no, its as high priced as it is because of the supply and the demand of the item. the price is really a silly justification of its usefulness. it was useful for a while before summoning came out but now as far as boss fighting goes its beat in every category, sorry. EE seriously has an advantage over it in most situations. i guess you could use it for barrows or slayer, though runescape has evolved past the peak usefulness of the weapon.

refusing to alch the levels isn't getting you anywhere. if you want hp exp might as well do some battle magic.. you could probably do decent at barrows even.

Sell full dharok, verac, and karils and buy dfs + full bandos + bezerk/warrior ring.

before you read my post please note i am a level 96 range 80 defense range tank. 1. if you are lazy you can use long range. for most of mine i used melee with slayer. it works fine then gets a bit tedious into the high 70's of defense. 80 defense was more than worth it. 2. i was at 46 for a long while before getting 52 and then 60 since i'm finding more uses for it. its worth noting that there is a new prayer coming out for presumably 78 prayer that will be great for tanks. also if you plan to get maxed relatively quickly and want to be a succesful hybrid, soul split is yearning for you. 3. yes. range tanks have access to about 99.9% of the game, depending on melee stats you might just miss out on a few 70 str requirements or new quests. since i'm slaying to 99 range i've decided to take a detour to get enhanced excalibur. remember at low levels having high quest points and good quest/minigame perks will be great, especially for pvp. void = win. excalibur = win. BSS = extreme win. zaniks = win. 4. Didn't even think of that. i suppose your right. never take melees above 70-70 I'm at 70-58 right now and have no plans to raise either of them. maxed i believe melee stats can add up to 149 or 154 without becoming melee based. 5. tbh go with 70-50 over 60-60 if you are doing slayer with atk/str pots. as already stated thats what i did. i remember with about 53 str i would hit 22's (now 220's) on slayer tasks and people were amazed my str was so low. just make sure you get a good str bonus going. good luck

I don't see runescape ever ending. jagex seems to have a great business strategy and now that they have funorb and possibly mechscape (whatever its called now) i could only see a new game by jagex slowly taking over. if this did happen, i'm guessing they would offer a forced membership option for all f2p to upgrade, if they did not upgrade their accounts would be erased. after this point they wouldn't allow new accounts into the game and would delete inactive accounts after 6 months, or 8 months with a 1500+ total level. then they would slowly shut servers down, and after a year or two they would allow all "loyal" paying players to play the game for free, supported by ads. at this time they would stop updates. thats all i got

since your really that rich i would have just maxed out whatever skills you staked with and hoped for a revival to staking in the next two years.. you already waited 5. Might as well flip with that cash, you'll make more money monthly than most pkers do yearly.

I think jagex needs a wake-up call more so than another win. they obviously have the field beat, as any MMO dev should. But in reality, do they really have the field beat? Realistically the other devs up there have brought out great games along with great support for those games in the past year and quite honestly have higher customer satisfaction ratings. I voted forJagex because at the end of the day- i'll be playing runescape whether i like it or not.

PP is the fastest in the game, especially if you have the antipoison totem. If you don't have the totem, want to make money, and feel like sacrificing 5-10k exp per hour- blackjacking is still a great way to go.
