It's a way for combat noobs to vent their frustrations. Very, very common in PvP areas (including the duel arena itself) Noob: "OMG def noob!" Translation: What's happening?! I can't own you easily! what the..?! Def noob is someone who has a high defence level for his/her combat.There's nothing wrong about having high def. It's not an unfair advantage right? When I was fishing at barbarian village, I got called a def noob just because I wear full rune @ 49 combat. That annoyed me alot :evil: :evil:

Powermine iron in Varrock western mine too. There are next to no people there. In the worst case scenario however, hop worlds.

well i heard the hiscores were increased from 1,000,000 players to 2,000,000. Maybe that's why your str is ranked now.

Uh maybe you should have read my post first. Like I stated before, if you make your own steel plates and alch them afterwards, you will get a profit of 900gp and over per plate (considering the cost of natures).

Honestly, there's no (alchable) item in F2P that buys instantly in GE and there aren't many items to alch as a free player. Steel plates are the best to alch by far and it's just profit if you make your own. With green d'hide bodies you won't lose too much if you also buy the nats. Rune meds can be alched for roughly 11.5k still they cost quite a bit. PS: In a semi-full world, nats buy almost instantly at market price in GE ;)

You need 2 coal + 1 iron per steel bar not the opposite #-o BTW, if you buy coal rather than mining it, it will be quite a loss. 1k steel bars make 200 steel plates=240k with hi-alch for 1k bars you'll need 1k iron and 2k coal each coal costs roughly 200gp, so 2000x200=400k A loss of 160k if you didn't spend any money on nats

Well Edgeville spot is the closest to bank in F2P by far, still it's quite crowded. The best strategy would be switching worlds until you find one that you prefer most (as few people as possible of course :P :P). The yews south of fally are great too. The same is true for the yews at Lumby forest. You can use the world map to find those spots. Just look for the tree thingy symbol. I hope I could help you there.

Well why don't you give yews a try (82 woodcutting is a good level to start cutting them for $$)? They are sold for at least 400gp ea. Or you could mine coal and addy ores and superheat them into bars (good place to do that is the hobgoblins' mine since the hobgoblins aren't a threat to a lvl 100+ :roll:) and sell them for like 2k+ each. Steel bars are so easy to make and they can be sold for 650-700gp each. Raw lobster's price has sky-rocketed too, so it's not a bad idea to sell them since it's a good way to get some cooking levels. You look good at combat too :P so you can easily kill hill giants/ice giants for their big bones (which can be sold nowadays for 400gp each and up).

Exp rate of fire strike depends on the damage you inflict with that spell (minimum is 11.5exp each) so try not to do fire strike on monsters that are way too strong. You will hit very low and the exp rate you'll get will be lower than expected. (Though lessers are particulary weak to this spell) I can cast 21 curses in a minute (no misclicks). That gives 21x60=1260 curses per hour. Since each curse gives you 29exp, 1260x29=36 540exp/hour

Cursing is actually cheaper than fire striking itself. You won't win any hitpoints experience but if you don't need aditional HP levels this doesn't really matter. Still if you want to do fire strike on cows go ahead. Cowhides are a good thing too :P

Well you could also try cursing. Pretty cheap yet very boring. Just equip your character until you have a mage bonus of -68 (full rune/any metal, green d'hide vambs, colourful/fighting boots, any amulet except mage or power and an earth staff). Then have water and body runes (2x waters and 1x body per curse) in your inventory, cast the spell on the same monster over and over and you'll get 55 magic. Lucrative way? Well maybe fire striking lessers at Crandor, its often empty and you can alch the rune meds they drop. You can also fire bolt on the ice giants/warriors and get some items which you can also alch. good luck ;)
