To get the first one was about 100k exp using sc needles, so 50k exp normally? the second one came about 4 inventories later How much xp (or other rewards) did you receive for creating a statue?I havnt cashed them in yet, But I will :)

The only problem i see is now we can hit between 1-800 would be very frustrating if we hit anything below 100 now

Meh, thats the problem with runescape nowadays. Everything is a race, everything is "srs bsns" What they need to learn from the people who have been playing since the beginning (or close to the beginning) is that in Runescape, yes there is a golden rule; and that rule is to have fun. It doesnt matter what you do, what you accomplish, granted it falls within the rules (although if you wanna break some thats fine with me, just dont get caught ;)) and as long as you enjoy doing it, then thats game.

Kyatt wins. Make a few now (if your hunter allows you to catch kyatts for fur) and either make or buy dueling rings. The kyatt will teleport you VERY close to a summoning obby & the dueling ring teleports to the 1clock bank @ castle wars. Blazing fast exp.

That doesn't necessarily mean that it's appropriate to this game. There's a culture here where high level players want the skills they have achieved to remain difficult to everyone else, otherwise they feel cheated. Admittedly, this time it won't make much of a difference, but if they do it too much, there is going to be some raised eyebrows. I can understand where your coming from, as a scaper from 04', I can understand what you mean by wanting the achieved difficult skills. Soul Wars moved my defence rank from under 20k ti roughly 33k (although not a big big differnece, it does mean something to me) But thats now the joys of not being ocmpletly maxed yet ;) This double exp weekend will help me in the same way stealing creation has helped me from 70-85 crafting, free bonus exp. EDIT: I completly forgot responding to you sayign "just because its there doesnt mean it has to be here" Something like those, because of their sucess, may have influenced Jagex to add something in the game. I guess we'll just have to see how this plays out.

Will/ Do you actually read the screenshots that come in from players or does it depend on who it is coming from ie if someone you dont like sends a ligitimate screenshot will you still look at it? I dont see why were fighting over something like this. Why are we whining that this is stupid? I was reading posts earlier and thinking, wow, typical update, no matter what Jagex decides to post, people will complaine because we feel like it. Other games do something like this all the time. Double EXP weekends happen all the time in HALO, and CALL OF DUTY. Its generally the same, except your leveling only one number instead oh 23. And the thing is, while people complain that this double exp is too much, people LOVE double exp weekends in other games. They appreciate what is being given to them and theyre making their time to get the most out of it as possible.

over 2x exp for 3ish hours is still amazing w/ no boosts
