayer. 6) Bossing is still a goodway to make money. Barrows is still decent for cash, thou not for runes. One can also farm herbs and do mtk. Fletching is still profitable if making unstrung bows. Merchanting, however; is the best way to make money.
  23. I used to role play in various forums my friend started. I was looking for role playing but in like 3d and somehow ran across Tactics Core Arena. Then I started playing it online and someone started talking about RS. Then sometime later I ran across it in an internet search in 2005 when I couldn't remember the name of TAO but used my usually "online fantasy search" keywords in Google.
  24. I think Alg meant for this not to be a response when he said
