I never realised people actually had big opinions on medication. In my house I'm used to being surrounded by it. My parents are both on anti-depresants, my mum takes epilepsy medication and my dad is on bloody morphine for his back... As for 'people don't need anti-depressants', I'd like to remind you that people are DIFFERENT and depression isn't something that can be magicked away. Some people can do it with willpower other's can't.

    No it's not.

I've got various inhalers for my asthma that I've taken for a long time. Terbutaline (blue), budesonide (brown) and my cool new blue & brown in one inhaler, Symbicort (red). I've gone through various different types of inhalers. Just sprays, sprays with a big tube thing when I couldn't spray them properly and, what I have now, turbohalers. I also take paracetamol fairly regularly, I'd say at least once a week, for my headaches. I also have to take fairly heavy amounts of it when it gets to that time of the month <_<
  5. I wouldn't be so pretentious to think that fansites hold up Runescape. I think that for people who already play RS and are active in a fansite, like me, it keeps them playing. If I wasn't a big part of this community already then I would probably have quit RS by now but, because I have my obligations here, I keep playing and stuck it out. Fansites never made me start playing but they do encourage me to KEEP playing.
  6. I hate to see dungeoneering becoming a similar 'everyone wear the same thing' setup, and it probably could be more balanced. I personally have rejected the bind of a hood because I never rush or do 'hardcore' dungeoneering. I take my time and I don't imagine that a hood would be as fun to me as being able to mage.
  7. It's hard to see the worst of it because we had to remove the worst ;) Pawn's post is fine, however, so lets move on from this topic.
  8. What 'millions' of people is he talking about? Has anyone died yet from these cables being released? No. Has there been a security breach? No. To quote Julian Assange in an article he wrote today:
  9. I saw this on the news earlier and raged. This is total bull, an obvious smear campaign. Trumped up charges as a way to get him into the American's hands. I don't believe that someone as high profile and paranoid as Assange would risk everything he's worked for by raping women, just before going head to head with the American government in the cable release. It just smells of crap to me.
  10. Oh my GOD   Either that's fake or I'm moving to wherever you are.
  11. Well if you're systematically making an enemy out of practically every government in the world, you're bound to be paranoid. You're also going to have a lot of smear campaigns and trumped up accusations thrown at you by handsomely paid-for people. Apparently this is what happens if you try to tell the truth =/
  12. To be honest I had no idea they'd actually published it. I realized how much the article sucked long after submitting it  Nor did I know that FC was permanent. Do wish someone would have told me about it though  Guest article choices are usually made at time of publishing so there's no time to get pre-approval. That's why we say guest articles may be used at any time without warning. When submitting for the writing contest we did say all articles would be kept as potential guest articles. I don't think it's a bad article, it looks at an interesting topic which we haven't covered recently.

  14. I actually really like this idea, I think it could be pulled off well. But people are complaining all of the t-shirts are just plain t-shirts with something slapped on it but if they're not going to go into deals with proper clothes companies, preferring to have cheap t-shirts easily done on spreadshirt, then it's just what you're to expect.
  15. I don't think it'll have a huge impact because I think that people who have stuck to RS for a long time aren't going to just abandon their years of work and go somewhere else. I admit I do flitter between Runescape and Puzzle Pirates occasionally, but that's just me being fickle.

