I'd agree if we were say comparing fishing to farming, or whichever. But woodcutting and fishing are VERY similar, same kind of skill, they can be compared. They can get related to each other like Woodcutting and Firemaking, but in the aspect of skills, they are unique to themselves. Thanks.. Yeah, i gotta agree. Heres (what me and my friends think) is why. Jagex knows that the BH RWT and summoning were failures (well, summoning WAS a failure, and this problem started before summoning 2 came out). So, instead of having the problems thrown in the mods faces by every ranter, they started locking wildy threads. That was fine, but they also locked summoning threads, that broke no rules. They also locked BH threads, which also broke no rules. There are hundreds of instances where mods lock threads randomly, but because you cannot repost it, or mention the mods decision, or see the most that the mod hid, nobody can do anything about it for risk of losing their membership. Thats why im on this forum. Anyway, short version: The mods lock threads because they do not want to deal with those threads anymore, or have to take those players complaints into account.

Even tho there are 300 rants about how magic is underpowered, it lets you teleport, ice burst, alch, cast spells for damage, freeze, and stop other players. Magic And wtf, magic people can support themselves, I made 1.5m getting to 70 magic, making the nats and the yew longbows for alching.

Hmm lets see. At 85, there is this rock called runite. In f2p, I can mine 20 ores in about 40 minutes with 2 scouts. Thats a decent 400k per hour. How much money per hour is magics? I know, but I think people would prefer to wc magics, 28 logs takes around 20 mins at 76-78, which is quicker, Yes I know less cash but it's still good cash -.- i did the math, 94k an hour at level 85. Monks are 110k per hour at that level, sharks are 95k an hour, and green dragons are about 320k an hour. (if you have 52 summoning that is)

i wonder what will happen to the runescape fan base. I think people may quit for the new game, and people may (if they dont stop it) do more monotonous skills, like woodcutting, and fishing, while playing netscape on a different window. I know ive done things like that... I dont think people will quit rs because a) its a better game (guessing, idk really) B) they put more work into it c) the fact that its been around for so long gives it a structure that you cannot copy without being around for just as long.

Well, I think they made it because 1) f2p needed something to waste money on, other than regular full rune. This solved it 2) They needed something worthwhile to get people to like treasure trails, and to do them. I gotta say, I immedately did several treasure trails when i became a member, because I wanted to find a piece of trimmed armor.

monster hunting is a very broad term. you could easily kill green drags with those stats, and get a lot of cash. you could train a bit and do irons. or, i would suggest 90 for gwd

If im in the tzhaar place, using verracs brassard, with a hally and a safespot, does the brassy degrade? I think its dependant on the number of times you get attacked, but I dont know, it could be dependant on the hits you give out.
