I really loved this year's event. Really felt Christmassy, unlike that one last year which was more about halloween >.< I love the heimland games area and the emotes. The hammer is pretty awesome but I love my heim crab hat <3 They're so cute!

Hehe, reminds me of when I had to go over to Ardougne and I thought it was like some huge journey, I got freaked out and when I arrived I didn't want to leave because I was afraid it'd be hard to get back :P I trained combat on the guards there, too.

Pretty crappy: £50 from the insurance company as a replacement for my old broken laptop. 2ghz processor, came with 1Gb ram which I got upgraded to 2. Doesn't have an intel chipset graphics which is yay, at least. Gonna be buying a desktop in summer next year to take to Uni.

I'd buy some sort of Blackberry phone... I hate the iPhone. Maybe I'd buy one to throw around or something.

Lets not make this a Wikileaks vs Facebook argument. If you ask me, both Zuckerberg and Assange have made an impact on society. Zuckerberg has created the biggest social networking site and helped to create communication all over the world. Assange has helped to expose the truth about the US and Governments all over the world. It all just depends on if you see the advancement of social communication or the advancement of transparent corporations to be the more worthy accomplishment. I personally find Wikileaks to be a more important website than Facebook. Everyone forgets that Wikileaks published the 'classified' documents of Scientology, proving Zenu and all that insanity, insanity that is fairly common knowledge these days. It's hard to say that Wikileaks hasn't had a noticeable impact on society.

As interesting as your claims are, you have no proof to back them up. It's extremely unlikely that Jagex would really do anything of the sort and to claim that they do requires substantive proof. I'm going to lock this thread as we don't like people trying to present wild theories as truth and this thread is getting a thoroughly negative and spammy reaction.

I want a nicer community and for skilling to become a viable moneymaking method again. It'd also be nice to see the Soul rune altar and some more (good) rewards for Dungeoneering.

I almost [cabbage] my pants today, when I realised that my study skills essay due on Friday was missing. I must have deleted it or something... I searched in the recycle bin and it wasn't there either, or on my pen drive! Then came frantic googling of 'how to recover a deleted file' and after downloading a program I have it back <3 I couldn't find it on my hard drive but it was on my pen drive and it's all there. :thumbsup: That was a close call.

I've had those sort of thoughts too. I like to think that people (both here and my other old internet places) would find out because my friend Shannon would get to know and tell people or she'd tell Wingless who would then let everyone else know. It is sort of morbid thinking, but I do wonder sometimes. I always have done.

I have a crap load of cheap biro pens but my best pen is definitely my Parker. Parker pens have always been brilliant, I've had one at most stages of my life. You can honestly feel the difference when you write with them. Also there's the added benefit that they're made of metal which means I can't chew them (though I actually DID manage to chew through one when I was younger :unsure: )
