  1. Minds actually even sell on GE.
  2. it would have been nicer to have range, melee and mage classes. And if there was more terrain difference. If you could use heights, ravines etc to your advantage. I'm a big fan of the original Shogun Total War and Medieval Total War. But I guess it is too much to ask for a full RTS game for a 'mini'-game.
  3. conflict: i hardly ever win, because i'm not going to camp, but i always manage to kill 10-18 units, giving me a positive return on the investment. there is definitely strategy involved. if you apply the combat triangle you will always have an advantage. if you don't go for the end victory the games last shorter as well. i find the game enticing. maybe it is the simplicity.

farm toadflax if you can't stand dead herbs.

380+ slayer tasks and 97 slayer. I was already doing slayer before the update. I never canceled a task. I have wyverns and steel dragons blocked.
  6. i actually also tank in void. it's not really problematic for many situations. Just the hard hitting ones are problematic, but black d'hide isn't much better for those either. (99 def).
  7. I have both. I use bunyip with SGS. Guthans is nice for lower levels because it can actually heal quite a lot, quite fast. Bunyip is great when you have higher melee stats because you just need a bit of healing.
  8. Tip for dueling ring users You don't have to use all charges. Leave one charge, then high alch it. You get 7 teleports for a discounted price.

I'm only lvl 71 farming, but most of that is from farming herbs. I don't do it on a daily basis. Only when I think I need a bit more money. Or when I want to take a break from slayer.
  10. I have the feeling scandinavia is quite a big market for Jagex. Also here in Finland there is a huge penetration of the game among young people. That may explain the fact there are several servers for a country that only has 5 million inhabitants. Or maybe it is the good infrastructure of the internet in Finland? High speed pipelines to the rest of the world. Not a bad pick for a server.
  11. lol...i did exactly the same thing!
  12. I used to sell bloods for 500 each on W2 in the old days.
  13. There is only one solution. The reward can NEVER be greater than what your opponent is risking. It's just logic.
  14. Last time that happened it was actually a scammer. He kept following me because I actually talked back to him. Then I put him on ignore.
  15. He has decent combat stats and also midrange skilling stats. The world is open for him. Do whatever. If you have absolutely nothing you could start collecting secondaries. Should get you a million in a few hours.
  16. It's slow compared to the average task though. I never take two bunyips. I always take a break between bunyips. Banking doesn't cost much time anyway and sometimes things just go wrong. You get hit more than normal. They don't drop raw lobbies (cooking isn't 76). etc. So 1 super att, str, def. 1 or two prayer pots. SGS for extra healing/prayer. Swallow hole scrolls. A bit of food. The thingie necklace. Alch runes. And I collect most drops. It adds up. edit: And if you take a break halfway you can visit your house, top up on prayer and save one prayer pot.
  17. I actually heard people claim the attack cape wasn't ugly. Imagine that. My personal favourites are the slayer and agility cape. But I guess the next guy will say something different. And just remember that all skill capes are ugly if you turn on your taste center in your brain. Ever worn one withour armour? YUCK! yet I wear one of mine every day, because for most of my time on runescape I thought I would never be able to have a 99. And now I do. Several even.
  18. And let's not forget you have a decent income with slayer, you train the slayer skill, and you gather charms for summoning.
  19. I started to hate them. It takes for ever to do a waterfiend slayer task and piety doesn't seem to make much difference. Just wanted the world to know this unimportant factoid.
  20. It would be nice if they new slayer monster had nice secondary drops. I.e. if it was the new aviansie. It would be great if it could act as an alternative to a good cash making experience for slayers and for slayers only. Then it wouldn't matter if the primary drop is crap.
  21. I'm mostly using bandos for melee slayer tasks since I don't need much defense. When I tank iron dragons i exchange bandos tassets for verac skirt. It has better prayer and defense. Add a DFS and you still have a respectable defense. For all mage defense tasks I use karils. But not for something such as bloodvelds. I simply use void range (when I am ranging them), or black d'hide, because they don't hit hard with 99 defense. I had a phase in my leveling when barrows was essential. That was when I hadn't maxed melee yet, summoning didn't exist, and guthans was standard equipment for any slayer. Haven't taken guthans out of the bank for ages though. In conclusion I only use parts of verac and karils.
  22. I actually tested it. Whip is marginally faster than sword at iron drags.
  23. On my quest for 99 slayer I already acquired 4 other "noob" skill capes. (maxed melee) I will probably end up with ever more before I hit 99 slayer.
  24. Indeed, hellhounds are supposed to be hated. Like God/Jagex intended.
  25. Hellhounds shouldn't have drops. (besides charms, clue scrolls and bones)