Buying myself a Wifi Kindle 3 <3333 Really can't wait for it. I'm presuming that money from relatives is going to make up the cost but even if it doesn't, I don't care. I want one so bad. I'm putting off ordering it because when it arrives at my house I don't know if I'm going to be able to wait until Christmas. I'm going to take my brother into Manchester's 3-floor Primark on the day after Boxing Day and buy him about £20 of clothes. He wants technology but he desperately, desperately needs more clothes. We're buying my mum some perfume and my dad I dunno, I'll find something for a £10-ish somewhere. I've told my parents I don't WANT presents. My dad is still like 'ooooh you've got to open something though, we'll get you bits and bats'. No. They just gather dust in my bedroom like the art set you got me last year which I used once. I'm beyond needing millions of presents. I just want whatever money they can spare me. I hope on waking up on Christmas morning, opening my Kindle, putting some books on it then going back to bed for some reading time :D
  17. I always love seeing people go 'EWWW I WOULDN'T BE SEEN DEAD IN A RUNESCAPE T-SHIRT'. It's sweet, really. I used to be like that but going to Sixth Form and University has changed me a bit and none of the friends I have at Uni think I'm sad for playing RS. Sure they go 'why not play something better?' but it's what I like and they don't care. I was gonna buy one of those pink Ziliyana t-shirts if the 50% code still worked earlier but it didn't so oh well. I already have a Runescape and a My Other T-shirt is Trimmed top. They just cycle through my T-shirt choices along with my Yu-Gi-Oh! Abridged, You've Just been Nerimowned and DDR:UK T-shirts. Y'know, it doesn't matter. As long as you're not a fat basement dweller, most people aren't really gonna judge you on it.
  18. I tend to not actively go for money. Most of my money comes from sharks which I wish while reading or watching something for a few hours. Previously I did Yews but when I reached 99 I moved over to fishing :P If I do actively *go* for money then I craft Natures since I don't have the sort of levels, or nerve, to go boss hunting. I'm happy just skilling and I spend most of my time Dungeoneering anyway if I'm up for anything active.
  19. I thought it was 77 RC for bloods? I can't do them and I'm 76. I don't know about timings but may I suggest that you bank at moonclan rather than Castle Wars? Saves faffing around with bracelets. And if you want the fastest xp then filling your bank might be a good idea. If you've only 10-20 spots to fill then it's not hard to do by picking up books from your POH or random fletching stuffs. You can then just dump them all when finished, though it's not extremely faster if you're going to be RCing for a long period of time it might be worth it.
  20. =D> This is a great post, one of the few here that isn't 'waaah efficiency is ruining it or 'waaah anti-efficiency is ruining it'. It doesn't matter what 'side' you're on, if you're being arrogant then you're part of the problem.
  21. Its endangering soldiers and other innocent peoples lives right? And this, is why I'm not debating it. But it's not. The Government comes out with the same BS every time about it risking lives and it's absolute crap. Of ALL the times Wikileaks have released 'life-risking' documents, how many people have died from it? None. They're not bloody advertising troop movements and pointing a big neon sign saying 'HERE'S A WEAK SPOT GO KILL THEM'. It's exposing the hypocrisies and corruption of their regime. This doesn't equate to 'blood on Julian Assange's hands'.
  22. As... interesting as your claims are, I think it's fair to say that Jagex AREN'T trying to use subliminal illuminati images in the game. It's not hard to make ANYTHING up when you slap two different images together as 'evidence'. You aren't going to get any sort of genuine response on this thread if you ARE trying to make a legitimate post and if you're not, then it's spam either way. So I'm going to lock this, feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
  23. My face when reading TIF members believing government propaganda on Wikileaks: :( My face when reading TIF members believing in 9/11 conspiracies:  Maybe it's because I've been reading comments on The Guardian all morning, but I thought that this being genuine and a legitimate act of freedom of speech wasn't all that radical of an idea? These documents don't put lives at risk because they've been edited and names have been redacted from the documents by the newspapers given them earlier by Wikileaks. Julian Assange isn't an enemy, or a terrorist as he's already been called by US officials, he's just bringing out the truth which US citizens should ALREADY have. The cables today being released have BEEN READ AND CHECKED BY THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION. While disapproving of the release, they did read them over and approved that they wouldn't put lives at risk in their current form. Countries around the world seem to think that having control of information, ultimate control, is what makes them powerful but it's not, it's the people and if you don't respect the people and try to manipulate and lie to them then eventually it's going to come back and bite you on the arse. Yeah, not all of this is unsurprising and you can't think that diplomats saying things behind our backs is anything to go mad over, but there is really some interesting information in this with regards to the middle east and I totally approve of what Wikileaks is doing, and has done in the past.

I have gloves :D But if I'm travelling to and from Uni, even if I don't use it outside if it's been raining my stuff is gonna be wet once I'm on the bus so I was wondering if a proper waterproof case was worth it or if cheaper alternatives are just as good.
