  1. Level 100 in one skill =/= level 99 in two skills. That's not how RS works. 100 dg trims 99 dg. HP =/= DG.

That would still increase the rate of items coming into the game. There is nothing wrong with the hood drop rate at the moment anyways, it's supposed to be a hard to obtain item.
  3. Having a skiller actually speeds up the dungeon a lot in P2P, if they grow bucks/lycos you can turm and strong pot every gd + the boss, which saves much more time than an extra person would.
  4. Articultural replied to gremmy's topic in Rants
    Make that 3. :P
  5. The point of binding a sag body is that when your hood gets disabled by one mage in a room full of rangers, you can pray range and take a lot less damage. It also boosts range accuracy by a lot, which helps with hex.
  6. Level 100 in one skill =/= level 99 in two skills. That's not how RS works.
  7. A lot of good suggestions, but many of them are overpowered or not needed. The bind bank kind of defeats the point of specialisation, if you could lots of items and swap between floors, you wouldn't have to choose between, say, binding laws instead of a surgebox for c1s. The whole point of binds is that you can't have the best of everything and just swap around whenever you feel like it, if you want to swap to an entirely different style of playing, you have to sacrifice your bound items. Maybe just increasing the max amount of binds by 1 or 2 (by means a quest or reward bought by tokens/etc) would work better. The hood suggestion seems a bit ridiculous, hoods aren't *that* rare (I've personally had 3 hood drops since Warped came out) and you can easily do a dungeon without a hood. They are supposed to be for players who take the time to get them, I could use the same argument for a hexhunter bow, should I be guarenteed a bow with slightly worse stats that has the same special effect just because I don't have one? Challlenge room rewards don't really seem neccessary, but would be nice extras. Provided they aren't overpowered (considering their rarity) or not good enough for people to want to bind them, they would be a nice idea. Kind of like an addition to slayer monster drops, for people without high Slayer levels. PvP Dungeoneering sounds like lots of fun, it would probably work best as a minigame, obviously giving less XP than normal dungeons (so people don't just grind it). A good idea would be to implement PvP Dungeoneering-only rewards (akin to the Void deflector from Conquest or PvP armour drops (tradeable or untradeable)), that are similar to Dungeoneering rewards, but still worth getting. It would be a nice addition to Dungeoneering, while not being as efficient (XP-wise) as actually training so that people just do it for fun. :) Race Dungeoneering sounds like it could have lots of problems, it would work if it was another style of PvP Dungeoneering (a minigame) for skillers, perhaps. :P It defnitely shouldn't give faster XP than the current methods (especially not a boost in XP over the current rate for the winner), as then clans would be created and a problem would arise similar to the 50-50 GOP issue. Pickpocketing sounds more annoying than helpful, maybe it could work in PvP dungeons though, rebalancing weapons with addons is a great idea, and I'm sure Jagex will add more in future (considering the success of the longbow sight). I actually quite like the randoms (other than mazes), they only take a few minutes at the most and give free XP. :) Overall, a great list of ideas, just some needs tweaks, but I'd be more than happy for Jagex to implement most of them. :D
  8. While we're randomly adding 21 levels onto skills, I think they should make Dungeoneering go to 141. Who's with me?
  9. Oh, don't get me wrong, I have nothing against the idea of 120s. In fact, I'd prefer if all stats went up to 120 (and Jagex would work towards trying to increase the max XP by swapping to 64bit instead of 32bit). I just don't see why Constitution should be boosted and the rest left at 99, especially as there is so much space to expand the constitution skill already (IIRC, there are only three things in RS that require a HP level).
  10. You could just bind a sagittarian body. :P
  11. So, hypothetically, if Jagex were to decide to raise HP to 120 because you get so much extra XP, why not raise other skills to 120 too? I have enough XP for over 99 in almost every level 99 I have, why should my HP be raised above 99 but not any of my other post-99 skills?

I've had 2 hood drops since Warped came out. :P

  14. Not exactly what we were supposed to discuss; but lets go for it! You have to consider if the superior melee and ranged defence of the primal platebody, could make it a better option than the ward. The ward has decent maged defence. With both platebody and ward, if only 1 style was attacking you, you would pray against that style. With the Platebody you would pray against magic in a dangerous room with all 3 styles. With ward you wouldn't know what to pray against as for the ward beeing a shield that works with the "tank ring" - its very easy to find an antifire shield Kind of offtopic, but if you bind a primal plate + celestial surgebox then you can still use your tank ring + get +7 Mage defence/attack without losing a bind slot (as box counts as ammo). It's also great for higher tier forgotten warriors.

Did you see what the forum is called? C'mon.. Tif gotta be more intelligent then that. Anyway, why would you want a blood necklace, it sucks, and has no correlation with what else was spoken about. The point isn't whether Blood necklaces suck or not, the point is drops from Slayer monsters in Daemonheim are SUPPOSED to be rare. It's like complaining about not getting a whip when killing abyssal demons, they're called rare drops for a reason. A number of differences. 1. Abby whip is not an essential in order to efficiently do an activity, there are a variety of alternatives or you could just range/mage. 2. Abby whip is tradable, so if your luck sucks, you can always buy the whip off someone, you can't really "buy" a shadow silk hood. A hood isn't essential to dungeoneer efficiently in any way that an abyssal whip wasn't (pre-chaotic & godwars) essential to train Attack or Defence efficiently.
  16. Brutes/guard dogs/etc look different on warped though, as if they're part lava. :P
  17. Demons are still there, black dragons replace red dragons, necromancers don't appear but there are lots of Reborn mages/meleers (from Phoenix's lair), which follow you through rooms.

It's a RARE drop, I've gained over 15M Dungeoneering XP and seen 14 Edimmu without one dropping a Blood necklace, and yet I'm not posting a topic about it.
  21. Oh, I only read the first paragraph. :P The idea with a large range of requirements is that once a player finishes Hard (assuming their levels are around the same), will be able (or close to) starting elite, so they always have a task near their levels to train for. Having a jump of 60 reqs to 90 reqs without any 70/80s would be daunting for players who have just achieved 60 in a skill.
  22. Have they ever really been worth it?
  23. Your own stupidity is in no way Jagex's fault, the reward was perfectly clear.
  24. God forbid players should actually have an incentive to train their stats.
  25. Don't use it then?
