Manga/Anime Discussion
For sure! Every opportunity I have. I'll take some better pictures with it next week, but the 20th there's a small convention in Leeds called Thought Bubble. Manchester's Forbidden Planet has a cosplay competition on the 22nd then there's a Christmas Cosplay Party in December held by Manchester Uni's anime society :D Then I'll be going to as many cons as is possible, next year. Midlands Expo in Feb (I think) for sure and MAYBE London Expo.

Any character from Umineko :P But like Star said, Don't Say Lazy ritsu might be a good idea - I think people WOULD recognise it if they know the show well enough, maybe not just a person who's heard of K-On though. But anyway... MY COSPLAY CAME TODAY! I tried it on and it's a little big, but it's still great. Here's some early pics (note I'm wearing the sleeves wrong, I didn't realise at the time >.<) [hide] [/hide] It's a shame I look horrible when wearing my glasses with it =/

NaNoWriMo
Tried it once and failed, quite a few years back. I managed Script Frenzy though, a screenplay sort-of-version of NaNo. Tbh I'd give it a vague attempt again but I have enough on my plate with University.

Surge box
Thanks for all the advice guys! It was early morning before Uni so I didn't fancy finding a team, but I might try later on today. I can't wait to get one :D

Mystery organization offers billions to UK

I'd like an answer to this question too =/ I'm just going through floors on C1 trying to get Forgotten mages, but no drop yet. Any advice on hunting down a celestial surge box?- Celestial surgebox
This is like Christmas come early, and I didn't even realise! I've always wanted to mage in Dung, I did for a while, but stopped when it became a nightmare trying to do large dungeons. 125 bloods simply weren't enough and I would have to spend ages at the start making different runes. Then, when they ran out, I'd have to use weaker spells since I don't have the RC level for bloods and unless I'm dunging with friends then I'm unlikely to get any made for me. I have to get one of these puppies.- Mystery organization offers billions to UK
Interesting. I'm hoping for some sort of mysterious global crime-fighting organisation to be at the heart of this - Manga/Anime Discussion
Got an email saying it's been dispatched with about 8-10 days estimated shipping time. Can't wait! also I finished Azumanga Daioh today. Very cute anime, Chiyo-chan makes me hauu~! I shouldn't watch it on the bus to/from Uni though, people must think I'm insane giggling to myself :P- 02-Nov-2010 - Dungeoneering The Warped Floors
Hauu~!! It's so cute. I really want one. It sounds adorable. <3:- Wingless' Top 10 Games [Updated]

  Artists deserve to be paid for their work. I would agree... If every penny of what we paid actually WENT to the artists. Either directly to them or for direct use in helping them continue their work... But alas, it does not. It lines the pockets of filthy rich executive bosses who couldn't give a damn about genuinely supporting artists. The filthy rich bosses who allowed the artists to be good in the first place by publishing, sponsoring, and promoting their work, you mean? Regardless, some of the money goes to the artist if you buy, which is still better than none of the money from pirating. It's worth noting (HAH I so punny) that it's not realistically possible for huge amounts of money to go to the artist, especially if it's not a very famous one. Producers have to be able to still make profit off of an artist that may not sell many albums, and you have to think about production costs. I'm not sure these images of "filthy rich executive bosses" that everyone uses to defend their pirating ("Stick it to Da Man, man") are really accurate. I fail to see how the publishing industry MAKES a good artist. A good artist will be naturally good, have developed their own talents and such... they may not have been as 'successful' as they were before being purchased by a media giant, but they'll still be good. What do the publishing companies do? They advertise, publish and promote... but bands and artists can do that ALL THEMSELVES with the internet. You'll find some brilliant musicians who are self-published online and are making it big. Not super-stardom millionaires, but they're living off their music without a big corporation behind them. No matter what these companies actually do, they couldn't give a toss about the musicians they promote - they just want more money. It's a simple fact.- Behind The Scenes November
I'm very excited! The banking update and Dung update sound awesome. Although I might never reach warped floors, I can still appreciate the work gone into them and especially the rewards coming with them :) that necklace sounds amazing, especially with a bonecrusher. Depending on how it works, it may be of real great use when slaying.- Happy Halloween
Halloween is a great excuse for people like me to Cosplay! Also free sweets - who can argue with it? I sat downstairs last night for the trick or treaters but we only got one :( My brother went trick or treating and someone gave him a cheesetring... haha :D I didn't do anything, though. I usually don't.- Limewire shut down

I was told at secondary school that crying was good, for women who are hormonal, because it gets the hormones out of your system :P But yes, if you need to cry you shouldn't hold it in.- -~ RALLY: Awareness for Fairness ~-
Wow. This sounds very exciting and I have to say I'm looking forward to it!! :D I hope I can come. What timezone are the times in? GMT? I might make some signatures for this later on.- Tip.It Times - 31st October 2010
Since it's Halloween, in the holiday spirit, we chose to put a cheerful fictional article out first rather than the same old editorials: I do hope you forgive us for wanting people to smile :) Also Guest articles are almost ALWAYS never going to be featured - our own articles always take precedence. I really enjoyed Emerson's article and the guest article was very well written :)- Tip.It Times - 31st October 2010
Time for a new release of the: >>>Tip.It Times!<<< When replying please make sure to clarify the article you are replying to! Thanks! If you spot any typos or mistakes in the article then please PM them to me :) Enjoy the articles! And Happy Halloween Everyone!- Jagex's new bot punishment: Level resetting
Please remember guys, when posting screenshots ingame or of adventurer's logs to REMOVE THE USERNAME IN QUESTION. Not doing so will require the image to be removed as, in topics such as this, it could be naming that person as a botter and naming names is against our rules. Just a reminder :)- How am I supposed to get over it when I have a constant reminder?
A lot of you are unfeeling gits. Sometimes, even though nothing can be done about it, it's good to vent. Sometimes you just have to tell someone, even random people on a game forum! Letting people know your feelings can put them in perspective, even just writing them out. I've done this a lot myself. I express a lot of my problems here, use it to get support - even just knowing that someone has listened to me. Yes, there isn't much any of us can do. Sometimes it's silly to be overly 'Awwww! *huggles*' but sometimes it's what people need. They need support - just someone to speak to. So, if you think this is pointless or stupid, then ignore it. Don't come in here being unfeeling and unnecessarily cruel because you either think that you're being cool, you're taking the high ground and being 'superior' or you're being realistic. It's not realistic to expect the world to react kindly, life is harsh, but that doesn't mean we need to. If life is cruel then why are you so determined to make it even worse? But yes, more on topic, you'll just have to see how things go. Feelings can be interchangeable and you need to think what is best for yourself and your child. That baby isn't anyone else's - it's yours. No matter who else made them, she/he is still a part of you and you'll love your child. Things will work out :)- An Elitist's View on Crashing
Okay this is the last post regarding this matter. I've just removed some unnecessary flaming posts in this thread. I'm going to make a few quick reminders. RESPECT OTHER PEOPLE'S OPINIONS. Don't flame, call names or belittle people who have a different opinion to you. Don't just call everything trolling. If something IS trolling or inflammatory then DO NOT RESPOND TO IT. Report it! DON'T RESPOND. Responding makes things far more difficult to deal with because things get dragged on and muddied and no definitive action can be taken. It also weakens your report, when you finally do, if you don't report something until you've made several replies to it. So please, remember the rules.- What is your total XP/HR
